Worship isn’t just about singing songs at church; it’s our way of saying thank you to God — with our hearts, our voices, and our joy. In Psalm 100:4, it says, “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and bless His name.” When this psalm was written, God’s people would come to the temple singing, clapping, and celebrating how good He was. Worship was never quiet or routine — it was full of energy and thankfulness! And now, because of Jesus, we don’t have to go to a temple to worship. God’s Spirit lives in us, which means we can worship anywhere — at church, in the car, in our room, even in the shower. If Jesus were sitting next to you today, I think He’d say, “Worship isn’t about sounding perfect — it’s about being thankful. Sing from your heart, not for others, but for Me.” In this episode, we’ll talk about how worship is thankfulness in action — how singing, praying, or even dancing can remind us that God is good and that He’s always worthy of our praise. That heavy feeling of guilt can whisper, “I blew it.” But here’s the amazing truth — when we mess up, God doesn’t cancel us. He forgives us. In 1 John 1:9, it says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” The Apostle John wrote those words to remind believers that forgiveness is always available through Jesus. You don’t have to earn it — you just have to ask for it. If Jesus were sitting beside you today, I think He’d say, “You’re not defined by your mistakes. I already forgave you. My grace isn’t something you earn — it’s a gift I’ve already given you.” In this episode, we’ll talk about how to be thankful for God’s forgiveness — and how to live that out by forgiving others. Hey Carpool Crew, it’s Pastor Justin — and today we’re talking about something that isn’t always easy: being thankful even when life feels hard. It’s simple to thank God when everything’s going great, but what about the days when things fall apart, people are unkind, or plans don’t go the way you hoped? In 1 Thessalonians 5:18, the Bible says, “Give thanks in everything, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” That doesn’t mean we have to be thankful for bad things — it means we can be thankful in them. Because even in hard moments, God is still good, still present, and still working for our good. In this episode, we’ll look at how the Apostle Paul chose gratitude while sitting in prison — even singing songs with Silas after being arrested. Their thankfulness led to an incredible miracle! You’ll learn how to practice that same kind of faith when life doesn’t go your way, and how small prayers of gratitude can change your heart, even on tough days. In Ephesians 5:8, the Bible says, “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.” Long ago, Halloween started as a festival where people tried to scare away spirits. Later, it became connected to All Saints Day — a time for remembering faithful believers. Over the years, it turned into the candy-and-costumes holiday we see today. So what does Jesus want us to remember on a day like this? He’d say, “Don’t be afraid of today — you were made to shine.” Whether you’re dressed up or staying home, you can walk in the light. What makes it different from someone just having a bad day?” “Has anyone ever made you feel nervous, embarrassed, or unsafe — on purpose?” “If that ever happened, would you feel comfortable telling me or another adult?” “What do you think Jesus would say to someone being bullied?” “What would you do if you saw a kid sitting alone every day?” “Do you know what to say if someone is being mean to you over and over?” “Has anyone ever said something to you online that felt wrong or hurtful?” “Have you ever done or said something you wish you could take back?” “Is there anything you haven’t told me because you weren’t sure how I’d respond?” These questions help you gently explore both sides of the experience — whether they’ve seen bullying, experienced it, or participated in it. 🚩 Signs That Your Child Might Be Getting Bullied: Even when kids don’t say anything out loud, their behavior often tells the story. Here are some typical signs to watch for: Suddenly not wanting to go to school or church Complaints of stoma ch aches, headaches, or feeling sick before school Torn clothing, missing items, or unexplained bruises Big mood swings after school — especially sadness or anger Trouble sleeping or frequent nightmares A drop in confidence or saying things like, “I’m dumb” or “No one likes me” Changes in eating habits (eating way more or less than usual) Avoiding social situations they used to enjoy Withdrawing from friends or acting distant Refusing to talk about what happened that day Sometimes it’s subtle. Sometimes it’s loud.
