This this episode of "The Nick & Nolan Show", Bruce flies solo and reflects on the silver linings for the Bills 2019 season and the Texans game in particular. Billieve: Heartbreak in Houston
On a special playoff edition of Billieve, host John Boccacino breaks down how the Buffalo Bills' season came to a disappointing end thanks to a 22-19 overtime loss to the Houston Texans in a dramatic Wild Card game. Among the topics covered: Boccacino recaps a game the Bills should have won -- where the offense was clicking in the first half but ultimately settled for too many field goals instead of touchdowns. We give credit to Leslie Frazier's defense, which dominated in the opening half and applied consistent pressure on Deshaun Watson, who ultimately rebounded in the second half to rescue the Texans from a 16-point deficit; there was plenty of good (and a lot of head-scratching bad plays) from Josh Allen; why did Brian Daboll go away from Devin Singletary in crunch time? We also address the controversy involving the second half opening kickoff; analyze the (bogus) blindside block call in overtime that cost the Bills a shot at a game-winning field goal, and more on the latest episode of Billieve! EWe recap the Buffalo Bills' playoff loss to the Houston Texans, 22-19. Billieve: Previewing Jets, Wild Card Round and 2020 Schedule
On the latest episode of Billieve, host John Boccacino and co-host Jamie D'Amico break down the Buffalo Bills' regular-season finale vs. the New York Jets, a game that has little meaning to the Bills outside of getting the team ready for its playoff game the following week. The biggest questions for Week 17: how much will Buffalo's starters see the field against the Jets? Will Sean McDermott rest his starters, or will he use the game as a tune-up for the playoffs? Is this the week tackle Ty Neskhe returns following his five-week absence with an ankle injury? What would a Bills offense led by Matt Barkley look like when going up against a Jets' defense that boasts a strong secondary? On the other side, we analyze a Jets offense that is banged up along the offensive line; discuss how Sam Darnold has made strides in his second year in the league; and give our predictions for what is sure to be a low-scoring game. We also give a quick preview of the Bills' likely opponent in the Wild Card round, the Houston Texans; and take a look at Buffalo's 2020 schedule, which features tough matchups with the NFC and AFC West divisions. This week, we discuss the Buffalo Bills' loss to the New England Patriots, if resting starters in Week 17 is a good idea and who might sit, preparing for the postseason game, Shaq Lawson's future and much more. Billieve: Bills Can't Dethrone Pats in Playoff-Type Game
Host John Boccacino and co-host Jamie D'Amico break down the Buffalo Bills' tough 24-17 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 16. Before we get to the good, the bad, and the ugly from another loss to the Evil Empire, we wanted to state that while there were many things to like from this playoff-type game in Foxborough, there's no such thing as a moral victory with this year's Buffalo Bills, who if they want to take that next step need to find a way to pull out a win. Among the topics discussed: Josh Allen and the offense struggled mightily in the first half, but rebounded with a solid second-half performance; Allen delivered two of the best throws of his young career to keep the Bills in this one; Buffalo lost the battle in the trenches on both sides of the ball, and the Bills were pushed around by the physical Patriots, who never allowed Buffalo to establish its run game while employing their own power football mentality on offense. The Bills inability to get off the field proved costly as New England consistently went on long drives that chewed up the clock; WR Cole Beasley enjoyed another solid game for the Bills, who despite being outplayed had a chance to tie the game late. What does this game mean moving forward for the Bills? Find out on the latest episode of Billieve! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

CTW: Bills lose heartbreaker & division to Patriots
EWe recap the Buffalo Bills' loss to the New England Patriots, 24-17, thus solidifying the Patriots' win of the AFC East division. Josh Allen overthrows plenty of WRs, the defense and Leslie Frazier get out-coached, will Tom Brady ever be called for intentional grounding, why couldn't the Bills stop Julian Edelman, the refs played a factor (again) in this game, & much more! We also discuss the important question-- should the Bills sit all of their starters in Week 17? We announce the winner of the signed Tremaine Edmunds jersey, announce the new giveaway, and we discuss our general thoughts on the game, stats of the game, plays of the game (Sweet Sassy Molassy!), who goes on our Wall of Fame and who goes on the Wall of Shame (and turn to Twitter for some great reaction from our followers). Billieve: Can Buffalo Win in Foxborough?
Host John Boccacino and co-host Jamie D'Amico break down the Buffalo Bills (10-4) huge Week 16 clash vs. the New England Patriots (11-3). The Bills still have an outside chance at winning the AFC East championship. Among the topics discussed: how big of a difference will it make to Buffalo's offense having rookie RB Devin Singletary (who missed the first meeting between these teams) for Saturday's showdown? The Patriots are sure to rely on Cover 0 blitzing schemes to try and confuse Josh Allen. Has he learned from his nightmare three-interception performance from Week 4? Can Cole Beasley be the safety blanket for Allen as the slot receiver? Can Buffalo take advantage of one of the Patriots' few defensive vulnerabilities by running the ball effectively? Conversely, is this the week when the Bills make a statement by knocking off the reigning Super Bowl champions? Can Buffalo apply enough pressure to make future Hall of Fame QB Tom Brady uncomfortable in the pocket? The guys do "The Cody Ford Check-in" Josh Allen had a modest stat line. Does that mean he had a modest result? John Brown crosses 1000 yards while Cole Beasley has more drops. Is it just bad luck? Billieve: Bills Clinch Playoff Berth + Pro Bowl Snubs
Host John Boccacino is joined by co-host Jamie D'Amico to recap the Buffalo Bills' playoff-clinching win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 15. Thanks to a dominant defensive performance (led by Tre'Davious White's two interceptions) and more fourth-quarter heroics from Josh Allen, the Bills earned a 17-10 win and secured their second playoff berth in the last three years. Our podcasters discuss how the Bills earned another prime-time victory, revel in the tremendous effort put forth by Tre'Davious White, Tremaine Edmunds, Jordan Phillips and the Bills defense, celebrate a 1,000-yard season from WR John Brown, and celebrate what this win means for Bills Mafia. Boccacino and D'Amico also address the lack of Pro Bowlers from Buffalo, which at 10-4 landed the same number of honorees (Tre White) as the Cincinnati Bengals, Denver Broncos, Jacksonville Jaguars, Detroit Lions, and the New York Jets, teams that have gone a combined 19-50-1. CTW: Bills are playoff-bound after defeating the Steelers, 17-10
EWe recap the Buffalo Bills' win over the Steelers in Pittsburgh to clinch a playoff spot in the AFC and get to 10-4 on the season on Sunday Night Football.. The defense again played lights out and took away the ball from Devlin "Duck" Hodges, including two picks from Tre'Davious White (of Tre White Goalie Academy Fame). Josh Allen did enough in key situations to win the game, despite his receivers having more rough drops this week. We have a Tyler Kroft sighting. Billieve: Bills Going Duck Hunting in Search of Playoff Berth
Host John Boccacino is joined by co-host Jamie D'Amico to break down the Buffalo Bills (9-4) trip to face the Pittsburgh Steelers (8-5) on Sunday Night Football. Among the topics discussed: by now, the rest of the league knows the key to containing Josh Allen is to bring the pressure with a Cover-0 blitz scheme, which features blitzing safeties and more pass rushers than there are blockers. Allen will have another chance to show how well he can handle the pressure vs. T.J. Watt and a top-five Steelers' defense. Our podcasters expect more draws and wheel route passes to rookie Devin Singletary, more slant passes to Cole Beasley, and more deep and in routes to John Brown and Robert Foster. We discuss the health of the offensive line and the massive challenge facing rookie Cody Ford against Watt, who has 12.5 sacks this year for a Steelers defense that leads the league in sacks, QB hits, and takeaways. We also address what Buffalo needs to do to contain undrafted rookie QB Duck Hodges, how the Bills can scheme for RBs James Conner and Jaylen Samuels, what role Tremaine Edmunds will play, and the importance of Ed Oliver and Jerry Hughes getting after Hodges with the pass rush. Billieve: What to Make of Buffalo's Loss to the Ravens
Host John Boccacino is joined by co-host Jamie D'Amico to recap the Buffalo Bills 24-17 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 14. Among the topics discussed: the Bills had a chance to make a statement against the league's front-running MVP candidate (Lamar Jackson) and the high-flying Ravens offense. While the defense was phenomenal (outside of one broken coverage play that led to a long touchdown), the offense couldn't keep up; the offensive line struggled mightily in pass blocking against the Ravens; Josh Allen once again underwhelmed in his performance when under pressure, although he wasn't helped by drops from Dawson Knox, Cole Beasley and others; once again, Brian Daboll showed a tendency to dial up the deep ball vs. Baltimore with little success to show for it; Allen was beaten up by a physical Ravens defense; rookie Devin Singletary continued his impressive rookie season, averaging more than five yards per rush; Leslie Frazier's defense did an outstanding job containing Baltimore's offense, limiting the Ravens to 257 yards of total offense; linebackers Tremaine Edmunds and Lorenzo Alexander were all over the field and enjoyed terrific games vs. Baltimore. The bottom line: the Bills need to clean up a few items (the drops and poor pass protection chief among them) but Buffalo fans should feel good knowing the Bills had a chance to steal this game Sunday.
