Ginny Yurich is a national speaker, author, and founder of the global movement 1000 Hours Outside, which inspires families to match their screen time with time outdoors. She is the host of the 1000 Hours Outside podcast and the author of several books, including Until the Streetlights Come On and Homeschooling: You’re Doing It Right Just by Doing It. A homeschooling mom of five living in Michigan, Ginny is passionate about helping families escape the modern “rat race” of overscheduling and rediscover the simple joy of playing and learning in nature.
