Acute agitation, particularly in patients with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, occurs frequently, resulting in multiple visits to the emergency department each year. This podcast will highlight a recently enacted North Dakota law requiring health plans to cover comprehensive medication management services provided by clinical pharmacists.
