A Conversation with Congressman Ronny Jackson | National Security Crisis — US Southern Border | The Durham Report | Foreign Adversary Risk Management (FARM) Act

Join America's Roundtable radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with U.S. Congressman Ronny Jackson who serves as a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Armed Services Committee and Agricultural Committee. Dr. Ronny Jackson was the former physician to the President of the United States — Chief Medical Advisor and Assistant to the President and Rear Admiral, United States Navy (Retired). The discussion on America's Roundtable focuses on the following: — National security threat at the southern border | The Customs and Border Protection reported in March 2023 that at least 69 non-US citizens on the FBI’s terror watchlist have been caught trying to illegally enter the US through the southern border since October 2022. — Congressman Ronny Jackson raises concerns about how the drug cartels and transnational organized crime networks are reaping huge profits from drug and human trafficking at the US southern border. — Urgency to address 90% of illegal fentanyl entering through America's porous border, with the vast majority of drugs hailing from China. — Congressman Ronny Jackson reintroduces the bipartisan, bicameral Foreign Adversary Risk Management (FARM) Act. The legislation would help protect America's agricultural industry from malign foreign investors and bolster America's supply chain by reforming the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) — the governmental body that overseas the vetting process of investment and acquisition of American companies. Congressman Ronny Jackson said, “Today, America faces numerous threats to its national security, and the agricultural industry is no exception. Our adversaries, especially the Chinese Communist Party, continue to increase their presence in America’s food industry and agricultural supply chains.” Full Bio | Congressman Ronny Jackson americasrt.com https://ileaderssummit.org/ | https://jerusalemleaderssummit.com/ America's Roundtable on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/americas-roundtable/id1518878472 Twitter: @RonnyJacksonTX @ileaderssummit @AmericasRT @NatashaSrdoc @JoelAnandUSA @supertalk America's Roundtable is co-hosted by Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy, co-founders of International Leaders Summit and the Jerusalem Leaders Summit. Join America's Roundtable radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with billionaire entrepreneur John Catsimatidis, author, "How Far do You Want to Go?" on vital issues impacting America's economy and security. John Catsimatidis is owner and CEO of the Red Apple Group, owner of 77 WABC Radio and host of The Cats Roundtable. The conversation also focuses on the high cost of energy and America's leadership on the world stage. John Catsimatidis also shares about his recent conversation with former President Donald J. Trump aired on 77 WABC radio. New York Post | Carmakers’ unsafe, un-American push to eliminate AM radio "But some automotive makers — Ford among them — want to eliminate the AM option in all gas-powered and electric 2024 models. The move isn’t only un-American — it’s just plain dumb. AM radio is undisputedly the most reliable form of communication during emergencies. And it’s not only small markets that depend on getting crucial information out via the airwaves — every major city uses AM alerts during manmade and natural disasters." — John Catsimatidis, Op-Ed | The New York Post John's dedication to family, faith and country will inspire everyone. John's story focuses on the humbling experiences of a Greek immigrant family coming to America and embracing the American Dream through a strong work ethic and sacrifices. Today, his job creation endeavors through the Red Apple Group employs thousands of our fellow Americans, from New York to Pennsylvania, Florida, and other places. americasrt.com https://ileaderssummit.org/ | https://jerusalemleaderssummit.com/ America's Roundtable on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/americas-roundtable/id1518878472 Twitter: @JCats2013 @ileaderssummit @AmericasRT @NatashaSrdoc @JoelAnandUSA @supertalk America's Roundtable is co-hosted by Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy, co-founders of International Leaders Summit and the Jerusalem Leaders Summit. Behind America's Banking Crisis: What Went Wrong? | A Conversation with Economist—Former Congressman David Brat

Join America's Roundtable Radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with former U.S. Congressman Dave Brat, economist, dean of the School of Business, Liberty University, and executive advisory board member, International Leaders Summit. This weekend's conversation will focus on the vital issues impacting America's citizen-stakeholders and the world: — The collapse of Silicon Valley Bank and The Signature Bank and its cost to America's taxpayers. — Spotlight on the Federal Reserve Bank and its adverse impact on the free market economy. — The future of regional banks in America. — Addressing the dangers of President Biden's ESG rules—"environmental, social and governance" placing retirement savings at risk. "Put simply, retirement savings will be used as leverage to force companies to reduce their carbon emissions and establish racial and gender quotas and other social justice fads completely unrelated to securing a high return on workers' lifetime savings....Terrence Keeley, a former executive at BlackRock, blew the whistle on this scam in the Wall Street Journal by noting that since 2017, when the ESG fad took hold, these funds have had an annual rate of return of 6.3% – versus 8.9% for the stock market as a whole. Investors lost 2.6% per year on their retirement funds. There goes the down payment on that retirement home in Arizona or Florida." — Stephen Moore — The China Threat. Conversation with Yaakov and Na'ama Berg, Psagot Winery, Israel | An Entrepreneurial Success Story | Returning to their Ancestral Land and Transforming the Barren Landscape into a Haven for Economic Opportunities | A Foundation for Peace in the Region

A Special Feature on Israel—The Start-Up Nation The Jewish State's Entrepreneurial Spirit Celebrating Israel's 75th Anniversary Join America's Roundtable Radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with Yaakov and Na'ama Berg, entrepreneurs and co-founders of The Psagot Winery located in the Jerusalem Mountains in Israel. This special feature will lead up to Israel's 75th anniversary to be celebrated from the evening of Tuesday, April 25 to the evening of Wednesday, April 26, 2023. In our conversation we discussed the challenges and opportunities that Israel — America's strongest ally in the Middle East faces as we reflect on its 75 years as a sovereign nation: — An entrepreneurial success story | The Psagot Winery in Judea and Samaria—the heartland of Israel. — How the Arab population gains economic opportunities, employment, and higher salaries in Jewish communities within Judea and Samaria when compared to working in the Palestinian Authority's territory. — Transforming the desert and the barren land into a land of promise through the exports of agricultural products, innovation and technology. — U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and U.S. Ambassador David Friedman's visit to Psagot Winery in Judea and Samaria and the Trump administration's leadership in reversing the Obama administration's approach towards Israeli settlements. The Psagot Winery | Psagotwines.com From the Psagot Winery | Located in the Jerusalem mountains, overlooking the primordial landscape of Israel. It all began in a 2,500 year old cave, where a message from the past was revealed to us in the form of an ancient coin where history and legacy come together. Psagot Winery and its vineyards planted deep in the rocky soil of Benjamin in Israel, is a continuation of wine production dating back thousands of years in an optimal area for its quality grapes. The winery was established in 2003 and has been growing steadily ever since. Today the winery produces over 750,000 bottles that include 15 different types of quality wines. Over 70% of these wines are exported to over 27 countries and duty-free locations around the world. The wines have entered prestigious competitions and have won awards and medals of distinction from the international community. In June 2020, Psagot Winery moved to its new location at Sha’ar Binyamin. In a beautiful stone structure built in the shape of an ancient inn the winery overlooks Wadi Kelt and the Edom Mountains. The winery is divided into two sections; the wine production plant and the impressive visiting center that includes a barrel room below where over 1,000 barrels are aged each year. Further Reading and Viewing: The Jerusalem Post | Pompeo and a settler vintner’s battle for ‘Made in Israel’ wine Excerpt: "Berg, whose family fled antisemitism in Russia, arrived in Israel in 1979 when he was three years old. He views himself as a direct descendant of the biblical Jews who once toiled the same land. “Wine is an industry most identified with its geography,” Berg said. For this reason, he used a print of an actual ancient coin he discovered in a cave near the Psagot settlement where he lives as a symbol that he stamps on all his winery’s bottles. The coin, which dates back to the Bar Kochva revolt, has the words “Freedom of Zion” written on it. He has battled for this freedom on the international stage over the issue of product labeling. He wants the words “Made in Israel,” which he prints on the labels his winery produces, to be a recognized international fact." Jerusalem Post | Can Pompeo replace annexation with a glass of Psagot wine? Excerpt: "Pompeo on behalf of the Trump administration issued the historic declarations that Israeli settlements were not inconsistent with international law. Just last month, Friedman took steps against settlement boycotts and UN Security Council Resolution 2334 condemning settlements. Friedman declared that the US would no longer make a territorial distinction between the West Bank and sovereign Israel." BBC | Pompeo makes unprecedented visits to Israeli settlement in West Bank and Golan Heights The Wall Street Journal | Pompeo Visits Israeli Settlement in First for Any Top U.S. Diplomat Excerpt from WSJ: "Mr. Pompeo’s visit to the Psagot Winery’s visitor center, on the edge of the Sha’ar Binyamin settlement, was described by the State Department as private and journalists weren’t allowed inside. Before visiting the winery, Mr. Pompeo announced that the U.S. would consider the Palestinian-led boycott, divestment and sanctions movement, known as BDS, to be anti-Semitic and would cut U.S. support to any groups or organizations participating in it. Organizers with the movement say it is a peaceful campaign aimed at pressuring Israel to change its policies toward the Palestinians." A Conversation with Governor George Allen | Advancing US State Competition | Energy Independence | US Unsustainable Debt | Convention of States for Balanced Budget Amendment | America's Role in Ukraine

Join America's Roundtable Radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with former Governor George Allen from the Commonwealth of Virginia. Our conversation is focused on the following topics: —Advancing U.S. state competition and the urgency to make America more competitive in the global arena. —Securing energy independence in America | Initiative for a modular nuclear reactor in Virginia. —The unsustainable US debt exacerbated by the growing interest rate. —A Convention of States is much closer than you think. Learn about the growing momentum for a Convention of States aimed at creating a balanced budget amendment. Listen to how many states have joined this principled initiative. “I wish it were possible to obtain a single amendment to our Constitution. I would be willing to depend on that alone for the reduction of the administration of our government to the genuine principles of its Constitution; I mean an article, taking from the Federal government the power of borrowing.” — Thomas Jefferson's statement just two years after the Constitution had been in effect, argued for a a Constitutional amendment to curtail Federal government spending. Brief Bio: At the conclusion of his term as Governor of Virginia, George Allen viewed with satisfaction the monumental reforms his administration achieved that made Virginia a national model in economic development, public safety, education accountability, and welfare reform. The Washington Post called Allen “one of the most influential governors in recent Virginia history”. The Richmond Times-Dispatch recently praised Allen’s campaign “among the most policy-driven campaigns in gubernatorial history.” Keeping the promises he made to Virginians, and working with a Democratic-controlled General Assembly, Allen successfully cut taxes by more than $600 million; instituted high academic Standards of Learning and School Performance Report Cards; made neighborhoods safer with the abolition of parole; initiated historic, pro-work welfare reforms; enacted the nation’s first Public-Private Transportation funding system; repealed or amended 71% of all regulations; reduced the size of government with greater efficiency and accountability; and grew the economy – making sure the world knew “Virginia is Open for Business”. With added revenues, Allen was able to freeze tuition rates at universities and community colleges. Allen’s administration recruited over $13 billion in new investments and created more than 300,000 net new private sector jobs. When Allen was sworn in as Governor in 1994, coal and cigarettes were Virginia’s top exports; after four years of Allen’s tireless dedication to economic-development, semiconductor chips became Virginia’s top export, leading U.S. News and World Report to dub Virginia the “Silicon Dominion”. Conversation with Senator Jim DeMint | Conservatives in the U.S. House of Representatives Prevailed in Robust Debate — For Accountability, Transparency and Fiscal Responsibility | Russia's Invasion of Ukraine

Join America's Roundtable Radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with Senator Jim DeMint who shares his insights and thoughts on key issues that impact our fellow Americans. We are reviewing the robust debate in the U.S. House of Representatives whereby Republicans had an open conversation on increasing transparency around how legislation is put together. Through Senator Jim DeMint's leadership at Conservative Partnership Institute, the organization has called for principled measures to engage the broader membership in legislating and bringing accountability back to the People's House. The conversation is also focusing on America's $31 trillion debt-ceiling being maxed out and principled solutions on how to avoid a fiscal crisis through applying prudent and common-sense measures. The discussion on America's Roundtable with Senator Jim DeMint addresses the Ukraine-Russian conflict and what that means for America's security. Questions about accountability on how US taxpayer funds and military assets are being utilized in Ukraine is raised with the importance of advancing America's policy of "peace through strength," rather than engaging in endless wars. A Conversation with Governor George Allen | Competitiveness Among US States | Law and Order with Economic Prosperity | US Miltary Readiness

Join America's Roundtable Radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy in a conversation with Governor George Allen who served the Commonwealth of Virginia for more than 20 years, as governor, in both bodies of the United States Congress, and as a delegate holding Thomas Jefferson’s seat in the Virginia General Assembly. As a former United States Senator and member of the House of Representatives, Governor George Allen shares his thoughts and ideas regarding the top priorities that the House Republican leadership ought to consider for the next two years. Governor Allen will also weigh in on the lessons learned from the 2022 midterm elections. The discussion will also highlight the importance of economic competitiveness among US states, and how America's citizens benefit from low taxes, less government regulation and greater economic liberty. Governor Allen also highlights serious concerns regarding the dangerous politicization of the United States Military, the low morale experienced within the ranks, and the urgency to rebuild the readiness of America's military. The discussion also spotlights the dangers on the U.S. southern border and the increased flow of drugs including fentanyl killing tens of thousands of young people across America. The conversation also brings to the forefront the Abraham Accords, and its importance for America, Israel and the Middle East. Brief Bio George F. Allen served the Commonwealth of Virginia for more than 20 years, as governor, in both bodies of the United States Congress, and as a delegate holding Thomas Jefferson’s seat in the Virginia General Assembly. Sworn in as governor in 1994, George Allen brought sweeping reform that made Virginia a national model in economic development, public safety, education accountability, and creative government. As a self-described “Common Sense Jeffersonian Conservative,” Allen pushed through cutting edge reform with bipartisan support in a legislature held by the opposition. Elected to the United States Senate in 2000, George Allen continued to advocate policies to make America and Virginia a leader in innovation and technology. Senator Allen was unanimously elected a member of the Senate Republican Leadership as chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee in 2002. americasrt.com https://ileaderssummit.org/ | https://jerusalemleaderssummit.com/ America's Roundtable on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/americas-roundtable/id1518878472 Twitter: @georgeallenva @ileaderssummit @AmericasRT @NatashaSrdoc @JoelAnandUSA @supertalk America's Roundtable is co-hosted by Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy, co-founders of International Leaders Summit and the Jerusalem Leaders Summit. A Conversation with Professor Steve Hanke | Analysis of U.S. Midterm Elections | Misery Index | US Miltary Aid to Ukraine — Addressing Corruption

Join America's Roundtable Radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy in a conversation with Steve H. Hanke, a top economist and leading monetarist. Dr. Steve Hanke provides an analysis of midterm elections, an update on America's economy, and raises concerns about the prolonged Ukraine - Russia conflict as the West's economic sanctions fail to bring an end to the war on the European continent. Dr. Hanke has been a strong critic of corruption in Ukraine and recent reports that he highlights raise red flags that US weapons are making its way to the black market. On America's Roundtable, principled leaders have called for greater oversight on how US taxpayer aid is being used in Ukraine and within NATO's Eastern European countries mired in corruption. Professor Hanke also discusses the Misery Index, and "why it is essential for policy-makers to have a read of their constituents’ well-being, as viewed through the lens of economic statistics." Report: Hanke’s 2021 Misery Index: Who’s Miserable and Who’s Happy? Hanke’s Annual Misery Index (HAMI). What is it — and how should we conceive of man’s well-being? The human condition lies on a vast spectrum between “miserable” and “happy.” In the economic sphere, misery tends to flow from high inflation, steep borrowing costs, and unemployment. The surefire way to mitigate that misery is through economic growth. Comparing countries’ metrics can tell us a lot about where in the world people are sad or happy. HAMI gives us the answers. My version of the misery index is the sum of the year-end unemployment, inflation, and bank-lending rates, minus the annual percentage change in real GDP per capita. Higher readings on the first three elements are “bad” and make people more miserable. These “bads” are offset by a “good” (real GDP per capita growth), which is subtracted from the sum of the bads to yield a HAMI score. Bio: Dr. Steve H. Hanke Steve H. Hanke is a professor of applied economics and founder and codirector of the Institute for Applied Economics, Global Health, and the Study of Business Enterprise at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. A Conversation with Governor Mike Huckabee

Join America's Roundtable Radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy in a conversation with Governor Mike Huckabee, former governor of Arkansas, a 2008 presidential candidate, and longtime conservative commentator on issues in culture and current events. An ordained Southern Baptist minister, Gov. Huckabee was host of the number-one rated weekend television show Huckabee on the Fox News Channel during 2008-2015, as well as host of The Huckabee Report during 2009-2015, which aired three times daily on nearly 600 radio stations across the nation. With rivers of aid pouring into Ukraine from the United States and Western Europe, it would be easy for high- and low-level crooks to skim and not be caught. By this theory, corruption is badly sapping the war effort but fortunately is being more than offset by the volume of foreign aid and the heroism of individual Ukrainians on the front lines. Certainly weird things keep happening. In July President Volodymyr Zelensky fired the prosecutor general and the leader of the domestic intelligence agency. Last week The Financial Times reported that the recently resigned central bank governor was said to have fled the country as anti-corruption investigators served “a notice of suspicion” for a senior official matching his professional description. A Conversation with Peter M. Robinson | The Fall of the Berlin Wall | President Ronald Reagan's Principled Leadership | Virtue — Essential for a Functioning Democracy

Join America's Roundtable Radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy in a conversation with Peter M. Robinson, Murdoch Distinguished Policy Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Host of Uncommon Knowledge™ — Hoover's Video Series Program and Former Special Assistant and Speechwriter to President Ronald Reagan. Peter Robinson is the Murdoch Distinguished Policy Fellow at the Hoover Institution, where he writes about business and politics, edits Hoover's quarterly journal, the Hoover Digest, and hosts Hoover's video series program, Uncommon Knowledge™. Robinson spent six years in the White House, serving from 1982 to 1983 as chief speechwriter to Vice President George Bush and from 1983 to 1988 as special assistant and speechwriter to President Ronald Reagan. He wrote the historic Berlin Wall address in which President Reagan called on General Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev to "tear down this wall!" The conversation will begin by focusing on the 33rd anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. On November 9, 1989, five days after a major peaceful protest in East Berlin which gathered half a million people, the communist rulers gave permission for gates along the Berlin Wall to be opened. The fall of Communist Eastern Europe was hastened by the principled leadership of President Ronald Reagan joined by then-UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, Pope John Paul II, Germany's Helmut Kohl, Vaclav Havel, leaders within Poland, and other countries in the Soviet block yearning for freedom. The historic day reminded the world of a speech that was delivered on June 12, 1987 by President Ronald Reagan when he shared these words: "_Behind me stands a wall that encircles the free sectors of this city, part of a vast system of barriers that divides the entire continent of Europe. . . . Standing before the Brandenburg Gate, every man is a German, separated from his fellow men. Every man is a Berliner, forced to look upon a scar. . . . As long as this gate is closed, as long as this scar of a wall is permitted to stand, it is not the German question alone that remains open, but the question of freedom for all mankind. . . . General Secretary Gorbachev, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization, come here to this gate. Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!_" —Ronald Reagan, address at the Brandenburg Gate, June 12, 1987 Topics covered on America's Roundtable: — Reflecting on the 33rd Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall. — President Ronald Reagan's principled leadership and his clear articulation of moral clarity based on timeless principles and values. —Peter Robinson shares the real story behind the speech in Berlin, how the message captured the realities on the ground during the Cold War, and the opposition by advisors opposing Reagan's challenge to Gorbachev. — The Unfinished Work in advancing freedom and the rule of law in Eastern Europe. — Brief observations of the US midterm elections and public policies in America. While representing Virginia Beach, Jason was recognized as “Legislator of the Year” in both 2018 and 2019 from the College Affordability and Public Trust for his work on transparency and affordability in higher education, as well as by the Hampton Roads Military Officers Association of America in 2018. A Conversation with Gol Kalev | Judaism 3.0: Judaism's Transformation to Zionism

Join America's Roundtable Radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy in a conversation with Gol Kalev, author of "Judaism 3.0: Judaism's Transformation to Zionism." Gol Kalev writes about Zionism, Europe and global affairs, analyzing long-term shifts and applying historical perspectives. He was an investment banker on Wall Street for nearly two decades, specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Raising, advising financial institutions in both the United States and in Europe. He is chairman of the America-Israel Friendship League Think Tank which explores issues relating to Zionism and Judaism, and he is the author of the think tank's position papers. His articles are featured on Europeandjerusalem.com. The Book: Judaism 3.0: Judaism's Transformation to Zionism For over a decade, Gol Kalev has been arguing that Judaism is in the midst of a historic transformation, and Zionism is becoming its organizing principle. He explores this idea in the AIFL Think Tank which he has been chairing since 2011, in position papers he authored, in featured articles he has written since 2015 in the Jerusalem Post and other publications, and since 2019, in his Jerusalem Post Column, Judaism 3.0. The book unveils the transformation, places it in its historical context, and demonstrates how it is already evident – both in the manner Jews relate to Judaism, and in the way the outside world perceives the Jews. The book has already generated robust discussion and anticipation, even before published. A preview was published in a 2018 in a Jerusalem Report article and advanced copies been shared with a select group of thinkers. In January 2022, the Jerusalem Report chose the upcoming book as the cover of its 2022 New Year magazine. A Conversation with US Senator Jim DeMint and White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows | The Second Anniversary of the Abraham Accords | U.S. Economy — Inflation, Energy Prices and Rising Interest Rates | Crisis at the U.S. Southern Border

Join America's Roundtable Radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy in a conversation with Former U.S. Senator Jim DeMint and Former White House Chief of Staff and Former US Congressman Mark Meadows on the vital issues impacting America and the world. The distinguished guests reflect on the second anniversary of the historic Abraham Accords and the opportunities to expand this principled initiative that is advancing peace and prosperity in the Middle East. On September 15, 2020, President Donald Trump hosted a historic signing ceremony for the Abraham Accords formally normalizing diplomatic relations between Israel and Arab states — the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain. Furthermore, this historic breakthrough led to the Kingdom of Morocco and Muslim majority nations Sudan and Kosovo to join the Abraham Accords. Europe's Kosovo established its first embassy in Israel locating it in Jerusalem, the Jewish state's capital city. The Abraham Accords refer to the agreements of diplomatic relations and full normalization between Israel and partner countries including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, Sudan, and Kosovo. The conversation with Senator DeMint and Congressman Meadows will provide listeners with an update on the U.S. economy with persisting inflation, rising interest rates by the Federal Reserve Bank, the immigration crisis impacting the nation and specifically border states, and the forthcoming mid-term elections in 2022. According to the Associated Press, "Mortgage buyer Freddie Mac reported Thursday that the 30-year rate rose to 6.02% from 5.89% last week." The report showed that the average long-term U.S. mortgage rates climbed over 6% this week for the first time since the housing crash of 2008, and threatening to sideline even more homebuyers from a rapidly cooling housing market. This discussion will delve into how government policies affect families and the private sector, specifically small and medium size businesses. Brief bios Former US Senator Jim DeMint | Chairman, Conservative Partnership Institute Jim DeMint has fought tirelessly for freedom, prosperity, and traditional American values against the Washington swamp for over two decades. Today, he leads and trains a new generation of conservative warriors as Chairman of the Conservative Partnership Institute. DeMint represented South Carolina in the U.S. House (1999-2005) and U.S. Senate (2005-2013). Known for policy innovation, he authored leading conservative reforms to health care, education, taxes, and entitlements. DeMint garnered national acclaim from conservatives for leading efforts to ban congressional earmarks, the source of billions of dollars of wasteful spending for decades which had led to corruption and widespread abuse. He also successfully led the fight to stop the McCain-Kennedy amnesty bill in 2007. DeMint is also the Founder of the Senate Conservatives Fund, which played a major role in the election of many of the Senate’s leading conservatives like Mike Lee, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Tom Cotton. President Trump appointed DeMint to the White House Economic Advisory Board in 2020. DeMint’s latest book, They’re Lying to You, was a number 1# best seller on Amazon. Former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows | Senior Partner, Conservative Partnership Institute President Trump called Mark Meadows “the guy who never stops working.” Mark’s work is that of a true public servant. From his days in the U.S. House of Representatives to his time as President Trump’s chief of staff to his current role as CPI’s Senior Partner, Mark has worked tirelessly to shift the focus from the desires of Washington politicians to the needs of the American people. Working with the House Freedom Caucus, which he co-founded in 2015, he helped strip key provisions of Obamacare as it crushed the American people with sky-high premiums and fewer healthcare choices. He helped pass the historic tax cuts of 2017. And he changed the dynamic of the Republican conference and helped oust then-House Speaker John Boehner. Mark and his fellow Freedom Caucus members would go on to successfully defend President Trump from the bogus Russia collusion attacks and impeachment. By the time he became chief of staff in 2020, Mark had already spent countless hours working with the 45th president to give the American people a seat at the table. Mark was President Trump’s gatekeeper and top advisor, steering the White House through one of the most tumultuous years in American history, as COVID-19 lockdowns, race riots, and other assertions of leftist power ripped through the country. When Mark left government service in January 2021, he wanted to keep up the fight. That made CPI his obvious landing spot. As senior partner, he helps lead CPI’s strategic initiatives on Capitol Hill, with other partner organizations, and with grassroots activists across the country. Mark also paved the way for other former Trump administratio

A Conversation with Economist Steve Hanke | Is America Headed for a Whopping Recession in 2023? | Russia: Reviewing the Effectiveness of US and EU Sanctions on Moscow — Are Sanctions Really Hurting the Russian Economy?

Join America's Roundtable Radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy in a recent conversation with Steve H. Hanke, a professor of applied economics and founder and co-director of the Institute for Applied Economics, Global Health, and the Study of Business Enterprise at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. Steve Hanke is a leading world expert on currency boards, measuring and stopping hyperinflation, privatization, currency and commodity trading, water resource economics, and other topics. The conversation with Professor Hanke will provide listeners with an update on the U.S. economy and the impact of inflation and how government policies affect families and the private sector, specifically small and medium size businesses. Will the Fed's interest rate hikes lead to a soft-landing or a major recession in 2023? On America's Roundtable Radio, Professor Hanke will highlight his economic predictions for 2023. His predictions for 2022 on the inflation rate was right on target, a warning he and his colleague John Greenwood relayed through a commentary in The Wall Street Journal a year ago titled "Too Much Money Portends High Inflation — The Fed should pay attention to Milton Friedman’s wisdom." How Effective are Sanctions on Russia? The discussion will also examine U.S. and European Union sanctions imposed on Russia. This past week we found out that with energy prices up, Moscow is reaping significant financial gains through the sale of oil and gas. A recent Wall Street Journal report stated that through July 2022, Moscow has totaled $97 billion from oil and gas sales, earning $5.4 billion more per month than last year's monthly average. Russia is actually pumping almost as much oil into the global market as it did before prior to the conflict with Ukraine. US Assistance to Ukraine Rises to $60 Billion — While the European Union's Contribution Amounts to $10 Billion Only The Biden Administration along with Democrat and Republican members of Congress have authorized over $60 billion in US taxpayer funds to support Ukraine's military and provide assistance to Europe's NATO members. However, the EU comprised of 27 member states in Europe has only provided 10 billion euros (USD$10 billion) since the beginning of the war. As a leading world expert on currency boards, measuring and stopping hyperinflation, currency and commodity trading, Dr. Hanke will relay his thoughts on the US and Euro currencies and the currency board that he developed for a number of countries around the world. His recent commentary in The Wall Street Journal titled "Floating Exchange Rates Add to Economic Uncertainty” raised important points. The discussion with Professor Hanke on Saturday morning will focus on the perils of instability which brings problems for the U.S. and Europe—and serious crises to developing nations. Importantly, the conversation will highlight the significance of advancing principled pro-growth policies for America. Recent statements by Professor Steve Hanke: “We will have a recession because we’ve had five months of zero M2 growth, money supply growth, and the Fed isn’t even looking at it." "The bottom line is we’re going to have stagflation — we’re going to have the inflation because of this excess that’s now coming into the system.” “The problem we have is that the [Fed Chair Jerome Powell] does not understand, even at this point, what the causes of inflation are and were. He’s still going on about supply-side glitches. He has failed to tell us that inflation is always caused by excess growth in the money supply, turning the printing presses on.” Bio | Steve H. Hanke Steve Hanke is a leading world expert on currency boards, measuring and stopping hyperinflation, privatization, currency and commodity trading, water resource economics, and other topics. A professor of environmental health and engineering, Hanke is co-founder and co-director of the Institute for Applied Economics, Global Health, and the Study of Business Enterprise, an interdivisional Institute between the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences and the Whiting School of Engineering. The Jewish Insider | Morningstar ESG rating system violates Arizona anti-BDS law, treasurer says “As Treasurer, it is my duty to ensure that Arizona does not do business with companies that are attempting to undermine Israel’s economy and violate Arizona’s anti-BDS law,” said Arizona Treasurer Kimberly Yee. “Morningstar’s ESG rating subsidiary, Sustainalytics, appears to violate Arizona law by negatively impacting ratings of companies doing business in Israel. I continue to strongly oppose the use of woke ESG ratings in order to keep politics out of Arizonan’s livelihoods and retirement accounts.” In Treasurer Yee’s letter to Kunal Kapoor, CEO of Morningstar Inc., she informed Kapoor that the company had 30 days within receipt of her letter sent on August 18, 2022, to provide written certification explaining how Morningstar’s usage of ESG ratings does not violate Arizona’s anti-BDS law. Further, Treasurer Yee required that Morningstar must provide a written averment that they will not engage in any future boycott activities against Israel. “As Arizona’s Chief Banking and Investment Officer, I stand with Israel, and I will not allow taxpayer dollars to become victim to the woke political gamesmanship of ESG ratings. ESG ratings are a political scorecard, not a financial scorecard,” said Arizona Treasurer Kimberly Yee. “I will not allow companies to promote policies that are antisemitic and discriminatory efforts against Israel, which is America's longtime friend and ally, and a significant trade partner with Arizona.” Treasurer Kimberly and Arizona's state government have stood in support of Israel's sovereignty and thwarted efforts of American companies working to boycott Israel. Last year in September 2021, Treasurer Yee withdrew $143 million of Arizona's public funds from Unilever, the parent company of Ben and Jerry's over the ice cream firm’s decision to cease sales in Judea and Samaria also known as the West Bank, and east Jerusalem. A published report stated — "Arizona will not do business with companies that are attempting to undermine Israel’s economy and blatantly disregarding Arizona’s law," said Treasurer Kimberly Yee. The conversation with Judge Saad is focused on concerns raised by America's engaged citizens regarding the deterioration of the rule of law, the actions of the administrative state, and the fate of individual liberty and private property rights. The conversation will also look at how America's rule of law impacts U.S. foreign policy, and specifically the current process put in motion which has allowed Iran — a state sponsor of terrorism to pursue its military goals of developing nuclear arms. While the Biden Administration has failed to hold to account a nuclear-armed Russia for invading a sovereign state on the European continent, the question raised is how will the White House cordon a nuclear-armed Iran from attacking sovereign states in the Middle East including Israel and beyond. The discussion will also highlight the one-year anniversary of the chaotic and disastrous withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan that saw the Taliban take power by force and 13 American service men and women killed in the withdrawal. A Conversation with Ambassador Carla Sands | The Impact of the The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 | The Future of America's Energy Security | Update on Israel and the Middle East - A Review of President Joe Biden's Trip to the Region

Join America's Roundtable Radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy in a conversation with Ambassador Carla Sands. In 2017, President Trump called on Carla Sands to represent the United States as the Ambassador to Denmark, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands (2017-2021). During her tenure, Denmark increased its defense spending, while U.S. exports to the Kingdom of Denmark rose over 43%, resulting in the creation of additional jobs in America. Carla Sands also played a leading role in the business sector when she became the first woman to serve as Chairman & CEO of Vintage Capital Group. The discussion on America's Roundtable focused on the recent economic policies coming from Washington, DC, the future of America's energy security, growing concerns of an emboldened China and rising tensions in the Indo-Pacific region, an update on Israel's efforts to root out terrorist networks in Gaza and the West Bank, also known as Judea and Samaria, and a review of President Joe Biden's visit to the Middle East. The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 claims it will help bring down inflation. However, taxpayers funds amounting to $369 billion will be spent on climate change programs over the next ten years. According to the Penn Wharton Budget Model (PWBM), there’s low confidence that the legislation will have any impact on inflation. PWBM is a nonpartisan, research-based organization at the University of Pennsylvania that creates economic analysis of public policy’s fiscal impact. There is also concern about the proposed legislation which would invest $80 billion in the nation’s tax agency over the next 10 years. U.S. Senator Rick Scott issued this following statement: “Are Democrats doing anything to support border patrol as President Biden’s massive border crisis rages on? No. Instead, they want to supersize the IRS and add 87,000 more agents to hunt down and audit even more families and small businesses. It’s a disgusting misuse of taxpayer money and the last thing American families want as drugs flood their communities and they continue to feel the crushing pain of inflation and rising prices.” Ambassador Carla Sands As US Ambassador to Denmark, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands, Carla Sands proposed and helped establish the U.S. Consulate in Nuuk, Greenland, and assisted with resolving the Thule Base Maintenance Contract dispute. She facilitated partnership agreements between the United States and the people of Greenland and the people of the Faroe Islands and expanded the United States mission in the Kingdom of Denmark to include the United States Coast Guard. In January 2021, Carla received the Department of Defense’s highest civilian honor, the Medal for Distinguished Public Service, for her work to increase security in the high north while countering Russia and China. Carla Sands studied biology and chemistry at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Elizabethtown College before receiving her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College. Carla Sands went on to follow in her father and grandfather’s footsteps, being the third generation in her family to practice chiropractic in Pennsylvania. In 1999, Carla married the love of her life, Fred Sands. After Fred’s passing in 2015, Carla stepped in to lead his company and became the first woman to serve as Chairman & CEO of Vintage Capital Group. https://ileaderssummit.org/services/americas-roundtable-radio/ https://ileaderssummit.org/ | https://jerusalemleaderssummit.com/ America's Roundtable on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/americas-roundtable/id1518878472 Twitter: @CarlaHSands @ileaderssummit @NatashaSrdoc @JoelAnandUSA @supertalk America's Roundtable is co-hosted by Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy, co-founders of International Leaders Summit and the Jerusalem Leaders Summit. Arizona State Treasurer Kimberly Yee | Update on Divestment of $143 Million from Unilever - Ben and Jerry's Boycot of Israel | Restoring America's Energy Independence | National Security Crisis at the US Southern Border

Join America's Roundtable Radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy in a conversation with Kimberly Yee, State Treasurer of Arizona and former Arizona Senate Majority Leader. Arizona and the Arizona Treasurer’s Office was the first state to divest state funds from Ben & Jerry’s due to their Israeli settlement boycott in Judea and Samaria last September. On September 7, 2021, Arizona State Treasurer Kimberly Yee's divested $143 million of public funds from Unilever PLC, Ben and Jerry's parent company. Treasurer Kimberly Yee provides the latest update on Ben & Jerry’s and the actions taken by its parent company Unilever. "As Arizona Treasurer, I've divested all state funds from Ben & Jerry's for boycotting Israel," Yee tweeted. "Israel is and will continue to be a major trade partner of AZ. #IStandWithIsrael and I will not allow taxpayer dollars to go towards anti-Semitic, discriminatory efforts against Israel." The discussion with Arizona State Treasurer Kimberly Yee also focuses on America's inflation surge and the solutions presented to address the nation's energy crisis and the national security at the southern border. Arizona spans more than 370 miles of the U.S.-Mexico border. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection is on pace to make more than 2 million arrests along the Mexico border during the 2022 fiscal year. On the energy front, Kimberly Yee has been a leading voice to hold to account the U.S. banking industry and the world’s largest asset managers when it comes to efforts to boycott energy companies. In November 2021, Treasurer Yee joined a coalition of 15 Republican Treasurers, Auditors, and Comptrollers of states representing over $600 billion in public assets with a warning that it could potentially reduce future business with banks that cut off financing for oil, gas, and coal. The letter reads: "We have a compelling government interest, when acting as participants in the financial services market on behalf of our respective states, to select financial institutions that are not engaged in tactics to harm the very people whose money they are handling. Further, we have the responsibility, as fiduciaries and stewards of more than $600 billion, to ensure that our financial service providers are free from harmful conflicts of interest that could jeopardize state funds. Any financial institution that has adopted policies aimed at diminishing a large portion of our states’ revenue has a major conflict of interest against holding, maintaining, or managing those funds." 11-23-2021 Arizona Treasurer Kimberly Yee Takes Action to Combat Biden Administration Efforts to De-Bank Reliable Energy Firms 11-22-2021 Letter from U.S. State Treasurers to the United States Banks to end boycott of reliable energy companies Bio | Kimberly Yee Kimberly Yee is the State Treasurer of Arizona. Roger Helmer | U.S. - Europe Energy Security Crisis | Germany to Reactivate Coal-Fired Power Plants | Iran Nuclear Threat

Join America's Roundtable Radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy in a conversation with Roger Helmer, former member of the European parliament representing the United Kingdom (1999-2017) and serving in the Conservative and the UKIP parties, respectively. The conversation focuses on the importance of energy security and how Washington's ill-advised policies have led to record fuel prices adversely affecting working families and businesses. The conversation also highlights Europe's energy crisis and how countries such as Germany face even greater uncertainty with the forthcoming winter season. Germany's center-left government has now decided to ramp-up its coal-fired power production. Europe's climate obsessions, its emphasis on renewables and the Russian factor have led to a major crisis that will impact citizens and the continent's manufacturers. Mr. Helmer will present his message on how renewables undermine our energy security and how consumers, voters, and elected officials should apply principled market solutions to securing energy independence. Amid the energy crisis, the discussion will bring to the forefront U.S. President Joe Biden's visit to Israel and Saudi Arabia, the concerns regarding a nuclear-armed Iran, and the instability it will create in the Middle East and beyond. Mr. Helmer was a member of the following European Parliament committees — Industry, External Trade, Research and Energy and Employment and Social Affairs. He served as member of the ASEAN delegation. Mr. Helmer has worked with several multinational companies including Procter & Gamble, National Semiconductor, Reader's Digest, Tootal Group/ Coats Viyella, and Guinness PLC. Join America's Roundtable Radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy in a conversation with Oded Revivi, mayor of Efrat, in the Gush Etzion region of Judea and Samaria, Israel. The conversation will review Israel's leadership role in strengthening the Abraham Accords, how the rule of law foundation fuels the Israeli market economy and trade, and with an update from Judea and Samaria. With U.S. President Joe Biden heading to the Middle East (July 13-16) with stops in Israel and Saudi Arabia, the discussion on America's Roundtable will also draw greater attention to the growing concern of the Iran nuclear threat. “Now Tehran is much closer to having enough fissile material for a nuclear bomb, though they do not appear to have resumed their weaponization program. But we are of course alarmed, as are our partners, about the progress they've made in the enrichment field. Iran has enough highly enriched uranium on hand to make a bomb and could do so in a matter of weeks." — Robert Malley, U.S. Special Envoy for Iran. Dr. Steve Hanke | U.S. Inflation at 40-year High | Energy Independence | Failure of Sanctions — Russia

Join America's Roundtable co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy for a conversation with Dr. Steve H. Hanke, professor of applied economics and founder and co-director of the Institute for Applied Economics, Global Health, and the Study of Business Enterprise at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. Prof. Hanke served as senior economist on President Ronald Reagan’s Council of Economic Advisers and as senior adviser to the Joint Economic Committee of the U.S. Congress. The discussion will highlight the reasons that Americans are facing skyrocketing inflation and high gas prices. On America's Roundtable, Professor Hanke will share why he believes that there is a 70 percent chance of a recession impacting America — and stagflation as a real possibility. "According to what the Fed released on Tuesday, the US money supply (M2) has slowed dramatically in the past two months. If this plunge continues, a recession will begin late in 2022 or early 2023. The Fed is clearly doing what they’ve been doing for some time: flying blind." — Professor Steve Hanke The conversation will also delve into America and the West's failure to change Russia's behavior as Putin and his generals wage war on the European continent. Professor Hanke, a strong critic regarding the effectiveness of imposing sanctions will share empirical observations and history's lessons regarding this failed effort being pushed by politicians. CNBC report "Russia’s ruble hit its strongest level in 7 years despite massive sanctions. Here’s why" — "The reasons are, to put it simply: strikingly high energy prices, capital controls and sanctions themselves. Russia is the world’s largest exporter of gas and the second-largest exporter of oil. Its primary customer? The European Union, which has been buying billions of dollars worth of Russian energy per week while simultaneously trying to punish it with sanctions." WSJ: Cancel Milton Friedman, and Inflation Is What You Get — By Steve H. Hanke and John Greenwood | June 5, 2022 The word ‘money’ doesn’t even appear in President Biden’s plan to whip inflation. The lead paragraph of President Biden’s op-ed “My Plan for Fighting Inflation” (May 31) asserts that the global economy faces an inflation problem exacerbated by Vladimir Putin’s war in Ukraine, high oil prices and supply-chain problems. This line of argument shows why the president’s team and the experts at the Federal Reserve were unable to anticipate the inflation conundrum that their economic missteps have forced us into. It also shows why the president’s plan will likely fail to allow us to exit inflation with a smooth landing. We don’t have a global inflation problem. Inflations are always and everywhere a monetary phenomenon spawned by the creation of excess money by local central banks. China, Japan and Switzerland also face elevated oil prices, supply-chain problems and fallout from the war in Ukraine, but their annual inflation rates are 2.1%, 2.5% and 2.5%, respectively. They have avoided the ravages of inflation because their central banks haven’t produced excessive quantities of money. Adherence to the tenets of monetarism is nowhere to be found in the Biden White House or the Fed. Chairman Jerome Powell has stressed that we had to “unlearn” monetarism. It looks like Mr. Biden was an attentive student. The word “money” doesn’t even appear in his plan to whip inflation. As he said in 2020, “Milton Friedman isn’t running the show anymore.” As long as Friedman and monetarism remain canceled, the White House and the Fed will be grasping for straws. Conversation with Victor Davis Hanson | The Dying Citizen | America's Vanishing Middle Class | Erosion of the Rule of Law | National Security

Join America's Roundtable co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy for a conversation with professor Victor Davis Hanson, best-selling author of The Dying Citizen: How Progressive Elites, Tribalism, and Globalization Are Destroying the Idea of America. Professor Hanson is the Martin and Illie Anderson Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution; his focus is classics and military history. Hanson received a BA in classics at the University of California, Santa Cruz (1975), was a fellow at the American School of Classical Studies, Athens (1977–78), and received his PhD in classics from Stanford University (1980). The timely conversation brings to the forefront America's vanishing middle class and how government policies are impoverishing millions of citizens. Professor Victor Davis Hanson will provide his perspective on the influx of over 3 million illegal immigrants entering through the US southern border and its impact across the country. Key topics will also cover the significant erosion of the rule of law, and the weakening state of our national security. The Washington Post reports on the data compiled on illegal immigrants — "The agency is on pace to exceed 2 million detentions during fiscal 2022, which ends in September, after tallying a record 1.73 million in 2021." In an essay titled "A Quiet Destruction," Professor Hanson wrote, "There is a common mentality evident in these pathologies and among those policymakers responsible for them. It is a strange new sense of justified entitlement among our credentialed elites in government and in private enterprise. As self-righteous moralists, they now assume that their deserved affluence, influence, and cultural superiority should exempt them from suffering firsthand the consequences of their own abstract theories and misbegotten policies that fall so heavily and so destructively upon distant and forgotten others." Professor Hanson provides a clarion warning by relaying evidences of the looming peasant state: "The result is the emergence of a new American peasantry, of millions of Americans who own little or no property. The new majority has scant, if any, savings. Fifty-eight percent of Americans have less than $1,000 in the bank. A missed paycheck renders them destitute, completely unable to service sizable debt. Most of what they buy, from cars to electronic appurtenances, they charge on credit cards." The Dying Citizen: How Progressive Elites, Tribalism, and Globalization Are Destroying the Idea of America The New York Times bestselling author explains the decline and fall of the once cherished idea of American citizenship. Human history is full of the stories of peasants, subjects, and tribes. Yet the concept of the “citizen” is historically rare—and was among America’s most valued ideals for over two centuries. But without shock treatment, warns historian Victor Davis Hanson, American citizenship as we have known it may soon vanish. In The Dying Citizen, Hanson outlines the historical forces that led to this crisis. The evisceration of the middle class over the last fifty years has made many Americans dependent on the federal government. Open borders have undermined the idea of allegiance to a particular place. Identity politics have eradicated our collective civic sense of self. And a top-heavy administrative state has endangered personal liberty, along with formal efforts to weaken the Constitution. As in the revolutionary years of 1848, 1917, and 1968, 2020 ripped away our complacency about the future. But in the aftermath, we as Americans can rebuild and recover what we have lost. The choice is ours. Articles and Essays by Professor Victor Davis Hanson: The Sovietization of American Life Behind all our disasters there looms an ideology, a creed that ignores cause and effect in the real world—without a shred of concern for the damage done to those outside the nomenklatura. A Quiet Destruction The problem is not that government is doing too much or too little, but rather that it is utterly failing in those key tasks that must rightfully be its focus. The Mercury News | Hanson: The American people are being forced to imagine the unimaginable Americans are now entering uncharted, revolutionary territory. They may witness things over the next five months that once would have seemed unimaginable. Until the Ukrainian conflict, we had never witnessed a major land war inside Europe directly involving a nuclear power. In desperation, Russia’s impaired and unhinged leader Vladimir Putin now talks trash about the likelihood of nuclear war. Conversation with Senator Jim DeMint | America's Economy | National Security Crisis at the U.S. Southern Border | Solutions to Advance US Energy Independence | Peace Through Strength

Join America's Roundtable co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy for a conversation with Senator Jim DeMint, former US Senator and Chairman of Conservative Partnership Institute, a great American patriot and principled leader focusing on the vital issues impacting our nation and the world. The conversation with Senator DeMint will highlight the significance of affirming U.S. Constitutional principles and the urgency to advance pro-growth policies. On America's Roundtable Radio, the timely and relevant discussion will address the Biden administration's policies, America's serious economic problems including skyrocketing inflation now at 8.6% (fastest pace in 41 years), and the high energy costs adversely impacting American families and small businesses. The U.S. economy and the nation's security is dependent on energy; however, government policies and stringent regulations being imposed from Washington, DC, have undermined America's energy independence and placed the nation at great risk. Senator DeMint will present his views on the Federal Reserve's announcement on Wednesday of a 0.75-percentage-point raise of the federal-funds rate, the central bank’s largest rate hike since 1994. Senator DeMint will also address the national security crisis and humanitarian crisis at the U.S. southern border. The discussion will place the spotlight on the goals of the Democratic Party's policies which reveal a troubling vision whereby the Department of Homeland Security is set to punish Border Patrol agents while refusing to uphold a rule of law based immigration system and shore up national security at the borders. Update: 50 Illegal immigrants on the terror list were apprehended at the border by Customs and Border Protection in 2022 thus far. This figure is more than the total number caught in the last five years combined. The dangerous activities of transnational organized crime networks at the border include human trafficking and smuggling of drugs such as fentanyl. The New York Times reported, "...deaths from drug overdoses rose again to record-breaking levels in 2021, nearing 108,000, the result of an ever-worsening fentanyl crisis, according to preliminary new data published on Wednesday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention." The program will cover Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the brutal warfare resulting in 1,000 casualties per day in the Donbas region, and the significance of affirming America's long-standing policy of peace through strength. Iran is dangerously close to completing its nuclear weapons program. Senator Jim DeMint has fought tirelessly for freedom, prosperity, and traditional American values against the Washington swamp for over two decades. Fmr. U.S. Congressman and Economist — Dr. David Brat | U.S. Economy | Inflation | Energy Security | The China Threat | Big Tech - Antitrust

Join America's Roundtable co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy for an in-depth conversation with former U.S. Congressman David Brat, the brilliant economist, dean of the Business School at Liberty University, and executive advisory board member of International Leaders Summit — focusing on America's economy and the future of public policy in the United States. The conversation will also highlight a new Wall Street Journal-NORC Poll which shows that Americans are deeply pessimistic about the U.S. economy and view the nation as sharply divided over its most important values. According to The Wall Street Journal, "Some 83% of respondents described the state of the economy as poor or not so good. More than one-third, or 35%, said they aren’t satisfied at all with their financial situation. That was the highest level of dissatisfaction since NORC began asking the question every few years starting in 1972 as part of the General Social Survey." The discussion will also bring to the forefront the Biden administration's efforts to loosen up federal patent rules, thus opening the door for high-tech companies backed by the Chinese government to raid American inventions in the highly coveted 5G space. According to The Washington Examiner, "...three GOP senators are also warning that in watering down intellectual property protections, the administration could be jeopardizing national security at a time when China and other potential foes are outspending the United States on 21st-century technology by a mile.” This weekend's program will also review the concerns being raised by American citizens and legislators about the Biden Administration's foreign policy follies and the US entering a quagmire in Europe with $40 billion of taxpayer funds designated for Ukraine, while wealthy European nations still remain hesitant about paying their fair share for defense on the continent. Bio: David Brat, Ph.D. in Economics Before coming to Liberty, Dr. David Brat served in the United States Congress for Virginia’s 7th District. He served on the Budget, Education and Small Business Committees, and Chaired the subcommittee on Economic Growth, Tax and Capital Access. His knowledge base comes from years of experience in business, as an economic consultant with Arthur Andersen and the World Bank and 20+ years of work in higher education teaching economics and ethics. John Yoo | Reining in the Administrative State | The Significance of Natural Rights and the Future of America's Courts | Is China a Rival or an Adversary of the United States?

Join America's Roundtable co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with Professor John Yoo, Emanuel Heller Professor of Law at the University of California at Berkeley, Nonresident Senior Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University and Former Deputy Assistant Attorney General at the U.S. Department of Justice. The enlightening conversation focuses on the vital issues impacting our nation including the inexorable growth of an unaccountable administrative state, the significance of "natural rights" and the future of the courts, the First and Second Amendments and on recent developments in China and the Indo-Pacific region. From CSPAN: “What happened at the Court is tremendously bad,” remarked Justice Clarence Thomas about the recently-leaked draft of a Supreme Court opinion that would strike down Roe v. Wade. Justice Thomas elaborated, saying that the leak does damage to the rule of law and institutions in general. “You can’t have a civil society--a free society--without a stable legal system,” he added. His remarks came during an interview at the Old Parkland Conference in Dallas. He also discussed other issues including free speech at colleges and universities, the influence that his mentor Thomas Sowell had on him, his disagreement on always abiding by legal precedent, and his disapproval of protests that happen near public officials' homes. By forbidding Congress to delegate its legislative authority elsewhere, this rule ensures that only elected legislators will make the laws that bind Americans or limit their liberties." —The Supreme Court’s Chance to Restore Political Accountability, The Wall Street Journal commentary by Peter J. Wallison and John Yoo. They are the editors of “The Administrative State before the Supreme Court,” forthcoming in April. Should Supreme Court Justices Believe in Natural Rights? — Newsweek By John Yoo Brief excerpt: "In her answer, Judge Jackson accurately identifies the Declaration of Independence as one of the leading explications of natural rights in American history. But if she has no position on natural rights, as she wrote in response to Senator Cruz, then she has no position on the Declaration of Independence. Her answers did not come under the pressured circumstances of live hearings, but instead came as written answers to written questions after the end of her Judiciary Committee hearings. We should view them not as a mistake, but as her carefully considered views on the matter. Again, she puts herself in opposition to the Great Emancipator, who once said “I never had a feeling politically that did not spring from the sentiments embodied in the Declaration of Independence.” In an 1859 letter, Lincoln memorably wrote on the occasion of Thomas Jefferson’s birthday: All honor to Jefferson—to the man who, in the concrete pressure of a struggle for national independence by a single people, had the coolness, forecast, and capacity to introduce into a merely revolutionary document, an abstract truth, applicable to all men and all times, and so to embalm it there, that to-day, and in all coming days, it shall be a rebuke and a stumbling-block to the very harbingers of re-appearing tyranny and oppression." A Conversation with Governor Phil Bryant | The Dobbs Supreme Court Case, America's National Security Crisis at the Southern Border, the Republic's Economic Decline and the War in Europe

Join America's Roundtable co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with the Honorable Phil Bryant, former Governor of the State of Mississippi (2012-2020) covering key issues of our day including the Dobbs Supreme Court case, the leak of Justice Samuel Alito’s draft opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization overturning Roe v. Wade, America's national security crisis at the nation's southern border, the Republic's economic decline and the war in Europe. On March 19, 2018, Governor Phil Bryant signed the Gestational Age Act (H.B. 1510) into law. This bill was introduced by Mississippi Representative Becky Currie, a registered nurse. The bill received bipartisan support in both chambers of the legislature. Before becoming the state’s chief executive, Phil Bryant was lieutenant governor, state auditor and represented his legislative district in the Mississippi House of Representatives. Governor Bryant began his career as a deputy sheriff in Hinds County and is a great proponent in strengthening America’s constitutional principles — the rule of law, and standing firm for the significance of life, and liberty. Governor Bryant serves on the leadership board of International Leaders Summit and is a distinguished guest contributor of America's Roundtable. “The ability to obtain an abortion would not disappear across the U.S. It might in some states, but in some of those states there are already relatively few clinics that perform abortions. The likeliest result is a multiplicity of laws depending on how the debate and elections go. California might allow abortion until the moment of birth. Mississippi might ban it except in cases of rape or incest. This is how the American system is supposed to work, as the late Justice Antonin Scalia often wrote. After a series of elections, abortion law will sort itself out democratically. That had started to happen before the Supreme Court intervened in Roe, embittering the abortion debate and damaging the Court. In Dobbs the Court can say that such a profound moral question should be decided by the people, not by nine unelected judges.” — The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board, April 26, 2022 | Abortion and the Supreme Court — This is the moment for the Justices to turn the issue over to the voters. https://ileaderssummit.org/services/americas-roundtable-radio/ https://ileaderssummit.org/ | https://jerusalemleaderssummit.com/ America's Roundtable on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/americas-roundtable/id1518878472 Twitter: @PhilBryantMS @ileaderssummit @NatashaSrdoc @JoelAnandUSA @supertalk America's Roundtable is co-hosted by Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy, co-founders of International Leaders Summit and the Jerusalem Leaders Summit. A Conversation with Ambassador Carla Sands | Principled Solutions for America — Advancing Freedom and Affirming Peace through Strength

Honorable Carla Sands, U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands (2017-2021) and a U.S. Senate candidate for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania joins America's Roundtable Radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy for a conversation focusing on the U.S. soaring inflation, growing concerns of an impending recession, the urgency of restoring America's energy independence and significance of empowering parents and children through school choice and charter schools. As the Biden administration pushes for an Iran nuclear deal in Vienna, the discussion will also highlight the fact that an agreement with the state sponsor of terrorism will give Tehran access to some $100 billion in frozen funds. These dangerous developments including a nuclear-armed Iran raise the risk of a potential Middle East crisis impacting the region and beyond. Concerns are raised about the $40 billion Ukraine aid being rushed through Congress without greater oversight of spending. As America's top diplomat to Denmark, a NATO and European Union member state, Ambassador Sands was instrumental in blocking the Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline running under the Baltic Sea from Russia to Germany. During Ambassador Sands tenure, Denmark increased its defense spending, while U.S. exports to the Kingdom of Denmark rose over 43%, resulting in the creation of additional jobs in America. Prior to her appointment as America's top diplomat to the European Union member state, Ambassador Sands had a diverse career in the entrepreneurial, investment, and philanthropic sectors, with a focus on real estate, community service and education. As Chairman of Vintage Capital Group, she also served on President Trump’s Transition Finance Committee and Economic Advisory Council in 2016, and was the California Delegate for the 33rd Congressional District to the 2016 Republican National Convention.
