Ep 23: Cavalcade and Season One Rankings Revisited

Half way through season two and an episode before our 1 year anniversary, Joey R(Cuckoos Nest, Sound of Music, Silence of the Lambs) and OZ (Birdman)rejoin BPC for a special TWO PART episode this week where we discuss the 1933 Best Picture winner CAVALCADE and also revisit our "First Fifteen" Best Picture rankings from season one. In part one we do an old school deep dive into what many consider to be the worst best picture winner. We ponder, "Is Cavalcade really that bad?", pin it up against the BPC whipping post: A BROADWAY MELODY, and discuss in depth why this movie is remembered so poorly. In Part II of this episode we have a very succinct discussion as we relive season one's "First 15 episode" and cohost OZ gives his personal ranking of the 15 movies covered in season one. We also reveal the BPC crew's "Composite" rankings and match them up with how the movies rank according to IMDB. We cover a lot of ground and have a great discussion in this one.
