Tracy Bell is a corporate exec turned start-up CEO. In 2016, a health scare in the family prompted Tracy and her husband to reimagine the way tea is processed in an effort to extract more antioxidants. That concept led to the creation of a new category of tea - called Fresh-Leaf TEA - and a product that is being called "the future of tea" by industry leaders. In 2017 their innovation was named Best New Product (Innovation category) at World Tea Expo. And in 2019 Millennia TEA was one of eight companies globally selected for participation in the #1 food innovation accelerator in the world, Food-X, in New York City. Before Millennia TEA, Tracy worked as PR strategist and television reporter, receiving national and international accolades for her work. Originally from Southern Ontario, Tracy has lived in Atlantic Canada for 15+ years and considers herself a full-fledged Maritimer. Kimberly White-Vincent began her career as a Registered Massage Therapist and solo-preneur in 2002 after graduating from the Kine Concept Institute of Massage Therapy. Upon receiving mentorship and coaching for her business, she has researched and established the need to pursue workplace care. David Tiefenbach, Owner, Atta-Boy Property Inspections, grew up in a small town just east of Regina and spent a lot of time at his grandparents' grain farm. It was an integral part of his life at a young age. After high school he went into the plumbing and gas fitting trade, moved to Edmonton 2005 and started his plumbing business in 2006. In 2017 he was excited to get into the cannabis business but "ended up losing my shirt." In 2018 he got his home inspector licenses and started Atta Boy Property Inspections early 2019. His intent was always to sell Atta-Boy franchises and help others in the trades to find something different and easier on the body. "I have a strong belief and I have the determination to make this successful for trades people and any other with a good work ethic who are interested. I know my support system on the business side is what really matters for the franchisees to become and stay successful. This isn’t about home inspections this is about learning the business about home inspections. This is about building relationships for success. That's why I call it Inspection Success," he says. In February 2023, Atta-Boy will start taking applications from any teenagers from 15 to 19 who may think they might be interested in Home Inspecting and seeing other trades in action from framers, electricians, plumbers, HVAC guys and insulators. He has set up a summer school holiday program from July 1 to Aug 31 for teenagers to have an opportunity to shadow these trades in action and to spend the last remaining 2 weeks with him shadowing him doing home inspections. It’s all free and the intent is to spike interest and possibly look at a trade school and possibly maybe a future Atta-Boy franchisee owner after learning their trade of choice. Tiefenbach also has a goal to build an acreage just east of Sherwood Park with a picture in his head of a couple of Clydesdales roaming around. Entrepreneurs are the backbone of Canada’s economy. Né en France, en Bretagne plus précisément, c'est en 2012 que Christophe Corré a décidé de venir s'installer au Québec. C'est en tant que conseiller en gestion de changement qu'il a commencé sa carrière dans les technologies de l'information au Québec en mai 2012. En parallèle Christophe a eu l'occasion d'adopter un chien puis d'ouvrir en 2015 sa pension canine à domicile. Leanne Rzepa, owner and founder of Nourish Lactation Consulting, became a Registered Nurse in 2000 after graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Calgary. Rzepa quickly developed a passion for breastfeeding support when she began her career as a postpartum nurse at the Rockyview General Hospital. In 2006 Rzepa began to focus her nursing practice on breastfeeding support and started studying to become a certified lactation consultant. Rzepa successfully passed her exam in 2007 and became an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant). In 2008 Nourish Lactation Consulting opened for business to provide in-home breastfeeding support and education to families in Calgary and surrounding communities. Rzepa, always an entrepreneur at heart, saw a need for in-home support after years of working in the hospital setting. "Women spend such a short time in the hospital after giving birth. Most new mothers are exhausted and aren’t able to retain the information shared by hospital staff. Breastfeeding is a learned art. It often takes days or even weeks for a new mother to feel confident feeding her baby. Nourish provides support in the home setting which is more conducive for learning and confidence building." Nourish has helped countless mothers meet their breastfeeding goals by providing quality, caring, evidence-based support. Most women Rzepa supports struggle with latch, pain, tongue tie, milk supply issues, poor weight gain, or feeding multiples. She is also the Founder of Circle CRM Group Inc. Margarita has over 20 years of extensive archaeological experience and knowledge in all services related to historical resource consulting. She is an approved permit-holding archaeologist in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Yukon and the Northwest Territories. Throughout her consulting career, Margarita has managed many large scale HRIAs and HRIMs, and recorded numerous historic resource sites. Her experience includes field assessments and mitigations for projects ranging from small-scale oil and gas to Class I pipelines and Forestry Management Areas, as well as infrastructure, power, residential/industrial subdivisions, and other developments in the private and public sector. A graduate of the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, and Durham University (UK), Margarita holds degrees in both Archaeology and Economics. Her Masters studies involved relational artifact analysis of three sites in central Europe: Austria, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. Upon completing her studies, Margarita spent 5 years working in Europe on a variety of archaeology sites including an Iron Age hillfort in Schwarzenbach, Austria, a complex Roman bath site in Grumentum, Italy and an Urartu fortress outside Yerevan, Armenia. Margarita also founded and co-directed the SVG Public Archaeology Program, a non-profit rescue excavation on the Caribbean island of St. Vincent. Vincent Cheng (healthesource.com) was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and presently resides nearby Ajax, Ontario. Although Vincent calls Canada his home, he has explored 32 countries across the globe. This exploration has anchored his connection to diverse cultures formulating a deep understanding of humanity at large. Since 2013 Vincent has traveled to Japan annually and lived with a Zen Buddhist monk in a 600-year old temple until COVID-19 prohibited travel in 2020. Vincent’s accomplishments are just as diverse as his travels. He began his career as an electrical engineer in 2004, and a year later, alongside this, Vincent began his quest of conducting orchestras, choirs, and operas. He coached and conducted hundreds of amateurs and professionals across Canada, the USA, Europe, and the Middle East in voice and musicianship. Feeling a deeper calling, Vincent retired from engineering to fully devote his pursuit to the music profession. In 2012 he sold all his possessions and booked a one-way ticket to Berlin, Germany; from there he conducted operas across Europe and won 3rd prize in the 2013 International Conducting Competition in Budapest, Hungary. In 2014 he returned to Canada and began his studies in psychotherapy, meanwhile continuing his conducting career as an ongoing passion. These diverse worlds of work and life experiences have built upon one another and connect as a whole. They are what led him to develop ‘Heal The Source’, a method that helps people fast-track their own healing based on their need for change and development. It is through this one-of-a-kind approach that Vincent’s intuitive leadership and integrity shine through.
