Ep 15#15 What Grant Cardone Can Teach You About Real Estate Investing - Bulldog Mindset Podcast

Grant Cardone is one of the most amazing real estate investors that exists. He has made millions with real estate investments and wrote a lot of books about the subject. Thing is: I tend to say we need to learn from our masters. We need to learn from people who have done before what we want to accomplish. Lately he released a new book about real estate which included a lot of great advice, but I want to point you to a particular one: "What do you think about Grant Cardone's 16-unit multifamily requirement for investing in real estate? He seems to swear by this, but you seem to adopt a different philosophy. I respect both of you guys, so I would like to hear what the discrepancy is. A video would be nice!" So, today I'm going to answer this question and tell you how Grant Cardone can transform the way you see real estate. Ep 12#12 Feeling Tired With Intermittent Fasting? (FIX IT!) - Bulldog Mindset Podcast

Feeling Tired With Intermittent Fasting? (FIX IT!) If you're. fitness enthusiast, you've probably heard a lot about the benefits of intermittent fasting, including weight loss, reduced inflammation, improved digestion, better mental clarity, better sleep, etc. However, what most people don't tell you is about the side effects, more specifically, about the tiredness you might suffer once you start an intermittent fasting schedule. Someone just wrote to me recently asking me if I feel tired while doing intermittent fasting, mostly because, he feels fatigued almost all the time. And, in biological terms, it makes sense. Your body is no longer getting the constant source of fuel you used to get from eating all day long, so expect to feel a little sluggish that first couple of weeks. But you should be able to see this tiredness disappear after the first couple of weeks. Most of it has to do with ketogenic metabolism and how your body transforms the way it processes energy from now on. If you're feeling tired while doing intermittent fasting and want to fix it, watch this video to find out how!

Ep 10#10 When You Think You're A MAN But You're Just A BOY - Bulldog Mindset Podcast

When You Think You're A MAN But You're Just A BOY Most people believe that they are men while they are just boys... This is the reality of most men and I can tell you that. Recently I've received a comment on one of my YouTube videos talking exactly about that. The guys posed himself as a successful man, much above woman. But, in fact, he was simply a boy. he was still afraid of talking to women. Who was still afraid of doing a lot of other things... But who wasn't able to admit it to himself. One of the things I talk about the most in this channel is the ability to look in the mirror and tell yourself the truth. Once you're able to do that, this is when you give yourself the room to grow. In today's video, I'm going to share my thoughts on men that think they are men but are just boys and how you can turn your life around by seeing the truth and looking in the mirror. Ep 9#9 The More You Sweat In Practice The Less You Bleed In Battle - Bulldog Mindset Podcast

The More You Sweat In Practice The Less You Bleed In Battle This is a quote that stood to me since I started doing muay thay and I believe this is so true I decided to make a video about it. Think about it: How many people only like to do the minimum that is expected from them? You might even found yourself trapped in this situation. I say that because I was there. During a big part of my life, I did only the minimum of what was expected from me. And it took me nowhere in life. Lately I was training to run a 20 mile marathon, but, instead, I pushed myself further and ran 26.2 miles. And this is the mindset you need to be able to cultivate. In today's video, I'm going to talk about how you need to develop the "go the extra mile mindset" and how it greatly benefits you in terms of success, goal achievement and more! Ep 8#8 The Rise Of Superman (Book Review) - Bulldog Mindset Podcast

The Rise Of Superman (Book Review) Entering a flow state is been a topic of real interest to me lately. I've been reading a lot about flow state lately and this book basically started it all. Here is the book description, extracted from Amazon: "A razor-sharp analysis of how record-breaking exploits in extreme sport are redefining the limits of being human. Right now, more people are risking their lives for their sports then ever before in history. As Thomas Pynchon once put it in Gravity's Rainbow, 'it is not often that Death is told so clearly to f@%* off'. Over the past three decades, the bounds of the possible in action and adventure sports - from sky-diving to motocross to surfing and beyond - have been pushed farther and faster. A generation's worth of iconoclastic misfits have rewritten the rules of the feasible; not just raising the bar, but obliterating it altogether. Along the way, they have become a force pushing evolution relentlessly onward. In a thrilling narrative that draws on biology, psychology, and philosophy, Steven Kotler asks why, at the tail end of the 20th century and the early portion of the 21st, are we seeing such a multi-sport assault on reality? Did we somehow slip through a wormhole to another universe where gravity is optional and common sense obsolete? And where - if anywhere - do our actual limits lie?" Ep 7#7 How To Manage Deep Work & Social Life - Bulldog Mindset Podcast

How To Manage Deep Work & Social Life Cal Newport wrote about deep work and presented such a wonderful concept that it's definitely worth sharing. Deep work could be understood by "the ability to focus without distraction on a cognitively demanding task. It's a skill that allows you to quickly master complicated information and produce better results in less time. Deep work will make you better at what you do and provide the sense of true fulfillment that comes from craftsmanship. In short, deep work is like a super power in our increasingly competitive twenty-first century economy. And yet, most people have lost the ability to go deep-spending their days instead in a frantic blur of e-mail and social media, not even realizing there's a better way." However, for some people, deep work means giving up your whole life in order to... just work. As a previous author, I recognize the importance of developing soft skills as part of your personal development journey. Building technical skills and just focusing on work will not make you someone to be proud of. You'll need more. In today's video I'm going to share why balancing deep work and social life is important and how you can mix both of them to achieve your full potential. Ep 6#6 How To Enter The Flow State (And FULL FOCUS) In Your Life - Bulldog Mindset Podcast

E

How To Enter The Flow State (And FULL FOCUS) In Your Life Lots of people nowadays seem to be reporting about a certain "flow state". They call it a flow state because, in that, state, time seems to slow down, your sense perceptions are heightened, time seems to slow down, your sense perceptions are heightened... And you're fully focused. Needless to say, this is the state that most people aim to achieve in terms of work: the more focused you are (and the more you're able to maintain yourself into this flow state), the more productive you become. While there are countless descriptions of how the flow state affects your productivity, overall, there is few practical advice on how one can enter the flow state. What do you need to do in order to access flow state? Meditation? Search for meaning? In today's video, I'm going to show you how you can enter the flow state, become more productive, and produce more quality work than you've ever imagined before. Ep 5#5 How To Learn FASTER: One Simple Step To Learn Things Quickly - Bulldog Mindset Podcast

E

How To Learn FASTER: One Simple Step To Learn Things Quickly How to learn new things faster? Have you ever wondered? Most people seem to follow the same process when it comes to learning. They figure out a topic they are interested in and, then, they start gathering all the information they possibly can: books, courses, tutorials. And they keep watching them. I was the author of many courses for Pluralsight and I've received a lot of emails from programmers and software developers telling me that they have been reading lots of books and courses and asking me "Ok, so... When do I start?". Thing is: knowledge without action is nothing. This is the number one mistake I see people making in terms of learning things quickly and faster. They spend too much time with the theory behind it and never actually get to implement and test the things they've been studying. This is exactly what I wanted to talk about in this video. How to learn things faster? How can possibly one step change the way we learn things? This is the exactly I've used to learn more than 23 programming languages so I could teach others. Instead of wasting too much time in learning all you possibly can at first so that you could start putting things into practice, change how you do things. Just start. Just do it, even if you have no idea of what you are doing. Only after starting, you can start searching for books and tutorials. This will drastically improve the way you learn things. Wanna know how you can learn things faster and how this simple tweak in your learning process can improve your knowledge retention? Watch this video and find out! Ep 4#4 How To Plan Your Day Effectively & Get Things DONE! (Kanban Flow) - Bulldog Mindset Podcast

E

How To Plan Your Day & Get Things DONE! (Kanban Flow) Most people ask me about how I plan my day and how I'm able to be so productive and keep nurturing the bulldog mindset. The thing is: planning your day and week will only bring you amazing benefits and increase your productivity. I've seen my productivity launch once I started doing that, for like 5 years from now. And I haven't stopped doing that since. I use a tool called Kanban Flow. This is a tool that is similar to what Trello is, but, in my opinion, this is far better, mostly because it has an embedded Pomodoro timer that tracks down your every move and how productive you are. The tool is structured similar to Trello's, but there are a few nuances. For example, you can color code specific tasks and organize them by time. And this is exactly what I do. In order to increase my productivity, I organize all the stuff I need to do by how much time it will take... For 1 Pomodoro I set as yellow, for 2 Pomodori I set as green and so on... By doing that I get a clear view on what needs to be done and how much time it will take. In this video, I'll take you through my entire process of productivity and how I manage to do so many things during my life: basically the secret to my success right now. #3 How To Avoid Distractions: How To Focus & Concentrate - Bulldog Mindset Podcast

E

How To Avoid Distractions: How To Focus & Concentrate Have you ever felt distracted in your life? Lately, do you feel like you could do better but you can't seem to focus or concentrate? I understand that you might not like this video because this is not the usual "don't check your phone" or "install an app to block Facebook" type of video... But what you really have to keep in mind is the core behind all of this. While those key concepts of "don't check your phone" or "don't open Facebook" are good, you still have to have a clear foundation in place if you want to succeed. I'm talking about goals. Basically, goal setting. How many times in life do we end up in a completely different way than the one we set ourselves to achieve in the first place? It happens all the time and it happens to all of us. I'm still in Barcelona and, while I'm fasting, I was walking my way home and looking at every Burger Kind I was passing by. Soon I realized that, in order to keep my goal, I couldn't keep doing it. If you really want to keep focused and avoid distractions, you need to set clear goals... But most importantly, you need to be able to DON`T WASTE YOUR ENERGY in things you're not going to commit to. In this video I'll share with you some great and lesser-known techniques if you really want to avoid distractions and commit to your goals. You need to understand that if you don't set up a good foundation, then, it doesn't make sense to keep following most of the advice you read on productivity blogs.

Ep 2#2 How To Become LITERALLY Anything You Want - Bulldog Mindset Podcast

E

How To Become LITERALLY Anything You Want! (Mindset Technique) Recently, there was a really good topic in the new Simple Programmer membership community which I couldn't ignore. If you don't know what I'm talking about, Simple Programmer just launched a new membership forum which top notch developers over there. if you're serious about advancing your career as a developer, you should definitely check that out. Links on description. Anyway, on this membership website, someone asked what is the best way to cultivate a good mindset. According to him, he can't put into practice the techniques that he needs. Once he starts doing visualizations, he often stops and is not able to keep going. He feels stuck and he does not know how to advance and become, what he calls, an advanced programmer. Well... Things is. Mindset is just a name for something. You can't waste your precious time with something that isn't working for you. In this video we'll discuss how you can put mindset concepts into practice, and make use of the "act as if" technique. Ep 1#1 Don't Simplify Things (Wait... Simple Programmer?) - Bulldog Mindset Podcast

E

Don't Simplify Things! (Wait... SIMPLE Programmer?) How many times have we searched for stuff that would benefit things for us? How many times have you decided that you wanted to go through the easy route? I tend to say that people like to chose the "easy" over the "hard". And sometimes, it might be the smartest choice to make. Why would we chose something that would make us suffer if we can chose the one that would make us feel pleasure and still achieve what we really want? Thing is: not always the easiest choice is the right choice. Not always we will grow as a person if we choose the easy route. it might seem counter intuitive, but it's the truth. In today's video I'm going to show you WHY you should not choose the easy path and try to simplify things. There is a great benefit in chosing the hard path.
