After retiring as a dancer, Somatic Compassion Coach Amy Kubanek realized that performance wasn't kept just for the stage - it was in every area of her life. Society demands that we perform to impossible standards - moving the goalposts as we achieve, so that no matter how great we are, and how much we do, we are always reaching, always anxious, always worried someone will see behind the curtains. In her work now, she moves to radicalize each individual she comes across, with the simple idea of giving yourself permission to exist.
