#BBCRace50: Helen Tse from Sweet Mandarin Restaurant on her family history
50 years ago this week the Race Relations Act came into force. Lily Kwok left behind her family in China to come over to the UK after the Second World War. She was initially working as a maid but went on to open one of Manchester's first Chinese restaurants. Her granddaughter Helen Tse who now co-runs the Sweet Mandarin restaurant says Lily was an amazing woman. #BBCRace50
