The chains and the mask come off for this episode as Chris G (Rain Man, Broadway Melody) and Joey R(Cuckoo's Nest, Rebecca, Going My Way) rejoin the podcast to dive deep into the dark world of Hannibal Lector. There are no shortage of bad impressions, as is tradition... and the team really sinks their teeth into why this movie isn't just you run of the mill cop drama, and why it deserves to hang with the all time greats. EBPC returns to discuss 1944s highest grossing movie and Oscar Best Picture winner GOING MY WAY. In a long form discussion of this winner of 7 Oscars, we take a look Bing Crosby's award winning performance and discuss his impressive career. We also get to the important issues at hand such as, what animal you would most like to live your life as? And we desperately grasp for straws in attempt to connect this movie to the Batman universe. Swing on a star with us for a couple hours even though Joey R may or may not sound like a storm trooper due to social distancing! Episode 8: The Broadway Melody: A Gangs of Goodfellas Defense
EIn possibly our most entertaining and explosive episode yet, three previous cohosts return for an all out movie battle royal. While we do spend sometime taking a look at one of the lowest rated Best Picture winners, don’t be scared away if you’ve never seen “The Broadway Melody”. In this episode we have a well balanced debate revisiting some of the anti-Goodfellas/Gangs of New York comments made in the BPC pilot episode, as all sides are heard from.
