The resurrection changes everything! On the 3rd day after Jesus' death on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, Jesus was raised from the dead. He defeated the power of sin and death forever, and He offers us forgiveness and eternal life by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.
John 20:30-31... 30 Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. 31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
