About 5,920 ft down and we arrive at the deepest part of the 227-mile-long Grand Canyon. Its average depth is 5,282 ft. The average depth of the oceanic crust is almost 20,000 ft. This is also the depth of the deepest known microbes. They were found in rocks below China's Songliao Basin. -The winner in the category of the deepest artificial hole on Earth is Z44-Chayvo Oil and Gas Well. The Sahara wasn’t always the endless sandscape we know today—it used to be lush and green! 🌿 Around 6,000 to 7,000 years ago, it was covered in grasslands, rivers, and even lakes, supporting animals like elephants and hippos. Scientists say the shift happened because of changes in the Earth’s orbit, which messed with the monsoon rains that kept the region fertile. As the rains moved south, the Sahara dried up, turning into the desert we see now. But what’s really wild is that this cycle of greening and desertification has happened multiple times over millions of years. The Shuai gu points are situated 2-3 cm from the beginning of the hairline in the temple area. Feel a small dimple to find this point. Pressure applied to this area relieves pain in the temporal region and eye fatigue. The last ones are He Gu points. These symmetrical points are located on the back of the hand between the thumb and forefinger. Pressure applied to this area also relieves back pain, toothache, and tension in the neck muscles. You have a chance to survive a plane accident if you follow certain important rules. Your chances of dying in a plane crash are about one in 11,000,000, but it’s better to be prepared anyway. Not all plane accidents are fatal. Sometimes the aircraft can lose altitude, slide off the runway, or get into extreme turbulence without any passengers dying or even getting injured. The US National Transportation Safety Board study of past commercial aircraft accidents and calculated there’s a 95% survival rate on those. If you have a choice when buying tickets, choose larger planes and pick the right seat. An aisle seat within a five-row distance from the exit row in the back of the plane is the safest option. You’ll need less time to escape from it. Don’t dress to impress as you’re getting ready to get on board – dress to survive instead. Put on comfy jeans and sports shoes. Wear 100% organic cotton or wool. Those material don’t melt, unlike the synthetic fabrics. Flight crash statistics show that around 80% of all crashes happen during the first three minutes after takeoff and the last eight minutes before landing. So, it’s critically important that you stay focused and alert during those time intervals. When the plane is making an emergency landing, the crew will ask you to brace for impact. If there is a seat in front of you, cross your hands on it and place your forehead on top of the hands to protect your head from injuries.
