We are doing another retro, expect nothing less until the new edition lays itself upon us.This week we jump over the CSM Codex and head to the warp for the Chaos Daemons retrospective, joined by the Plague Hulk himself Matt Morosoli.Matt and I have a great time discussing this book at length, what has made it such a contender in many meta's and given it depth, despite relatively constrictive detachment and army rules.Hope you love it!

Here he is, Big Willy M. Make it stick people.But this episode we cover the less spikey version of the big stompy boys, the Imperial Knights. This is an amazing albeit very solved book with so much depth we never got to see, thanks to the Freeblade Lance in most part.I hope you all enjoy the show! Willy M is an amazing guest and it was my pleasure to have him on and dive into one of my favourite books of this edition!

Back to the retrospective train and we are here with possibly my favourite codex of the edition! My only regret is i discovered it too late. But I am joined by the Reigning Defending Undisputed kind of the Art of War House, John Lennon, who crushed all opposition with said spikey robots. Hello everyone! It's that time of the quarter where gw does their thing and shifts the landscape a bit. This week I was joined by lovely Art of War team member Quinton Johnson. We dissect this slate and give it the going over. It's a good slate and a good time.

This week I get two Australian mad lads on to discuss the state of the competitive scene down under so far in 2023. Dineeth from The Normal Blokes and Sam Lemin of the brand new World of Warhammer podcast!We dive into one of the most complex and unique (of course i'd say this) meta's in the world and get some insights from a few of it's most active participants. Then we chat 10th edition and our feelings so far!

The train has no brakes on our journey to completing the retrospective series. This week we stop by THE STRONGEST (busted) CODEX of the edition (arguably) with the Tyranids.I am joined by Hive Mind wonder boy Alex MacDougall who helps me negotiate this heavily hitting dex. It has had a fair few iterations and many meta shifts and according to Alex, its death has been premature.

It's time to complete the clown half of the Aeldari Codex Retrospective!I am joined by the Clown King himeself Mike Porter to disseminate and give the retro look at this crazy as all crazy codex!We do the usual, look through all the major sections of the book and put our thoughts on them, how they were on release and how good they are now. Mike is a total gent and was an absolute pleasure to have on the show.
