Hi friend,
Most people don’t spend as much time thinking about you as you think. They’re too busy worrying about themselves. Sometimes it’s selfish, usually it’s just survival.
You and I are no exception, and it often holds us back. We can differentiate ourselves by focusing out instead of in - while others are busy protecting themselves, we can be busy making progress.
By shifting your perspective from “I” to “You,” you will see what others don’t, giving you an advantage in learning, forming relationships, and gaining wisdom.
Let’s not forget everyone wants to be heard and understood. If we give them that chance, we all get better.
