'Ik wil dichter zijn, dichter bij mezelf, maar ook dichter bij jou', klinken de poëtische woorden van Gershwin Bonevacia, stadsdichter van Amsterdam. Zijn opkomst is stormachtig te noemen, maar ging door zijn dyslexie niet vanzelf. Toch heeft het worstelen met woorden hem tot vindingrijke woordkunstenaar gemaakt. Aan de hand van muziek spreekt hij met Johan Fretz.
