This week, we continue through Romans 8 and discuss what it truly means to be justified through faith and sanctified through the power of the Spirit.

Today, we discuss that Jesus has made us alive through his righteousness and ask how we can live in the righteousness he has won for us.

In this episode, we examine our thought lives so that we can be transformed by renewing our minds in the Spirit.

In this spiritual battle, we need to be awake and sober. We focus today on setting our minds on the Spirit so that we walk in life and peace.

Today, we dive into the reality of what Jesus has done for us on the cross and discuss what it means that the just requirement of the law has been fulfilled.

This week, we begin to study Romans 8. In this episode, we see Paul declaring that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, and we discuss how to live in that truth.

Jesus teaches us how to give the full Gospel, and we see that his words are confronting. Jesus’s teachings are meant to confront and shock us as we take up the reality that, without faith in Him, we are eternally condemned.

In today’s episode, we discuss John 3:16. We ask the Holy Spirit to give us renewed grace to receive with awe and wonder the greatest news ever given: that God loves us and has saved us through his Son.

In answering Nicodemus, Jesus refers to Himself with two Old Testament references. This draws Nicodemus into the reality that Jesus is truly the One he has been waiting for.

Jesus is clear with Nicodemus that there is a way to salvation: Baptism. Today, we discuss the need to be born anew by water and by Spirit.

This week, we dive into some of the most famous passages in all of Scripture: John 3. We see on today’s episode how Nicodemus is searching for answers about Jesus. These questions echo into the depth of every human heart: Who is He? Could He be the One?

An important yet overlooked sign of resurrected life is persecution. Today, we examine Peter’s preaching under the persecution of the high priests, and we see great courage as he is emboldened by the Holy Spirit to proclaim the centrality and exclusivity of Jesus for salvation.

Through God’s work in Peter and John, the people are astonished and amazed. Today, we see that God wants to use each and every one of us to bring people to faith. We see that Peter uses the miracle as an opportunity to again preach the name of Jesus.

Today, we see Peter and John perform their first miracle: healing a lame man. Through their witness, we see that resurrected life means walking in confidence in the power God has given us, not just for our own lives, but to touch and heal the lives of others.

In today’s show, we see that one of the signs of resurrected life is preaching and proclamation of the Gospel that is fruitful. We see through Peter’s ministry that, when Jesus is alive in us, our witness moves people to respond.

This week, we discuss the readings that we had the week following Easter. The Church immediately takes us into Acts 2, where we read about Pentecost. We see as we begin today that the Church is trying to instruct us on what it means to live life after Jesus rises from the dead.

When the bones lives, they become a vast army, living, moving, and multiplying. Today, we discuss how the Holy Spirit makes us alive, moves us, and makes us multiply for the Kingdom.

Today, we take a look at salvation history and see how the Holy Spirit, the agent of creation, created Adam and now recreates and renews the earth through the mission of Jesus.

In the passage we discuss today, we see how the dry bones had flesh, joints, and skin come upon them, but they still were not living. We need the Spirit of God to really become alive again!

In today’s episode, we talk about the need to speak the truth about who God is and who we are to ourselves. We see that God wants to give us fresh faith to believe what He calls us to prophesy.

This week, we take some time to unpack the passage of the Valley of the Dry Bones in Ezekiel 37. We examine the dryness of our own lives and see how far Israel was from God.

Paul makes this prayer from prison under the rule of Caesar. In today’s episode, we examine the cultural context in which Paul was preaching and how powerful it was to proclaim Jesus as Lord.

We have received the same power that raised Jesus from the dead: the power of the Holy Spirit. Today, we discuss how this power transforms us into the image of Christ.

Along with a new hope, we have been given a new inheritance as children of God. Today, we dive into what belongs to Jesus through his sonship, and therefore what belongs to us through grace.

As we walk as new creations, Jesus has given us a new hope through his life, death, and resurrection. We talk today about walking in the hope of the resurrection.

This week, we begin a discussion on Paul’s prayer for the Ephesians and for us in Ephesians 1. We see in today’s episode how Paul’s heart for us is that we would know Jesus truly and deeply through the power of the Holy Spirit.

On our final episode this week, we see how the Devil tempts us to despair and indifference with lies against hope, and we learn how to fight those lies. 

The Enemy often lures us into believing lies that cause us to doubt God. Today, we battle lies against faith and choose to proclaim the truth.

God wants to do great things in our lives and, through the example of Paul, we learn to ask Him to do more than we could ask or imagine.

Paul continues his prayer, asking that we would be rooted and grounded in love. As we grow in our knowledge of God’s love, we become able to live securely rooted in Him.

Today, we discuss what it means for Christ to dwell in us as his temple and how we are to live in light of this truth.

Paul prays that we would be strengthened in our inner man. Today, we discuss how coming to the Lord and praying this prayer allows us to be empowered in the Spirit.

This week, we take up Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3 and examine what he desires for the Ephesians, and for each of us, in our journey with the Lord.

Finally, Paul urges us on with the command to put on love with our wills, to actually choose to love or neighbor and put on love each day.

Yesterday we discussed living in our renewed man, but how are we renewed? In the image of the Creator! Today we discuss how to live in the image of our Creator.

An important part of setting our minds on Christ is to put to death the old man weighed down by sin and to put on the new man, which is being renewed.

In today’s episode, we move through Colossians 3 as we talk about how each day we set our minds on Christ and what that looks like in our lives.

This week, we pick back up Colossians 3 and begin to discuss what it means to be raised and seated with Christ at the right hand of the Father.

Today, we wrap up our week discussing Dei Verbum by reading a passage and seeing how that passage can feed, transform and protect us.

Not only does God’s Word feed and transform us, but we are in a spiritual battle, and in that battle God’s Word protects us. Today, we discuss how we can use God’s Word as the Sword of the Spirit in battle.

God’s Word is living and active, and today we discuss how God’s Word cuts to the heart and transforms us, but also confronts us and helps us change by the power of the Spirit.

Today, we read in Dei Verbum how God’s Word feeds us and discuss how we approach the Lord’s table to feed on his Body and the Word.
