Episode 114: Real Estate Investing When You're Under The Age of 25 with Austin Yeh
Here’s What You’ll Learn in our Interview with Austin: Picking an investor-focused Realtor Getting over limiting beliefs Document things on social media Managing properties at a distance And much, much more! Austin Yeh is a 24 year old professional real estate investor from Toronto, Ontario who started exploring the world of real estate investing after reading the classic book, “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki. At the age of 23, he purchased his first property in Windsor, Ontario without having the right systems, teams, knowledge, or education in place. Putting his entire life savings in the investment, as well as borrowing money from his mother, father, and girlfriend, made his first real estate investment an extremely stressful experience. Although the deal was still profitable, Austin learned from the mistakes he made in his first investment and decided to spend hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars building his real estate IQ through attending networking events, seminars, and hiring a full-time real estate coach. Now exactly, 17 months later after reading "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", Austin has scaled to 15 properties, most of which are in Windsor, all while working a full-time finance job in Downtown Toronto. This was done through leveraging the BRRRR strategy and joint ventureship while investing long-distance. Contact Austin: Instagram: @austinyeh6
