Biggest Instigator In this episode Bill is joined by Kevin, Mark Hillman and Matt Reis. Matt is a Cowboy and this was taped before the Monday Night game. Bill talked about Suzanne Somers being fired from Three’s Company and how we tell people to stand up for themselves, have a back bone, but, when they do we push them down or cast them off. However, it turns out Suzanne did extremely well in business with the thigh master and cosmetics! Mark went to see the Eras Tour Movie – Taylor Swift’s new concert movie over the weekend, Bill asked if he went alone and worried Mark may be deemed a pedophile if he did attend alone. Mark had an age appropriate date! Bill read a review and Mark agreed, the concert film is spectacular. Greg Connors joins with his take on the Bills mere victory over the Giants and he has concern with one person in the Bills organization. Bill was impressed with how Pete Davidson addressed the horrors in Israel and Gaza in his opening monologue on SNL. Mark said he likes Pete and Bill wonders if that is because of all the beautiful, famous women Pete has dated. Bill plays a news story about a Pastor who taken to court for giving a woman he met on Facebook herpes. The jury awarded the woman over $2 million because they believe the Pastor knew he was infected and had unprotected sex with the woman without diclosing he had herpes. Let that serve as a warning. Mark tells Bill that a woman told Mark she thinks Bill is attractive, Bill somehow flips this conversation and Mark ends up referring to Bill as the “Biggest Instigator!” Bill asks if anyone has been scolded or disciplined as an adult by their parent? A Real Pirate Bill opens with sad news that Suzanne Somers passed away Sunday morning, a day shy of her 77th birthday. She had lived with cancer for over 50 years! Bill remembers a story of his Uncle having had coffee with her. Dan says she is the reason we have the phrase phone it, learn why in this episode. Bill thinks the Paul’s, Jake and Logan, are good for boxing! Kevin argues that Logan Paul has not fought a real boxer only guys focused on other fighting disciplines, but Bill thinks that Logan is putting eyes on boxing and that is good for the sport! Bill watched Bachelor in Paradise because he read that a woman may have to leave “Paradise” because she has not had a bowel movement in 9 days. Bill said he feels embarrassed for this woman, because she got on national TV and people will know her for a “poop baby!” Bill asks if the guys know anyone who could not have a bowel movement at work? Dan said his Dad would leave parties to go home and use the bathroom, Kevin says he does the same thing because he is courteous and does not want to blow up a friend’s bathroom! Bill talks about a story from the Times of Wayne County about a dangerous dog that has attacked two people in a trailer park and how hard it seems to be to get the dog deemed dangerous. Bill wonders why it is harder today to evict people, fire people and have a dog deemed dangerous? This sets Danny off! Both Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift popped up on SNL this weekend, Bill plays some of the bit with Kelce. Kevin brings up the hilarious SNL Weekend update piece where Keenan Thompson parodies Deion Sanders University of Colorado Football Head Coach. Keenan Thompson is the longest cast member ever on SNL. The Rolling Stones release their first album of original music in almost 20 years this coming Friday, October 20th. Bill plays audio from the Rolling Stones interview on CBS’s Sunday Morning show. Some people thought Mick Jagger was callous while talking about the passing of Charlie Watts, Kevin and Dan disagree. There are some unmistakable examples of bullying, but there is a debate as to where the line is for bullying versus playful teasing. Bill brings up some cases of adult bullying including a Florida woman who recently smeared dog feces on an elderly neighbors face and man who is accused of stalking a woman from a small airplane. The Buffalo Bills were out of their element in London resulting in a 25-20 loss to the AFC’s Jacksonville Jaguars. Bill taped his conversation with Greg Connors from Connors and Ferris who was in London for the game and played back highlights. You will learn why the turf that may have aided in a few Bills players injuries was not the grass that soccer is played on in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, did the late week arrival in London hurt the Buffalo Bills and who should carry the majority of blame for this loss. Bill says that the Golden Bachelor is actually pretty good and that America thinks horny old people are funny! Bill plays a recent news story about a 77 year-old man in the famed Villages in Florida who was arrested for possessing over 100 thousand off label Viagra pills he planned to sell. Bill thought there had to be more to this man than just Viagra pills, why are the feds worked up about that, and you will not be disappointed. Bill watched the Beckham docu-series on Netflix and was surprised by a few things including the fact that David endured insane hatred after England lost the World Cup final match! The guys touch on what happened in the Gaza Strip and Dan believes when the global economy is down wars are created. Bill tells about an arrest that made it to the Times of Wayne County about a wife and her friend entering her husband’s girlfriend’s house and refusing to leave. Bill wonders how the wife was able to talk a friend into being the wing person on this adventure, why didn’t the friend try to talk her out of it! Bombs Away - Bill tells Dan we’ll soon be hearing Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas! Dan teaches Bill about the All I Want for Christmas first out contest. Bill tells Dan about an article he read that in 1995 Mariah Carey co-wrote and recorded an alternative rock album, the story is wild and the album does exist with some very big modifications, Bill plays a few songs from the album. Bill follows up with Victoria who was arrested for assaulting a Walmart employee. You may remember when Bill called her a few weeks ago after reading about Victoria in the Times of Wayne County, she said that the paper did not give the correct story, Victoria said she slapped the employee across the face with a bag of rice! Victoria tells Bill and Dan what her punishment is and more 315 views. Bill opens the show saying how surprised he is that Kevin decided to join the pod on the day he said his final good bye to his mom. Bill plays a voicemail Racin’ Randy left him upset that Watkins Glen’s NASCAR Race will be mid-September next year! The voicemail is hysterical and Randy is very upset! Bill calls Randy for further comment and Randy is at the hospital visiting his Mother who just had knee replacement surgery, Mrs. Salerno, Randy’s Mom is a big fan of the pod and gets on the phone with the guys. Bill talks about attending Kevin’s mom’s calling hours and how he was very dependent on GPS to help get him from a meeting to the funeral home. Bill said we trust GPS more than ourselves and sometimes we shouldn’t listen to outside sources but, our inner guidance system, using an example of a meeting that did not go as planned, but instead of ending it, Bill followed his inner guidance and now there may be a documentary coming! Comedian Doug Phelps is also a diver for Uber, Bill asked if rubber necking from east bound lanes to an accident in west bound lanes is common? Doug said it is and Bill thinks if we can’t handle a distraction going the opposite direction with a barrier in between how can we believe we can handle a phone while driving? Bill starts by talking about seeing a guy do what Bill says is the ballsiest thing he has seen in a while. Bill and Dan debate should Bill have called the cops, Bill uses what has been referred to as Bill logic as to why he did not call the police. Clay Killian, co-owner and head brewer at Copper Leaf Brewing Company in Pittsford joins the pod. Clay reached out to Bill as a listener and Bill heard beer, so the door was opened. Clay has the guys taste several Copper Leaf’s beers including IPA’s and sours. Bill went down a rabbit hole on drones and has some concerns regarding domestic terrorism. He plays news stories about a man in New Jersey who used a drone to drop dye packs in pools to turn the pools neon green throughout the summer before he was caught. Another news story involves a done dropping things on homeless people, wait ‘till you hear what the “things” were that were dropped. Bill believes this is the work of teenage boys. Clay is a Bills season ticket holder and is surprised that tickets near him are going for over 2 grand a ticket for this Sunday’s Bills Dolphins game in Buffalo! Bill brings up an article in the Athletic about how the Buffalo Bills are treating their alumni players and how the former players are pushing back. Kevin seems to have some off the record information about this, but he will not share. Matt loves the Dallas Cowboys, so of course Bill asks about their loss yesterday to the lowly Arizona Cardinals, is it concerning or a wake up call of sorts? Matt isn’t sure, but leans toward wake up call of sorts. Taylor Swift being at the Kansas City Chiefs game and clearly with Travis Kelce and his family made headlines beyond the NFL! The writers guild seems to have found an agreement that will end their strike, Alex Coccia who is a freelance producer joins from Colombia where she is filming MTV’s Teen Mom Family Reunion with details. Will the deal hold? Mark claims to not have watched much of the Teen Mom MTV series, but has a lot of questions about specific MTV Teen Mom characters that says otherwise! Matt and Mark tell Bill about the time they were interviewed to be on a restaurant reality show and why it did not happen. Dan said the room was great and he loved that since it is a racino he could see all the scores and highlights like Aaron Judge hitting three home runs. Bill said he just shut it down this weekend and did almost nothing! Bill said he is starting to question his mental health, he is getting a bit burnt out. An unresponsive man was found in a car in the East End Garage in Rochester, Bill wonders how long people may have walked by thinking the guy was taking a nap! Dan said he would knock on the window to see if the person was OK or not. Greg Connors of Connors and Ferris comes on to talk abut the Bills win and their next opponent, the Miami Dolphins who put up 70 points against the Broncos! Bill talks more about his mental health and his underlying anger. He talks about a very personal story and how deeply it has affected him and how those close to him truly have no idea. A woman made some NCAA football history this weekend, Haley Van Voorhis, a Division III safety, became the first woman non-kicker to play in a NCAA football game. Bill says this is how we lose places because when people stop going places due to fear, places close and we lose. Bill talked about a man dressed as a "Cowboy" with a toy gun strapped to his leg walked into a Seneca Falls WalMart causing panic and evacuation! Bill thinks the"Cowboy" should have to pay for the first repsonders who showed up, because there is no way the "Cowboy" didn't know he would induce a panic and he should also have to snag the carts people leave strewn throughout the WalMart parking lot. Mark tells us about a movie he watched on Tubi called Butt Boy and how he could not turn it off despite being extremely bizarre, it had a score of 71% on Rotten Tomatoes. Matt tlaked about his time as a high school football coach and Bill said back in his day the coaches grabbed you by the face mask and physically kicked lineman in the butt! Then Bill plays a news story about a coach being arrested during a high school game in Georgia that was broadcast on TV after cameras caught the coach punching the player in the stomach! The Buffalo Bills won their first pre-season game with a different Allen under center for a few series. Bill wonders how nervous Damar Hamlin was being in his first live action game setting since suffering cardiac arrest on the field. Damar played well, but he had to be scared.
