S2 Ep 270November 18th: Thankful Through Worship | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus Kids Devotional

Hey, if you’re listening on Spotify, head over to our new podcast feed here: 🎧 https://bit.ly/SpotifyPlus Also, you can subscribe on Spotify for our weekend episodes, plus Goodnight Psalms and Carpooling with Heroes of the Bible: ✨ https://bit.ly/SpotifySubscribe Hey Carpool Crew, it’s Pastor Justin — and today we’re talking about one of the best ways to show thankfulness: worship. Worship isn’t just about singing songs at church; it’s our way of saying thank you to God — with our hearts, our voices, and our joy. In Psalm 100:4, it says, “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and bless His name.” When this psalm was written, God’s people would come to the temple singing, clapping, and celebrating how good He was. Worship was never quiet or routine — it was full of energy and thankfulness! And now, because of Jesus, we don’t have to go to a temple to worship. God’s Spirit lives in us, which means we can worship anywhere — at church, in the car, in our room, even in the shower. If Jesus were sitting next to you today, I think He’d say, “Worship isn’t about sounding perfect — it’s about being thankful. Sing from your heart, not for others, but for Me.” In this episode, we’ll talk about how worship is thankfulness in action — how singing, praying, or even dancing can remind us that God is good and that He’s always worthy of our praise. Worship helps our hearts refocus and remember how amazing God really is, no matter what kind of day we’re having. Before you go, talk about this together: What’s one way you like to worship God — singing, praying, dancing, drawing, or something else? And remember, no matter where you are or how you’re listening, God loves you. 🔗 Listen & Subscribe 🍏 Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/4gUygJo 🎧 Spotify: https://bit.ly/SpotifyPlus 📺 YouTube: https://bit.ly/YoutubeCPWJ 💻 Podbean: https://bit.ly/PodbeanCPWJ 📱 Instagram: https://bit.ly/InstagramCPWJ 🚗 Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/CPWJFB Christian kids podcast, Bible stories for kids, kids devotional podcast, Jesus podcast for children, short Christian podcast for kids, podcast for kids in the car, faith-based podcast for children, Christian content for school mornings, daily Bible podcast for kids, morning devotions for families, Bible podcast for elementary kids, Jesus stories kids love, teaching kids about faith, helping kids follow Jesus, Christian parenting resources, raising Christian children, encouraging Christian kids, learning about Jesus for kids, Christian media for families.

S2 Ep 269November 17th: Thankful for Jesus’ Example | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus Kids Devotional

New Spotify Podcast Feed HERE Hey Carpool Crew, it’s Pastor Justin — and today we’re talking about something amazing: being thankful for Jesus’ example and learning how to live like Him every day. We all have people we look up to — maybe a teacher, coach, or parent — but Jesus gave us the ultimate example of how to love, serve, and live with kindness. In John 13:15, Jesus said, “For I have given you an example, that you also should do just as I have done for you.” This moment came right after He did something totally unexpected — He washed His disciples’ feet. Back then, that was a servant’s job! But Jesus wanted His friends to understand that real greatness comes from serving others, not being served. If Jesus were sitting in the car with you or at the breakfast table, I think He’d say, “You don’t have to guess how to live — just follow My lead. Be kind when others aren’t. Forgive when it’s hard. Serve even when no one notices.” In this episode, we’ll talk about how to live with that same kind of love and humility — from helping a friend in the hallway to forgiving a sibling or showing kindness when no one’s watching. Jesus didn’t just talk about love; He lived it. And that’s something we can be thankful for every single day. Before you go, talk about this together: What’s one way you could follow Jesus’ example at home, at school, or with your friends? And remember, no matter where you are or how you’re listening, God loves you. 🔗 Listen & Subscribe 🍏 Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/4gUygJo 🎧 Spotify: https://bit.ly/SpotifyPlus 📺 YouTube: https://bit.ly/YoutubeCPWJ 💻 Podbean: https://bit.ly/PodbeanCPWJ 📱 Instagram: https://bit.ly/InstagramCPWJ 🚗 Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/CPWJFB Christian kids podcast, Bible stories for kids, kids devotional podcast, Jesus podcast for children, short Christian podcast for kids, podcast for kids in the car, faith-based podcast for children, Christian content for school mornings, daily Bible podcast for kids, morning devotions for families, Bible podcast for elementary kids, Jesus stories kids love, teaching kids about faith, helping kids follow Jesus, Christian parenting resources, raising Christian children, encouraging Christian kids, learning about Jesus for kids, Christian media for families.

S2 Ep 266November 14th: Thankful for Salvation | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus Kids Devotional

New Spotify Podcast Feed HERE Hey Carpool Crew, it’s Pastor Justin — and today we’re talking about something bigger than anything you could ever wrap in a box or find under a tree: salvation. It’s God’s greatest gift — something we could never earn, but something that changes everything. In Ephesians 2:8–9, the Bible says, “For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift — not from works, so that no one can boast.” The Apostle Paul wrote this to remind us that salvation isn’t something we earn by being “good enough.” It’s a free gift from God — given out of love and grace. If Jesus were sitting beside you in the car or at the breakfast table, I think He’d say, “You don’t have to prove that you’re good enough for My love. You’re already Mine. I gave My life for you so you could live forgiven, free, and forever close to Me.” In this episode, we’ll talk about what it means to live thankful every day because of what Jesus did for us — dying on the cross, rising again, and giving us hope that never runs out. You’ll even hear a story about a surprise Christmas gift that shows how salvation is something we can only receive — never earn. Before you go, talk about this together: How can you show your thankfulness to God for the incredible gift of Jesus, forgiveness, and salvation? And remember, no matter where you are or how you’re listening, God loves you. 🔗 Listen & Subscribe 🍏 Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/4gUygJo 🎧 Spotify: https://bit.ly/SpotifyPlus 📺 YouTube: https://bit.ly/YoutubeCPWJ 💻 Podbean: https://bit.ly/PodbeanCPWJ 📱 Instagram: https://bit.ly/InstagramCPWJ 🚗 Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/CPWJFB Christian kids podcast, Bible stories for kids, kids devotional podcast, Jesus podcast for children, short Christian podcast for kids, podcast for kids in the car, faith-based podcast for children, Christian content for school mornings, daily Bible podcast for kids, morning devotions for families, Bible podcast for elementary kids, Jesus stories kids love, teaching kids about faith, helping kids follow Jesus, Christian parenting resources, raising Christian children, encouraging Christian kids, learning about Jesus for kids, Christian media for families.

S2 Ep 265November 13th: Thankful for God’s Forgiveness | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus Kids Devotional

Hey Carpool Crew, it’s Pastor Justin — and today we’re talking about one of the best reasons to be thankful every day: God’s forgiveness. We all mess up sometimes. Maybe you’ve said something you wish you could take back, disobeyed your parents, or hurt a friend’s feelings. That heavy feeling of guilt can whisper, “I blew it.” But here’s the amazing truth — when we mess up, God doesn’t cancel us. He forgives us. In 1 John 1:9, it says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” The Apostle John wrote those words to remind believers that forgiveness is always available through Jesus. You don’t have to earn it — you just have to ask for it. If Jesus were sitting beside you today, I think He’d say, “You’re not defined by your mistakes. I already forgave you. My grace isn’t something you earn — it’s a gift I’ve already given you.” In this episode, we’ll talk about how to be thankful for God’s forgiveness — and how to live that out by forgiving others. When we choose to let go of anger and offer grace, we reflect the love of Jesus to everyone around us. Before you go, talk about this together: When’s a time you messed up but were forgiven? How did it feel to be given another chance? And remember, no matter where you are or how you’re listening, God loves you. 🔗 Listen & Subscribe 🍏 Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/4gUygJo 🎧 Spotify: https://bit.ly/SpotifyPlus 📺 YouTube: https://bit.ly/YoutubeCPWJ 💻 Podbean: https://bit.ly/PodbeanCPWJ 📱 Instagram: https://bit.ly/InstagramCPWJ 🚗 Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/CPWJFB Christian kids podcast, Bible stories for kids, kids devotional podcast, Jesus podcast for children, short Christian podcast for kids, podcast for kids in the car, faith-based podcast for children, Christian content for school mornings, daily Bible podcast for kids, morning devotions for families, Bible podcast for elementary kids, Jesus stories kids love, teaching kids about faith, helping kids follow Jesus, Christian parenting resources, raising Christian children, encouraging Christian kids, learning about Jesus for kids, Christian media for families.

S2 Ep 264November 12th: Thankful for School | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus Kids Devotional

Hey Carpool Crew, it’s Pastor Justin — and today we’re talking about something that’s a huge part of your life: school! Some mornings it’s exciting, and other mornings… well, you’d rather stay in bed. But here’s the truth: school isn’t just about grades or homework — it’s one of the ways God helps you grow. In Luke 2:52, the Bible says, “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and with people.” That means even Jesus — the Son of God — went to school! He learned scripture, listened to teachers, asked questions, and practiced skills like carpentry from His father, Joseph. Jesus understands what it’s like to learn, to try hard, and to grow. When you’re studying, sitting in class, or learning something new — even when it’s hard — God is shaping your heart and mind. He’s teaching you how to think, how to be kind, and how to live with purpose. So, whether you’re solving math problems, writing stories, or learning how to be a good teammate, remember: every bit of learning is a chance to worship God. In this episode, we’ll talk about how to find joy and thankfulness in school — from your favorite subjects to the teachers and friends who make your day better. Before you go, talk about this together: What’s one thing about school you can thank God for today, and how can you make the most of the rest of your week? And remember, no matter where you are or how you’re listening, God loves you. 🔗 Listen & Subscribe 🍏 Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/4gUygJo 🎧 Spotify: https://bit.ly/SpotifyPlus 📺 YouTube: https://bit.ly/YoutubeCPWJ 💻 Podbean: https://bit.ly/PodbeanCPWJ 📱 Instagram: https://bit.ly/InstagramCPWJ 🚗 Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/CPWJFB Christian kids podcast, Bible stories for kids, kids devotional podcast, Jesus podcast for children, short Christian podcast for kids, podcast for kids in the car, faith-based podcast for children, Christian content for school mornings, daily Bible podcast for kids, morning devotions for families, Bible podcast for elementary kids, Jesus stories kids love, teaching kids about faith, helping kids follow Jesus, Christian parenting resources, raising Christian children, encouraging Christian kids, learning about Jesus for kids, Christian media for families.

S2 Ep 263November 11th: Thankful for Adventures | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus Kids Devotional

Hey Carpool Crew, it’s Pastor Justin — and today we’re talking about something exciting: being thankful for adventures! Whether it’s a road trip, a vacation, or just exploring a new park, every trip is a chance to see God’s goodness in new places and with new people. In Psalm 121:8, the Bible says, “The Lord will protect your coming and going both now and forever.” This verse comes from a special group of Psalms called the Songs of Ascent — songs that God’s people used to sing while they traveled to Jerusalem to worship Him. Every step of their journey reminded them that God was with them wherever they went. If Jesus were riding in the car with you — maybe squeezed between the suitcases with a snack bag in hand — I think He’d say, “Every road trip, every walk, every sunrise — it all reminds you that my Father made this world for you to enjoy. Be thankful for it.” In this episode, we’ll talk about how every adventure is a gift — from the laughter and memories with your family to the unexpected moments that make each trip special. Even when things don’t go as planned, God is still showing His creativity, His faithfulness, and His love for fun. Before you go, talk about this together: What’s one adventure or family trip you’re thankful for, and how did you see God’s goodness along the way? S2 Ep 262November 10th: Thankful for Quiet Moments | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus Kids Devotional

Hey Carpool Crew, it’s Pastor Justin — and today we’re talking about something that might sound small but can make a big difference: quiet moments. Life can feel loud — alarms, chatter, school, sports, and busy schedules — but some of the most powerful moments with God happen when we slow down, breathe, and listen. In Psalm 46:10, God says, “Stop fighting, and know that I am God.” In Hebrew, that phrase means “let go.” It’s God’s way of saying, “You don’t have to control everything — I’m still in charge.” When we pause the noise, we make space for peace, rest, and God’s voice to fill our hearts. If Jesus were sitting next to you in the car today, He might say, “You don’t always have to fill the silence. Slow down — I can fill that space with peace.” Quiet doesn’t mean empty — it’s a space where you can rest, breathe, and remember that God is with you. In this episode, we’ll talk about how to find quiet moments in your day — like when you’re in the car, before bed, or early in the morning — and how those moments can help you feel closer to God. Before you go, talk about this together: When’s a time this week you could pause, take a deep breath, and say, ‘Thank You, God’? And remember, no matter where you are or how you’re listening, God loves you. 🔗 Listen & Subscribe 🍏 Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/4gUygJo 🎧 Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3ZQq3iq 📺 YouTube: https://bit.ly/YoutubeCPWJ 💻 Podbean: https://bit.ly/PodbeanCPWJ 📱 Instagram: https://bit.ly/InstagramCPWJ 🚗 Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/CPWJFB Christian kids podcast, Bible stories for kids, kids devotional podcast, Jesus podcast for children, short Christian podcast for kids, podcast for kids in the car, faith-based podcast for children, Christian content for school mornings, daily Bible podcast for kids, morning devotions for families, Bible podcast for elementary kids, Jesus stories kids love, teaching kids about faith, helping kids follow Jesus, Christian parenting resources, raising Christian children, encouraging Christian kids, learning about Jesus for kids, Christian media for families.

S2 Ep 259November 7th: The Power of Thank You | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus Kids Devotional

Hey Carpool Crew, it’s Pastor Justin — and today we’re talking about two small words that can make a huge difference: Thank you. All month long, we’ve been learning about being thankful — not just during November, but every single day of the year. Saying thank you isn’t just good manners; it’s a way to remind people that God’s goodness is real. In Psalm 107:1, it says, “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His faithful love endures forever.” The people who wrote those words had been through both hard times and good times — but they still sang the same truth: God is good. Every time we say thank you, we’re joining that same song thousands of years later. If Jesus were sitting with you today, He might say, “When you say thank you, you’re spreading My love.” Gratitude is powerful. It reminds people that kindness, faith, and goodness still exist in the world — because God is good. In this episode, you’ll learn how saying thank you can be a kind of superpower. When you tell your teacher, coach, parent, or friend thank you — and mean it — it not only brightens their day, it changes your heart too. Gratitude turns ordinary moments into reminders that God is always good. Before you go, talk about this together: Who’s someone you can say thank you to today, and how could those words show them God’s goodness? And remember, no matter where you are or how you’re listening, God loves you. 🔗 Listen & Subscribe 🍏 Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/4gUygJo 🎧 Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3ZQq3iq 📺 YouTube: https://bit.ly/YoutubeCPWJ 💻 Podbean: https://bit.ly/PodbeanCPWJ 📱 Instagram: https://bit.ly/InstagramCPWJ 🚗 Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/CPWJFB Christian kids podcast, Bible stories for kids, kids devotional podcast, Jesus podcast for children, short Christian podcast for kids, podcast for kids in the car, faith-based podcast for children, Christian content for school mornings, daily Bible podcast for kids, morning devotions for families, Bible podcast for elementary kids, Jesus stories kids love, teaching kids about faith, helping kids follow Jesus, Christian parenting resources, raising Christian children, encouraging Christian kids, learning about Jesus for kids, Christian media for families.

S2 Ep 258November 6th: Thankful for How God Made Me | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus Kids Devotional

Hey Carpool Crew, it’s Pastor Justin — and today we’re talking about something we sometimes forget to thank God for: ourselves. That might sound a little funny, but think about it — God made you! He gave you your laugh, your voice, your mind, your talents, and the unique way you see the world. In Ephesians 2:10, it says, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for us to do.” The word workmanship means handcrafted artwork. You are a custom creation, designed with love and purpose by God Himself. If Jesus were sitting beside you right now, He’d probably say, “You don’t have to wish you were someone else. I made you exactly how I want you — my handcrafted masterpiece.” Even when you mess up, God looks at you and says, “That’s my creation, and I love you.” In this episode, we’ll talk about how being thankful for who we are isn’t pride — it’s gratitude. When you recognize that God made you on purpose, you start seeing His goodness reflected in your own life. Before you go, talk about this together: What’s one thing you’re thankful for about how God made you? And remember, no matter where you are or how you’re listening, God loves you. 🔗 Listen & Subscribe 🍏 Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/4gUygJo 🎧 Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3ZQq3iq 📺 YouTube: https://bit.ly/YoutubeCPWJ 💻 Podbean: https://bit.ly/PodbeanCPWJ 📱 Instagram: https://bit.ly/InstagramCPWJ 🚗 Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/CPWJFB Christian kids podcast, Bible stories for kids, kids devotional podcast, Jesus podcast for children, short Christian podcast for kids, podcast for kids in the car, faith-based podcast for children, Christian content for school mornings, daily Bible podcast for kids, morning devotions for families, Bible podcast for elementary kids, Jesus stories kids love, teaching kids about faith, helping kids follow Jesus, Christian parenting resources, raising Christian children, encouraging Christian kids, learning about Jesus for kids, Christian media for families.

S2 Ep 257November 5th: Thankful for My Church Family | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus Kids Devotional

Hey Carpool Crew, it’s Pastor Justin — and today we’re talking about something really special: being thankful for our church family. Whether your church meets in a big building, a small school, or even your living room, God designed the church to be more than a place — it’s a family. A place where you belong, where people love you, pray for you, and help you grow closer to Jesus. In Hebrews 10:24–25, it says, “Let us consider one another in order to provoke love and good works, not neglecting to gather together…but encouraging each other.” The early church faced hard times, but they still gathered together because they knew being together made them stronger. That’s still true today — we need each other! In this episode, we’ll talk about how every part of the church matters — from the greeter in the parking lot to the worship leader, the teacher who helps you find your seat, and even the volunteer who makes sure there are donuts (hopefully!). Jesus calls the church His body — which means every person has a purpose, and every person belongs. Before you go, talk about this together: Who’s one person at church you’re thankful for, and how could you show them that you appreciate them this week? And remember, no matter where you are or how you’re listening, God loves you. 🔗 Listen & Subscribe 🍏 Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/4gUygJo 🎧 Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3ZQq3iq 📺 YouTube: https://bit.ly/YoutubeCPWJ 💻 Podbean: https://bit.ly/PodbeanCPWJ 📱 Instagram: https://bit.ly/InstagramCPWJ 🚗 Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/CPWJFB Christian kids podcast, Bible stories for kids, kids devotional podcast, Jesus podcast for children, short Christian podcast for kids, podcast for kids in the car, faith-based podcast for children, Christian content for school mornings, daily Bible podcast for kids, morning devotions for families, Bible podcast for elementary kids, Jesus stories kids love, teaching kids about faith, helping kids follow Jesus, Christian parenting resources, raising Christian children, encouraging Christian kids, learning about Jesus for kids, Christian media for families.

S2 Ep 256November 4th: Thankful for My Friends | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus Kids Devotional

Hey Carpool Crew, it’s Pastor Justin — and today we’re talking about one of the best gifts God gives us: our friends! Friends make life brighter, funnier, and a whole lot more meaningful. They help us when we’re sad, forgive us when we mess up, and remind us of what God’s love really looks like in action. In Proverbs 17:17, it says, “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a difficult time.” True friendship isn’t just about fun or convenience — it’s about being there when life gets tough. In Bible times, friends were like family — people you could count on no matter what. That’s still what good friends are today. In this episode, we’ll talk about why Jesus values friendship so much, how He called His disciples His friends, and how you can be the kind of friend who loves others the way Jesus loves you. You’ll also hear how a simple “thank you” or kind gesture can make a big difference in someone’s day. Before you go, talk about this together: Who’s a friend you’re really thankful for, and how can you show them this week that you care about them? S2 Ep 255November 3rd: Thankful Even When It’s Hard | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus Kids Devotional

Hey Carpool Crew, it’s Pastor Justin — and today we’re talking about something that isn’t always easy: being thankful even when life feels hard. It’s simple to thank God when everything’s going great, but what about the days when things fall apart, people are unkind, or plans don’t go the way you hoped? In 1 Thessalonians 5:18, the Bible says, “Give thanks in everything, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” That doesn’t mean we have to be thankful for bad things — it means we can be thankful in them. Because even in hard moments, God is still good, still present, and still working for our good. In this episode, we’ll look at how the Apostle Paul chose gratitude while sitting in prison — even singing songs with Silas after being arrested. Their thankfulness led to an incredible miracle! You’ll learn how to practice that same kind of faith when life doesn’t go your way, and how small prayers of gratitude can change your heart, even on tough days. Before you go, talk about this together: What’s one thing you can thank God for today, even if things aren’t going the way you hoped? S2 Ep 252October 31st: Scared of Halloween? | Kids Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus

Hey Carpool Crew, it’s Pastor Justin — and today’s a big one. It’s October 31st, and depending on your family, today might look totally different. Maybe you’re dressing up and going trick-or-treating, maybe you’re at a church festival, or maybe your family skips Halloween altogether — and that’s completely okay! But here’s the question we’re asking today: What does God say about Halloween, and should we be afraid of it? In Ephesians 5:8, the Bible says, “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.” Long ago, Halloween started as a festival where people tried to scare away spirits. Later, it became connected to All Saints Day — a time for remembering faithful believers. Over the years, it turned into the candy-and-costumes holiday we see today. So what does Jesus want us to remember on a day like this? He’d say, “Don’t be afraid of today — you were made to shine.” Whether you’re dressed up or staying home, you can walk in the light. S2 Ep 251October 30th: Scared to Pray Out Loud? | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus

Hey Carpool Crew, it’s Pastor Justin, and today we’re talking about something that makes a lot of kids — and even adults — nervous: What if I’m scared to pray out loud? Maybe you freeze when someone asks, “Who wants to pray?” Or you worry you’ll say the wrong thing, forget your words, or sound weird. Praying silently feels easier — but praying out loud? That can feel scary. In Romans 8:26, the Bible says, “The Spirit Himself intercedes for us even when we don’t know what to pray for.” That means even when you don’t know what to say, God still hears your heart. He understands your feelings, your pauses, even your nervous “ums.” Prayer isn’t about performance — it’s about presence. It’s not about getting the words right; it’s about talking honestly with God. In this episode, we’ll talk about what Jesus might say if you were sitting there, staring at your shoes, scared to pray out loud. He’d probably whisper, “You don’t need perfect words — I’m listening to your heart.” You’ll hear Amari’s story — one of our listeners who got brave, prayed out loud, and learned that even short, simple prayers matter. Before you go, talk about this together: What’s one short sentence you could say if someone asked you to pray out loud today? And remember, no matter where you are or how you’re listening, God loves you. 🔗 Listen & Subscribe 🍏 Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/4gUygJo 🎧 Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3ZQq3iq 📺 YouTube: https://bit.ly/YoutubeCPWJ 💻 Podbean: https://bit.ly/PodbeanCPWJ 📱 Instagram: https://bit.ly/InstagramCPWJ 🚗 Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/CPWJFB Christian kids podcast, Bible stories for kids, kids devotional podcast, Jesus podcast for children, short Christian podcast for kids, podcast for kids in the car, faith-based podcast for children, Christian content for school mornings, daily Bible podcast for kids, morning devotions for families, Bible podcast for elementary kids, Jesus stories kids love, teaching kids about faith, helping kids follow Jesus, Christian parenting resources, raising Christian children, encouraging Christian kids, learning about Jesus for kids, Christian media for families.

S1 Ep 250October 29th: Scared of Losing People’s Trust? | Kids Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus

Hey Carpool Crew, it’s Pastor Justin, and today we’re talking about something that hits deep — What if I’m scared of losing people’s trust? Maybe you told a lie, forgot something important, or made a mistake that hurt someone you care about. Now you’re worried your parents, teachers, or friends won’t see you the same way. That fear can feel heavy, but here’s the good news: trust can be rebuilt — and Jesus walks with you as you do it. In Luke 16:10, Jesus says, “Whoever is faithful in very little is also faithful in much.” That means the small, everyday moments where you choose honesty and follow through really matter. When you say you’ll do something and keep your word — even something small — you’re building trust brick by brick. In this episode, we’ll talk about how losing trust doesn’t define you, but how what you do next does. Jesus never calls you your mistakes. He reminds you that your character grows when your words and actions match. If you’ve lost someone’s trust, you can own the truth, apologize, and start showing faithfulness again — one small step at a time. Before you go, talk about this together: What’s one small way you can show someone today that you’re trustworthy? And remember, no matter where you are or how you’re listening, God loves you. 🔗 Listen & Subscribe 🍏 Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/4gUygJo 🎧 Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3ZQq3iq 📺 YouTube: https://bit.ly/YoutubeCPWJ 💻 Podbean: https://bit.ly/PodbeanCPWJ 📱 Instagram: https://bit.ly/InstagramCPWJ 🚗 Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/CPWJFB Christian kids podcast, Bible stories for kids, kids devotional podcast, Jesus podcast for children, short Christian podcast for kids, podcast for kids in the car, faith-based podcast for children, Christian content for school mornings, daily Bible podcast for kids, morning devotions for families, Bible podcast for elementary kids, Jesus stories kids love, teaching kids about faith, helping kids follow Jesus, Christian parenting resources, raising Christian children, encouraging Christian kids, learning about Jesus for kids, Christian media for families.

S2 Ep 249October 28th: What If God Doesn’t Hear Me? | Kids Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus

Hey Carpool Crew, it’s Pastor Justin, and today we’re talking about a fear that can get really loud inside our hearts — What if God doesn’t hear me? Maybe you’ve prayed for something really big or really personal, but nothing seemed to happen. You start to wonder, “Did I say it wrong? Is God too busy for me? Does He even hear me?” If you’ve ever felt that way, you’re not alone. But in Jeremiah 29:12, God makes us a promise: “You will call to Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.” Even when His people messed up and felt far away, God didn’t stop listening. He said, “If you call to Me, I’ll hear you.” And that promise is still true for you today. In this episode, we’ll talk about what Jesus might say if you whispered a quiet prayer and wondered, “Did that even work?” He’d say, “I heard that. I always hear you.” You don’t need fancy words, perfect timing, or a certain place. You can pray anywhere — in your head, out loud, in your car, at school, or while you’re brushing your teeth. God listens every time because you are His child and He loves you. Before you go, talk about this together: What’s something you’ve prayed for — and how did it feel waiting to hear from God? And remember, no matter where you are or how you’re listening, God loves you. 🔗 Listen & Subscribe 🍏 Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/4gUygJo 🎧 Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3ZQq3iq 📺 YouTube: https://bit.ly/YoutubeCPWJ 💻 Podbean: https://bit.ly/PodbeanCPWJ 📱 Instagram: https://bit.ly/InstagramCPWJ 🚗 Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/CPWJFB Christian kids podcast, Bible stories for kids, kids devotional podcast, Jesus podcast for children, short Christian podcast for kids, podcast for kids in the car, faith-based podcast for children, Christian content for school mornings, daily Bible podcast for kids, morning devotions for families, Bible podcast for elementary kids, Jesus stories kids love, teaching kids about faith, helping kids follow Jesus, Christian parenting resources, raising Christian children, encouraging Christian kids, learning about Jesus for kids, Christian media for families.

S2 Ep 248October 27th: Scared of Getting in Trouble? | Kids Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus

Hey Carpool Crew, it’s Pastor Justin, and today we’re talking about a fear that hits a lot of kids — What if I get in trouble? Maybe you know that sinking feeling in your stomach when a teacher calls your name, or when your parents give you that look. You just want to do everything right. You want people to be proud of you. But here’s the truth — even good kids mess up sometimes, and that’s okay. In 1 John 1:9, the Bible says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” That means when we make mistakes, God doesn’t want us to hide or pretend to be perfect. He just wants us to be honest — because forgiveness is real. In this episode, we talk about what Jesus might say when you’re scared of getting in trouble or when you’ve already messed up. He wouldn’t scold you or make you feel small. He’d say, “Come to Me. Be honest. I’ll forgive you. I’ll help you grow.” You’ll learn how to let go of fear, be honest when you’ve made a mistake, and trust that Jesus sees your heart — not just your behavior. So the next time you feel that “uh-oh” moment coming, remember: you’re not a bad kid. You’re a loved kid, growing and learning under God’s grace. Before you go, talk about this together: Have you ever gotten in trouble for something that felt unfair or something you didn’t mean to do? How did it make you feel? S2 Ep 245October 24th: Scared People Won’t Like Me? | Kids Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus

Hey Carpool Crew, I’m Pastor Justin, and today we’re talking about something a lot of kids (and adults!) feel when they walk into someplace new—school, camp, church, or even a new neighborhood. That question pops up: What if people don’t like me? It’s a real fear, but here’s something even more real—Jesus loves the real you, and the right people will too. In this episode, we dive into Psalm 139:14, which says, “I will praise You because I have been remarkably and wondrously made.” You were created by God on purpose, with your personality, voice, smile, and laugh—all designed by Him. When we try to change ourselves just to fit in, we’re hiding the person God made on purpose. You’ll also hear the story of Ava from Wisconsin, who went to a new camp and tried to act like someone else just to fit in. But when she finally opened up and was honest, she found a real friend—and discovered that being herself was enough all along. If you’ve ever been afraid that people won’t like you, remember this: Jesus already loves you completely. The right people will like the real you too. You don’t have to perform or pretend—you just have to be who God made you to be. Before you go, talk about this together: Have you ever felt pressure to act different just to fit in—and how did that feel for you? S2 Ep 244October 23rd: Scared to Try Something New? | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus

Hey Carpool Crew, I’m Pastor Justin, and today we’re talking about something that’s exciting, but also a little scary—trying something new. Whether it’s a new sport, a new school, a new class, or a new routine, it’s normal to feel nervous when you’re starting out. Sometimes we think if we’re not great right away, we’ve failed—but that’s not true. In today’s episode, we look at Galatians 6:9, which says, “Let us not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.” Jesus reminds us that success doesn’t come from being perfect—it comes from perseverance. Every try, every small step, every time you show up again, you’re growing. You’ll also hear a story about my son Cannon, who didn’t do well in his very first BMX race. He was discouraged, but he didn’t quit—and over time, he became one of the top riders his age in Arizona. Trying something new can be tough, but Jesus walks with us through the learning, the failure, and the growth. So, don’t give up. Be brave enough to begin. Celebrate progress, encourage others, and trust that God is proud of you—not because you’re perfect, but because you keep going. Before you go, talk about this together: What’s something new you’ve tried or want to try, and what makes you nervous about it? S2 Ep 243October 22nd: Scared to Ask for Help? | Kids Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus

Hey Carpool Crew, I’m Pastor Justin, and today we’re talking about a fear that a lot of people—kids and adults—deal with but rarely talk about. What if I’m scared to ask for help? Maybe it’s homework you don’t understand, a friendship that’s hard, or something heavy on your heart. Sometimes we think asking for help makes us look weak or dumb, but that’s not true. In fact, Jesus loves it when we ask for help. In Proverbs 11:2, it says, “When arrogance comes, disgrace follows, but with humility comes wisdom.” And in Matthew 11:28, Jesus says, “Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Asking for help isn’t failure—it’s humility. It’s trust. It’s strength. In this episode, we’ll talk about why asking for help matters, how Jesus wants to carry our heavy things with us, and how to practice humility in everyday life. You’ll also hear the story of Elijah from New York, who learned that asking his dad for help wasn’t failure—it was family. Before you go, talk about this together: What’s one area where you could ask for help today, and who could you go to? S2 Ep 242October 21st: Scared of Losing Someone You Love? | Kids Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus

Hey Carpool Crew, I’m Pastor Justin, and today we’re talking about something really hard but really important—what if someone I love dies? It’s one of those fears that can hit when things get quiet, or after losing a pet or grandparent, or even when you just start thinking about what would happen if someone you love wasn’t there anymore. In this episode, we look at John 14:2 where Jesus says, “In my Father’s house are many rooms... I’m going away to prepare a place for you.” These words weren’t meant to scare His followers—they were meant to give them hope. Jesus was reminding them (and us) that death isn’t the end for those who love Him. If you’ve ever felt scared about losing someone, you’re not alone. Jesus understands that fear. He’s lost people too. But He wants you to know that heaven is real, and He’s preparing a place for all who believe in Him. In this episode, we’ll talk about how to find comfort, how to talk to your parents about your fears, and how to focus on the gift of each day you have with the people you love. Hey Carpool Crew! 👋 Ever been sitting in class, minding your own business… and suddenly your name gets called? Your heart races, your face feels hot, and your brain freezes? Yeah — we’ve all been there. In today’s episode, Pastor Justin talks about what to do when you get put on the spot and don’t know what to say. This is different from giving a speech — it’s that unexpected moment when everyone’s eyes are suddenly on you. 😳 We’ll look at James 1:5, where God promises to give us wisdom when we ask — and at the story of Peter walking on water (Matthew 14). When the pressure hit, Peter sank because he got distracted by fear — but Jesus didn’t let him drown. He reached out, pulled him up, and reminded him: You’re not alone. You’ll learn: Why being surprised doesn’t mean you failed How honesty is better than pretending What to pray when you feel flustered or afraid Remember, Jesus isn’t surprised — even when you are. He’s right there with you, ready to give you peace and wisdom when the moment catches you off guard. Hey, carpool crew! Have you ever looked around and thought, “I’m not the best at anything… maybe I’m just not enough”? You’re not alone—and you’re not without answers. In today’s episode of Carpooling with Jesus, Pastor Justin tackles one of the quietest but deepest fears kids carry: the fear of not measuring up. We go all the way back to Genesis 1:27, where God says you were made in His image—on purpose, with care, and full of value. It’s not about being the smartest, the fastest, or the funniest. It’s about knowing the truth: you are already enough because God says so. Pastor Justin shares real talk, a story about two of his amazing friends (a Super Bowl MVP and a NASA scientist!), and a powerful reminder that you don’t need to be anyone else—you just need to be the you God made. Whether you're great at listening, solving puzzles, playing soccer, or just being a good friend, your gifts matter. 📍 Talk about it together: What’s something God made in you that’s unique and good, even if it’s not flashy or loud? Hey, carpool crew! Today we’re revisiting a really important topic — one that too many kids are afraid to talk about: bullying. Maybe you’ve been there. Maybe someone’s made fun of your name, pushed you around, or made you feel small. That fear of being bullied can feel huge… but you’re not facing it alone. In this episode of Carpooling with Jesus, Pastor Justin shares how Jesus sees your pain and stands with you in it. We look at Psalm 34:18 — “The Lord is near the brokenhearted; He saves those crushed in spirit.” You'll hear encouragement from Scripture, real stories from kids like Kayla and Pastor Justin himself, and learn what Jesus might say to someone who’s hurting because of a bully. We also share real, practical steps — how to speak up, who to talk to, and how to remember the truth of who you are: You are loved. You are strong. S2 Ep 235October 14th: Scared of the Future? | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus

Hey, Carpool Crew! What if everything changes? What if growing up feels too big or too fast? In today’s episode of Carpooling with Jesus, we’re talking about one of the most common fears kids face — the future. Whether it’s a sibling going off to college, the thought of moving out one day, or just the unknown of what’s next, Jesus has something powerful to say. In Matthew 6:34, He tells us not to worry about tomorrow — because God is already there. He invites us to trust Him with what’s ahead and live fully in today. You’ll hear Maya’s story from Florida about how she faced this exact fear and how Jesus helped her enjoy the moment instead of letting fear steal it. Today’s message will help you learn how to breathe, be present, and remember that Jesus is already in your future — and that means you’re never facing it alone. 📍 Talk about it together: What's something you're really enjoying right now — and how can you thank God for this part of today? S2 Ep 234October 13th: Scared of Losing a Pet? | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus

Hey, Carpool Crew! Today’s episode is for anyone who’s ever had to say goodbye to a pet — or is scared of that happening one day. Whether it’s a goldfish, a hamster, a dog, or a cat, losing a pet is hard… because loving them meant something real. We’re continuing our October series What Would Jesus Say About the Things That Scare Us? — and today we’re talking about grief. In John 11:35, the shortest verse in the Bible simply says: “Jesus wept.” That’s two words, but they show us something really important: Jesus understands sadness. When someone he loved died, he cried. And that means your tears matter to him too. If you’ve lost a pet — or you’re scared of losing one — Jesus doesn’t roll his eyes or rush you to feel better. S2 Ep 230October 10th: Scared of Tornadoes or Earthquakes? | Kids Devotional Carpooling with Jesus

Hey carpool crew! Whether you're looking at a stormy sky or just feeling a little nervous about what could happen, today’s episode is all about a big fear many kids (and grownups!) face — natural disasters like tornadoes and earthquakes. Pastor Justin takes us to Mark 4:39–40, where Jesus calms a wild storm with just three words: “Silence. Be still.” Jesus' power over the wind and waves reminds us that He is stronger than any storm, and even when the storm keeps going, we are never alone. You’ll also hear a real story from a listener named Kayla, who lives in tornado country, and how she and her family found peace by praying and singing “Jesus Loves Me” during a scary night. This episode helps kids prepare wisely, trust deeply, and remember that God’s voice is stronger than any storm. Whether you’re in the hallway with flashlights or just feeling anxious before bed, Jesus is right there — riding it out with you and ready to bring peace. 🎧 Today’s Bottom Line: Jesus is stronger than every storm — and He's with you through them all. 🔗 Listen & Subscribe 🎧 Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3ZQq3iq 🍏 Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/3Zt7lvO 📺 YouTube: https://bit.ly/YoutubeCPWJ 💻 Podbean: https://bit.ly/PodbeanCPWJ 📱 Instagram: https://bit.ly/InstagramCPWJ 🚗 Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/CPWJFB Christian kids podcast, Bible stories for kids, kids devotional podcast, Jesus podcast for children, short Christian podcast for kids, podcast for kids in the car, faith-based podcast for children, Christian content for school mornings, daily Bible podcast for kids, morning devotions for families, Bible podcast for elementary kids, Jesus stories kids love, teaching kids about faith, helping kids follow Jesus, Christian parenting resources, raising Christian children, encouraging Christian kids, learning about Jesus for kids, Christian media for families.

S2 Ep 229October 9th: Scared of Moving or Changing Schools? | Kids Devotional Carpooling with Jesus

Hey carpool crew! Whether you're facing a big move, starting at a new school, or just feeling nervous about all the changes around you — this episode is for you. Today on Carpooling with Jesus, Pastor Justin talks about one of the biggest fears many kids face: what if I have to move or change schools? We’ll look at Isaiah 43:19, where God says, “I’m doing something new… I will make a way in the wilderness.” This verse reminds us that even when things feel scary or uncertain, God is already making a way for us — not just to get through it, but to discover something new and good in the process. You'll hear the story of Mateo, a real kid who had to move away from everything he knew — and how God showed up through one act of kindness in a brand new classroom. Whether you’re heading to a new place or learning to be brave in the one you’re already in, this episode will remind you that Jesus goes ahead of you, walks beside you, and never leaves you behind. 🎧 Today’s takeaway: God doesn’t just comfort us when things change — He creates new things through the change. 🔗 Listen & Subscribe 🎧 Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3ZQq3iq 🍏 Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/3Zt7lvO 📺 YouTube: https://bit.ly/YoutubeCPWJ 💻 Podbean: https://bit.ly/PodbeanCPWJ 📱 Instagram: https://bit.ly/InstagramCPWJ 🚗 Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/CPWJFB Christian kids podcast, Bible stories for kids, kids devotional podcast, Jesus podcast for children, short Christian podcast for kids, podcast for kids in the car, faith-based podcast for children, Christian content for school mornings, daily Bible podcast for kids, morning devotions for families, Bible podcast for elementary kids, Jesus stories kids love, teaching kids about faith, helping kids follow Jesus, Christian parenting resources, raising Christian children, encouraging Christian kids, learning about Jesus for kids, Christian media for families.

S2 Ep 226BONUS: What Should I Do If… I’m Being Bullied? | Kids Devotional Carpooling with Jesus

bonus

Hey Carpool Crew — I’m Pastor Justin, and I’m so glad you’re here. This is a special Carpooling with Jesus+ bonus episode — part of our series: 👉 “What Should I Do If…” We’re talking about real stuff kids face every day — at school, in the neighborhood, and even at church. And today’s topic is a big one: What Should I Do If...Im being Bullied. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parent Action Step: Parents — use this episode as more than background noise. Use it as a launching point for a real conversation with your child. Here are some questions to get you started. Ask them gently, without pressure, and be ready to listen without interrupting. The goal is to open the door, not to get all the answers right away. 💬 Questions to Ask Your Child: “Have you ever seen someone get picked on at school or in your neighborhood?” “What do you think bullying looks like? What makes it different from someone just having a bad day?” “Has anyone ever made you feel nervous, embarrassed, or unsafe — on purpose?” “If that ever happened, would you feel comfortable telling me or another adult?” “What do you think Jesus would say to someone being bullied?” “What would you do if you saw a kid sitting alone every day?” “Do you know what to say if someone is being mean to you over and over?” “Has anyone ever said something to you online that felt wrong or hurtful?” “Have you ever done or said something you wish you could take back?” “Is there anything you haven’t told me because you weren’t sure how I’d respond?” These questions help you gently explore both sides of the experience — whether they’ve seen bullying, experienced it, or participated in it. 🚩 Signs That Your Child Might Be Getting Bullied: Even when kids don’t say anything out loud, their behavior often tells the story. Here are some typical signs to watch for: Suddenly not wanting to go to school or church Complaints of stoma ch aches, headaches, or feeling sick before school Torn clothing, missing items, or unexplained bruises Big mood swings after school — especially sadness or anger Trouble sleeping or frequent nightmares A drop in confidence or saying things like, “I’m dumb” or “No one likes me” Changes in eating habits (eating way more or less than usual) Avoiding social situations they used to enjoy Withdrawing from friends or acting distant Refusing to talk about what happened that day Sometimes it’s subtle. Sometimes it’s loud. But it’s always worth leaning in. 🔗 Listen & Subscribe 🎧 Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3ZQq3iq 🍏 Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/3Zt7lvO 📺 YouTube: https://bit.ly/YoutubeCPWJ 💻 Podbean: https://bit.ly/PodbeanCPWJ 📱 Instagram: https://bit.ly/InstagramCPWJ 🚗 Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/CPWJFB Christian kids podcast, Bible stories for kids, kids devotional podcast, Jesus podcast for children, short Christian podcast for kids, podcast for kids in the car, faith-based podcast for children, Christian content for school mornings, daily Bible podcast for kids, morning devotions for families, Bible podcast for elementary kids, Jesus stories kids love, teaching kids about faith, helping kids follow Jesus, Christian parenting resources, raising Christian children, encouraging Christian kids, learning about Jesus for kids, Christian media for families. S2 Ep 225October 6th: Scared of Disappointing Others? | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus

Hey carpool crew! 👋 Have you ever made a mistake that hurt someone you really care about—like your parents, teacher, coach, or a close friend? That heavy feeling of disappointment can be tough, especially when you hear those words, “I’m not mad, just disappointed.” But today’s episode of Carpooling with Jesus is here to remind you of something important: you are loved, even when you mess up. We’re continuing our October series, What Would Jesus Say About the Things That Scare Us?—and today, we’re talking about the fear of disappointing others. In Matthew 3:17, God says about Jesus, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” And here’s the amazing part: God said that before Jesus ever did a miracle, preached a sermon, or went to the cross. He was already fully loved—not because of what He had done, but because of who He was. And that’s true for you too. You don’t have to be perfect for God—or your parents—to be proud of you. When you make mistakes (and we all do!), the best thing you can do is be honest, say you're sorry, and remember that you're still loved. Today’s devotional helps you walk through those hard moments with courage, humility, and grace. 📍 Question of the Day: What’s something you’ve done that made you feel bad—but God reminded you that you are still loved? S2 Ep 216September 28th: Why Integrity Matters More Than Popularity | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus

Hey Carpool Crew! In today’s episode of Carpooling with Jesus, Pastor Justin shares a powerful truth from Proverbs 28:6: “Better the poor person who lives with integrity than the rich one who distorts right and wrong.” This proverb flips what the world says about success. You’ll hear why who you are matters so much more than what you have — and how integrity is worth more than any phone, grade, trophy, or number of likes. Even Jesus, who could have chosen fame and power, chose obedience and character instead. He invites us to do the same. 🚗 Key Takeaways for Kids: Integrity means doing the right thing, even when no one is watching Being popular or having stuff doesn’t define your value God sees and celebrates every wise choice you make You don’t have to fake it to impress others—choose what’s right 👟 Practical Application: Don’t compare your life to others online or in real life Do what’s right, not just what’s easy Trust that your character matters more than your achievements 📖 Verse of the Day: Proverbs 28:6 – “Better the poor person who lives with integrity than the rich one who distorts right and wrong.” 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parent Action Step: Talk with your kids about how integrity shows up at school, in friendships, and online. Share a time when choosing integrity was hard but worth it—and encourage them to do the same. 💬 Family Discussion Question: What’s one area of your life where it’s hard to choose integrity—but you want to do better? 🔗 Listen & Subscribe 🎧 Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3ZQq3iq 🍏 Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/3Zt7lvO 📺 YouTube: https://bit.ly/YoutubeCPWJ 💻 Podbean: https://bit.ly/PodbeanCPWJ 📱 Instagram: https://bit.ly/InstagramCPWJ 🚗 Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/CPWJFB Christian kids podcast, Proverbs for children, teaching kids integrity, daily Bible devotional for kids, kids and character, wisdom over popularity, family discipleship, biblical parenting resources, helping kids follow Jesus, Carpooling with Jesus podcast.

Or stayed silent when someone needed a kind word? Today on Carpooling with Jesus, Pastor Justin shares how timing is just as important as what you say—because the right words at the right time can be life-changing. 💡 In this episode: What gold apples in silver settings really mean How Jesus modeled perfect timing in His words Why your words are more powerful than you think Real-life examples of when to speak up—and when to hold back ✨ Application for Kids: 🕰 Watch your timing. Before you speak, pay attention to how someone’s feeling. 💬 Ask yourself: Will this help or hurt right now? 🙏 Pray this: “God, help me say the right thing at the right time.” 🙋‍♀️ Discussion Question: When has someone said the perfect thing to you—and how did it make you feel? 📣 Parents: If this episode encouraged your family, share it with another parent or post it in a Facebook group. S2 Ep 212September 24th: When You Mess Up, Don’t Give Up | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus

Hey Carpool Crew! 📖 Proverbs 24:16 — “Though a righteous person falls seven times, he will get up, but the wicked will stumble into ruin.” We all mess up sometimes. We say the wrong thing, lose our temper, or make a decision we wish we hadn’t. But the Bible reminds us that wise people don’t stay down—they get back up. In today’s Carpooling with Jesus, Pastor Justin encourages kids who feel discouraged, embarrassed, or just plain done. God isn’t asking for perfection. He’s inviting you to keep going, no matter how many times you fall. 📘 In this episode: What Proverbs teaches about failing and trying again Why Jesus may have referenced this verse when teaching Peter about forgiveness How wise kids keep growing, even after a bad day A simple reminder that real strength = getting back up ✨ Real-Life Application: Don’t expect perfection—expect to grow. When you fall, talk to God and try again. Remember: Jesus isn’t done with you. He’ll walk with you as you get back up. 🙋‍♀️ Before you go, answer this together: What’s one mistake you’ve made recently—and how can you get back up from it this week? 📣 Parents: If today’s episode encouraged your family, share it with a friend or post it in a Facebook group. S2 Ep 211September 23rd: Wise Choices Make Hearts Happy | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus

Hey Carpool Crew! 📖 Proverbs 23:15 — “My son, if your heart is wise, my heart will indeed rejoice.” Even a small wise choice can bring big joy to the people who love you most. In today’s Carpooling with Jesus, Pastor Justin reminds us that when you follow God’s way—even when it’s hard—it doesn’t just help you grow… it makes others proud and thankful, too. Your choices tell a story. And when your heart is wise, you’re not just building your character—you’re blessing your parents, teachers, coaches, pastors, and friends. Just like Solomon wrote to his son, your wisdom brings real joy to those cheering you on. 👟 In this episode: How your wise decisions impact the people around you Why your heart matters more than just “good behavior” What Jesus might say after you make a hard but right choice A real-life example about choosing kindness in gym class ✨ Real-Life Application: Remember: Wise choices don’t just help you—they bless others too. Ask God: “Give me a wise heart, not just smart decisions.” Live today knowing someone sees your faithfulness and is proud—even if they don’t say it. 🙋‍♂️ Before you go, answer this together: Who’s someone in your life you want to make proud by making wise choices? 📣 Parents: Love this episode? S2 Ep 210September 22nd: Build a Strong Faith While You’re Young | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus

Hey Carpool Crew! 🎒 Whether you're sitting in the car wondering why school matters so much or thinking about everything you’ve been learning lately, I’m Pastor Justin—and I’m so glad you’re here! This month we’re in our special series: Proverbs for Your School Life — where we break down Bible wisdom for everyday kid life: school, friends, emotions, and more. 📖 Today’s Verse: Proverbs 22:6 (CSB) 👉 “Start a youth out on his way; even when he grows old he will not depart from it.” 💬 What This Means: This verse isn’t just for parents—it’s about you. It’s about how the things you're learning now—faith, kindness, prayer, self-control—are laying the foundation for your whole life. When you're learning God’s way as a kid, it sticks. It doesn’t disappear. It becomes something you carry with you into every new season. ✅ In This Episode, Kids Will Learn: That their habits and heart are being shaped right now How Jesus grew in wisdom—even as a kid Why building a strong foundation now will help them stand strong later That you don’t have to wait until you're older to follow Jesus and live with purpose 🏗️ Real-Life Example: Imagine building a skateboard ramp. If the base is weak, it collapses. But if you build it right—it lasts. Your faith is like that ramp. What you build now can hold you up for the rest of your life. 💡 Today’s Takeaways: Take what you’re learning about God seriously—even if you don’t understand it all yet Ask questions and talk with parents or teachers about faith Don’t wait to grow in wisdom—start now by living out what you’re learning 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parent Conversation Starter: "What’s one thing you’ve learned about God that you want to carry with you as you grow up?" Make time this week to talk about how kids can build a strong spiritual foundation early in life. 🔗 Listen & Subscribe 🎧 Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3ZQq3iq 🍏 Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/3Zt7lvO 📺 YouTube: https://bit.ly/YoutubeCPWJ 💻 Podbean: https://bit.ly/PodbeanCPWJ 📱 Instagram: https://bit.ly/InstagramCPWJ 🚗 Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/CPWJFB Christian kids podcast, Proverbs for children, Bible verses for kids, faith foundation for kids, Christian parenting podcast, teaching kids about God, Proverbs 22:6 explained, building character in children, wisdom for school-aged kids, how to raise kids with faith, Christian discipleship for children, Bible truth for kids
