From the publisher

A coming-of-age, slice of life, audio fiction comedy with a difference. Our ageing heroine shares senior moments, family relationships and adventures—entertaining and a wee bit provocative. In Season 6 some ancient Greek deities choose her to 'save the planet' - if she only knew what her superpower was. Written, performed and produced by Aussie-born, Liverpool-based actress, singer-songwriter and performance poet Flloyd Kennedy with guest performers on 3 continents. Please support the podcast - you can subscribe at Patreon.com/amIoldyet. ★★★★★ "This is delightful storytelling from Flloyd Kennedy. Gentle but deceptively sharp; underestimate the characters populating this podcast at your own peril. The writing, performance and music are all a joy."

S13 Ep 1Another Day

Season 13 kicks off with a brand new chapter in Helen's life. Is she old old? She certainly is, in her opinion. We pick up the story a couple of months after the end of Season 12. Her daughter Janey has moved with husband Jon to Edinburgh. Her next door neighbours have put their flat on the market. And Helen has discovered that she is not fully recovered from the accident, when her head came into close and sudden contact with the pavement. Erika Sanderson returns to give voice to Helen's granddaughter Susie, while Flloyd Kennedy plays Helen, and Jennifer-next-door. The music is courtesy of John T La Barbera, and John's music is available on Bandcamp. Full transcript is available on the website shortly after the episode has been released. https://amIoldyet.com/s13e1 SFX getting hung up on three beeps.wav by lyd4tuna -- https://freesound.org/s/453267/ -- License: Creative Commons 0 While this podcast is free to listen to, it's not free to produce, so please consider contributing towards the expenses involved in presenting it to your listening ears. S12 Ep 1What's up, Helen?

"Am I Old Yet?" Instead of our usual format of short stand-alone episodes in the life of Helen Docherty, Season 12 kicks off in the form of a 6-episode serial, so make sure you subscribe to receive each new episode as it drops. And if you'd like to support the production, you can do that at buymeacoffee.com/amIoldyet. Can she get down to the shops and back in time without running into any trouble? In this day and age? If you would like to listen to all 6 episodes in one Omnibus Edition, just head over to Patreon.com/amIoldyet to make a donation or to subscribe. The cast is: John Warner as Jon (that's Janey's husband), Patricia Gray as the shopkeeper, Erika Sanderson as Susie and Flloyd Kennedy as Helen, Janey, Jennifer and Joey.
