SEPT. 24 POKERCAST RECAP: The World Series of Poker has added even more WSOP online events to its series that kicks off next week; PokerStars settles its suit with Kentucky, and a British casino owner pledges $1.2M to help with poker lobbying worldwide. We also have some more poker room reopenings, a new O’Mally’s Move and Michael Paul has the second of his two Hands of the Week, this time he has K-Q.

SEPT. 17 POKERCAST RECAP: Sports betting is nearly ubiquitous, World Series of Poker players can remove masks at the table, there’s a Doyle Brunson documentary on the horizon and we say goodbye to Norm MacDonald, a former High Stakes Poker host and comedian who died of cancer at the age of 61. We also complete an O’Mally’s Move and Michael Paul has the Hand of the Week with A-10.

SEPT. 3 POKERCAST RECAP: We have a new Ante Up World Champion; the World Series of Poker is requiring all players to be fully vaccinated, and there was a recent women’s poker survey that showed the top reasons why they don’t play. We have a new O’Mally’s Move and Dan England has an Omaha Hand of the Week. One production note: There will be no show next week but we will return with the Sept. 17 edition.

AUG. 27 POKERCAST RECAP: The Ante Up World Poker Championship at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Northern California is winding down, but not before some more record numbers and a fantastic main event still to come! We have news that Lon McEachern and Norman Chad will be back in the booth for this year’s WSOP, Live Casino in Maryland cancels its WPT series because of COVID and MGM Springfield is expected to bring back its poker room by the end of the year. We also complete the O’Mally’s Move and Keiran Downie has the Hand of the Week with J-9 in a $2-$5 NLHE game.

AUG. 20 POKERCAST RECAP: The Ante Up World Poker Championships at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in California are a smashing success with records being broken and great stories emerging. Also, there’s a Covid update for the WSOP and Harrah’s NOLA. Eric Seidel won his ninth WSOP bracelet and we have a new O’Mally’s Move. Matt Hayward has our Hand of the Week and it’s PLO!

AUG. 13 POKERCAST RECAP: In a very special episode, we interview Ben Erwin, Thunder Valley Casino Resort Director of Poker Operations. It’s our first interview on the show in years, and what an interview it was as we discuss the upcoming Ante Up World Championship, which begins this week! Our normal show will return next week.

AUG. 6 POKERCAST RECAP: With the Delta variant of Covid-19 brutalizing America, poker series are being postponed and health protocols are returning. What does that mean for the upcoming World Series of Poker? Also, the 2+2 Forum gets sold and a loser in a Florida home game pulls a gun and is behind bars now. We also complete O’Mally’s Move and Ken Douglas has an interesting Hand of the Week with A-Q.

JULY 30 POKERCAST RECAP: It’s soapbox time for the Ante Up hosts. Be sure to give a listen because you don’t want to miss the poker guys ranting about numerous topics this week. JULY 9 POKERCAST RECAP: The Ante Up Worlds schedule and structures are announced, as is our Ante Up Poker Auction. We also have some poker room reopening-closing news and we complete an O’Mally’s Move. Brannen Hough is back with the Hand of the Week.

JULY 2 POKERCAST RECAP: Wynn makes its $10M guarantee; Resorts World Las Vegas will have a 30-table poker room; Phil Ivey is in the NFT game now, and Veronica Brill gets nearly $28K in the Mike Postle case, but can she collect it? We also have a new O’Mally’s Move and RC has the Hand of the Week with 7-6 on no-limit hold’em poker.

JUNE 25 POKERCAST RECAP: Our website crashed last week so last week’s show was re-uploaded and that confused some of our listeners. This is this week’s show! The Ante Up Worlds are returning in August at Thunder Valley Casino Resort!
