Jesus has broken open the 7th and final seal. Our prayers and the intercession of Jesus has been mingled together before the throne and has released the angels and their trumpets to sound in the earth. In chapter 9, the locusts, which symbolize the religious spirit, are released to torment. Following the tormenting locusts, God releases His innumerable army to defeat the religious spirit, set people free and bring the message of the kingdom throughout the earth. Revelation Chapter 8 reveals the breaking of the 7th seal from the scroll and the follows the 7 stages of God's dealings within His bride, the Church body. GIVE HERE - https://awake.church/give

As the 5th angel is released to mark the bond-servants of the Lord, he begins with the 144,000. As with nearly everything in this wonderful book, this number most likely represents "who" these people are more than it does a literal number of "how many." The Lamb begins breaking the seals of the scroll in heaven and four horses and their riders are released. With Revelation focused on the revealing or unveiling of Jesus, it could be that Jesus is the rider of all four horses, conquering and dealing with numerous areas of sin in order to purify and ready His bride. Jesus invites John through an open door into the throne room, the seat of power for the entire universe. In this place, John sees and attempts to describe in language, the authority, power, beauty, wonder and worship that he experiences. It is this realm of heaven where we have also been seated and invited to experience.

As Matt moves toward Revelation 4 when many believe the church is raptured out of the world, he shares the words of Jesus and talks about the importance of living an overcoming life, enduring to the end and what the return of Jesus may look like.

In this message, Matt reads the words of Jesus to the last two churches - Philadelphia & Laodicea. Jesus' personal encouragements, rebukes and promises are very personal and full of hope. As the Laodicean church speaks of our current church age, it's message is particularly relevant and important to us in this moment. The seedbed for offense is unmet expectations and complaining, and the results of being offended can be the loss of hope in Jesus. One way to remove the opportunity for offense is to cultivate a lifestyle of thankfulness. Gratefulness removes many gardens of offense and is one thing God desires of us. Offense intends to derail you from following Jesus and from being where He wants you to be. From the disciples and John the baptist, we can see how offense attempted to take them out, and nearly did.
