Chicano Shuffle

Twenty-Seven is the natural number following 26 and preceding 28… yeah, good point… more importantly, it’s time for another shuffle! We get the ball rolling with a wet table… not that kind… our millennial discovery and a retraction (cause mistakes are made). Somehow we shuffle over to tacos… shocker… tacos arabes, mulitas, and some nacho fries. Very nice! Of course this segues to… a crazy story of infidelity… nice shuffle. Followed by some crazy sex phrases, insert parental advisory here. In this week’s “this day in chicano history”, we go over the Eastside Walkouts (or blowouts) that kicked off the chicano movement. After this poorly researched history lesson, we hit those broken in clothes you can can’t throw out, the Winter Olympics, and other pendejadas. Welcome back to another shuffle… Tuesday right… we get things rolling along with a talk about concerts and someone’s encounter in little Toyko involving karaoke. Shuffle on over to a Netflix documentary which takes us into a conversation about secret codes and phrases that don’t translate well. It’s only rational that this leads the raza to an unusual DUI news story from this past weekend. Which in turn, brings us to car related stories including a chingon one about a stolen car. Here we are again… is 25 a milestone? We’re not sure… so moving along… we kick off with a little recap from last week’s quasi-live episode then shuffle over to the ghetto whistle and an unofficial plug for a chingon internet radio station. Someone tells us how he makes all us guys look bad on Valentine’s Day… thanks vato. Yeah… don’t let your girl hear this section. We power through the shuffle with aliens, Tesla, Mars, and billionaires. Eventually it’s time to slow it down… in a good way… to another one of someone’s ghost stories. Let’s see if they can paint the picture and the “horror” comes across. This leads us into some deep territory were we touch on Ayahuasca/DMT, mental health, the recent shooting and giving friends advice. It’s a good little discourse but somehow, we wrap it up with the title topic… el nada que ver (or the nothing to see/innocent bystander). Which is the opposite of deep thought. Today we are coming at you live from the East Los Angeles Art Walk! Well… kind of… pre-recorded live… close enough. Is there some cosmic entity, god or whatever you believe in that just completely despises the number… who knows and it doesn’t even relate to the episode… so moving on. A news story about an usual traffic stop then leads us into the meat of the episode. We get into a traffic stop story from our book of life which segues into a related tale, albeit the cliff notes version, of the “unmentionable”. Ohhhh… yeah… surprise episode to celebrate the milestone that was Tuesday’s 10th! Okay, truth be told, as usual we kind of forgot about Sto… so yeah, this was his debut episode. At least, seated with the crew at the round table. To get things started, we have a conversation about the cruise ship industry which takes us to a story about being stuck on Catalina. Where we will start with some a quick talk about a recent trip to the mother land and going out to eat without your girl. Then we move on to the meaty stuff.
