After moving on to 'Soloist' at the world famous Moulin Rouge, she then followed her dreams of Musical Theatre and swapped bijoux for claws in Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's long-running musical CATS in London’s West End. Rachel went on to thrill crowds with her series of sell-out one-woman shows throughout Los Angeles and Las Vegas and recently back home at Cardiff’s WMC. As a public speaker Rachel enjoys sharing tales of her dancer’s life in her talks “Parisien High Kicks”! She also runs popular dance classes for 50s+ and believes, “It’s never too late to Dance”. We saw several shows, Hannah had auditions at the Lido and Moulin Rougue, we had a backstage tour of the Lido and had special meet ups with Lido dancers and management that I’ve had the privilege of interviewing for Bluebells Forever Podcast. Sonia Rachline, A writer for Paris Vogue, was approached by the Lido to write a book honoring the 75th anniversary of the Lido. Sonia lived her entire life in Paris and had never been in the Lido. While visiting this beautiful, iconic theater and seeing photos, videos, interviewing those involved from dancer, stage tech, costumes, culinary artist and more, she fell deeply in love with Lido and it’s beautiful history. She also had listened to every episode of Bluebells Forever Podcast to hear first hand stories of guests we have had the honoring of having on the podcast. She joins us in our grief of this beautiful theater ending its prevention of the Bluebells.
