S3 Ep 56Michelle Lowe-Holder on On Art, Repurposing and Waste - E56
What is wrong with a culture of fast fixes? In this episode entitled No Laughing Matter: Art From the Gutter, Amisha meets sustainable fashion designer and lecturer, Michelle Lowe-Holder. Michelle was inspired to relocate to England from America by the famously radical and innovative fashion design scene. It was here that she became interested in working with more ethical materials and practises and released her first sustainable fashion collection in 2010. Michelle has most recently acquired a surprisingly detailed understanding of teen drug culture, as well as a collection of over 3,000 used nitrous oxide canisters. She has created provocative works of art from her glittering urban forage, which shock audiences by their scale. Together Amisha and Michelle discuss the impact of fast fashion on our mindset and environment, how the 'fast high' of nitrous oxide exemplifies a worrying trend towards disposability and increased waste, and what we as individuals can do to counter such trends. "We need to start changing our mindset about waste in general - how we can repurpose, how we can reuse and how we can value it and change the way we are thinking." ~ Michelle Lowe-Holder Links from this episode and more at https://allthatweare.org/2019/07/11/e56-michelle-lowe-holder-on-on-art-repurposing-and-waste-no-laughing-matter-art-from-the-gutter/ For Amisha's book INTUITION - https://amisha.co.uk/intuition/ Be part of AllThatWeAre community by using this link, https://love.allthatweare.org/membership To work with Amisha one on one, visit https://amisha.co.uk/leadership/
S3 Ep 55Jonathan Kay on The Fool, Archetypal Play and Self Realisation - E55
EWhat does it truly mean to be Foolish? In this episode entitled Making a Fool of Yourself to Find Your Truth, Amisha meets professional Fool, Jonathan Kay. For the uninitiated, The Fool exists somewhere in the archetypal space between a clown, your inner child and a guru - and everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Tune in to experience Foolish ways of looking, seeing, being… and flying! Jonathan has been a performer since a young age, travelling and performing with theatres and bands. Something mysterious happened to him in Winchester in the early 80s which led him to be touched by The Fool and his present life's work evolved from there. He now teaches workshops and programmes, as well as continuing to perform and bring The Fool to audiences and initiates across the globe. Together Amisha and Jonathan explore what it really means to make a Fool of ourselves. Jonathan draws on powerful, painful stories to give examples of the depth of his work with The Fool - which is essentially a spiritual practice for him. "You have to have a contained box before you can see that you can play in this contained box and let yourself out. That heads towards self-consciousness, which heads towards consciousness and being open and out of prison." ~ Jonathan Kay Trigger warning: contains themes of suicide and torture Links from this episode and more at https://allthatweare.org/2019/07/04/e55-jonathan-kay-on-the-fool-archetypal-play-and-self-realisation-making-a-fool-of-yourself-to-find-your-truth/ For Amisha's book INTUITION - https://amisha.co.uk/intuition/ Be part of AllThatWeAre community by using this link, https://love.allthatweare.org/membership
S3 Ep 54Anna Murray on Pattern, Cycles and Balance - E54
At a time of growing individual and global burnout, how can looking to nature's patterns inspire us to find more sustainable and harmonious ways of living? In this episode entitled The Positive Power of Pattern, Amisha meets with Anna Murray, co-founder of Patternity - a 'conscious creative organisation' working with pattern to inspire more curious, collaborative and connected ways of living. Anna shares her journey with patterns, noticing how they play out in her own life and in the world around her, and speaks about how we can work with pattern awareness to create balance in our lives. During her early career in advertising, Anna became aware that something was very wrong with the way she was using her creativity. This sense of discomfort grew stronger and she began to hear a call to change direction. Anna speaks about the experience of taking a leap of faith to respond to this call and how her life has transformed as a result. As an entrepreneur starting a new business, Anna and her business partner, Grace Winteringham, quickly came up against their own patterns and the patterns of the business culture around her. She tells how they were pushed to change, and to really live Patternity's ethos of interconnectedness, beauty and balance. We hear how the two women repatterned their working lives and company culture to be in balance and harmony with natural patterns. Together Anna and Amisha discuss the cycles that shape our lives on a personal and societal level, the bias we hold against slower, darker aspects of different cycles, and the gifts that come from tracking and tuning into our own cyclical nature. Anna tells us about her decision to approach life with more spirals and fewer stripes and what this means in her day to day life. "We have not been taught to value rest, we want to be in perpetual summer." ~ Anna Murray Links from this episode and more at https://allthatweare.org/2019/06/27/e54-anna-murray-on-pattern-cycles-and-balance-the-positive-power-of-pattern/ For Amisha's book INTUITION - https://amisha.co.uk/intuition/ To work with Amisha one on one, visit https://amisha.co.uk/leadership/
S3 Ep 53Alan Clements on Meditation, Sacred Activism and Intimacy - E53
EHow can we change the world by changing our consciousness? In this episode entitled Oxygenating Beautiful States of Mind, Amisha meets author, investigative journalist and teacher of meditation Alan Clements. Together they explore the nature of meditation, consciousness, beauty and activism. Alan shares the story of his enquiry into the influence of consciousness on consciousness itself, including what inspired him to study "the elements of consciousness that enhance its frequency, luminosity, liberty and enlightenment." We hear about the shift from external exploration - through psychedelics, entheogens, diet and yoga - toward an internal exploration, which led Alan to Burma, to the Mahasi Meditation Centre, and his teacher there. After studying mindfulness meditation in a Burmese monastery for over 20 years, Alan returned to the world of laypeople and now spends his days writing, running retreats and teaching what he has learned to others. He and Amisha speak about the challenges of studying meditation outside the controlled environment of a monastery, and how we can practise mindful intelligence as a way of being in everyday life. Alan shares his beliefs about how monogamous commitment is the way of the future for loving relationships, and why abandoning polyamory allows us to reach greater states of freedom together than we can alone. He tells how - by holding the highest integrity of presence in every moment and encounter - we can each change the world right here, right now and one person at a time. "The most important act of activism today is to be in emotional integrity in the most heightened way - where you are, with whom you're with - and let that be the evidence, should you die, of the greatest gift you gave to the future of life." ~ Alan Clements Links from this episode and more at https://allthatweare.org/2019/06/20/e53-alan-clements-on-meditation-intimacy-and-sacred-activism-oxygenating-beautiful-states-of-mind/ For Amisha's book INTUITION - https://amisha.co.uk/intuition/ To work with Amisha one on one, visit https://amisha.co.uk/leadership/

EHow can embodiment practises unlock our potential? In this episode entitled Moving Into Our Future Potential, Amisha meets strategist, coach and facilitator Daniela Plattner. Daniela works with movement to unlock and unleash creative confidence. Since playing footsie with Gabrielle Roth - the founder of 5Rhythms - as a child in a New York restaurant, Daniela has been on a profound personal journey with movement: finding her purpose in the place where her greatest pain and her greatest joy meet. S2 Ep 51Aurelio on Sound, Mysticism and Healing - E51
How do the soundscapes of our lives influence us? In this episode entitled The Art, Craft and Science of Sonic Experience, Amisha meets visionary listener, musician, educator, and global citizen Aurelio. Now based in India, Aurelio grew up in Austria and has travelled the world studying the origins and functions of music. Aurelio rejected book-learning in favour of finding embodied experiences of music in daily life around the globe. He speaks of the primal pulses and frequencies that infuse our existence from conception onwards and how these influence our cells, our sense of harmony, and our social rituals. Aurelio tells us about life and works at Svaram - a campus and community in Auroville, dedicated to experience of sound. He talks about the roles of music in our lives - both individually and collectively - and the findings of neurobiological studies into the effects of sound and music on our brains from our earliest moments in utero. Together Aurelio and Amisha explore the ever-changing soundscapes of our lives; from the jungle to the city and from the womb out into the world. "In most indigenous cultures there was a sound event that brought forth manifestation. At the beginning there's the unknown cosmic ocean and then something ignites and starts to throb. All of us come into incarnation in this fluid space where sound travels seven times as fast. We are exposed to pulsation for 9 months...We all have a pulse in ourselves." ~ Aurelio Links from this episode and more at https://allthatweare.org/2019/02/07/e51-aurelio-on-sound-mysticism-and-healing-the-art-craft-and-science-of-sonic-experience/ Visit this link to learn more about SVARAM For Amisha's book INTUITION - https://amisha.co.uk/intuition/ Be part of AllThatWeAre community by using this link, https://love.allthatweare.org/membership
S2 Ep 50Safia Minney on Modern Slavery, Ethical Fashion and Sustainability - E50
How many slaves are making your clothes? In this episode entitled Slaves to Fashion: a Voice for the Voiceless, Amisha meets author, consultant and social entrepreneur Safia Minney, who founded ethical fashion brands People Tree and Po-Zu. Safia speaks to us about modern slavery: all the ways it is hidden in plain view and what she and others are doing to change the broken system that perpetuates it. Amisha and Safia discuss how the very fabric of our environments is part of a tangled web of human rights abuses and environmental degradation. We hear stories of some of the 41 million slaves worldwide who have been trapped in bonded labour, human trafficking. As awareness grows around modern day slavery and legislation begins to come in, big companies are forced to account for the treatment of workers in their supply chains. However, more still needs to be done. Safia tells us how we can act to make a change, refusing to stay complicit in a polluting and abusive system where the human and environmental cost of high-street fashion prices is just too high. "We need to find that appreciation for our food, for our clothes, for the products that we use and understand that these are not given to us. Nature doesn't give them to us free of charge- they come with environmental costs and they come with environmental risks and those risks are often borne by the most vulnerable people in the world" - Safia Minney Links from this episode and more at https://allthatweare.org/2019/01/31/e50-safia-minney-on-modern-slavery-ethical-fashion-and-sustainability-slaves-to-fashion-a-voice-for-the-voiceless/ For Amisha's book INTUITION - https://amisha.co.uk/intuition/ To work with Amisha one on one, visit https://amisha.co.uk/leadership/

Together he and Amisha share their own journeys of learning to access and follow their intuition, as well as discussing some of the latest scientific research into intuition and consciousness. We hear the story of how Justin came to be living and working with flow consciousness, his experience of sharing what he has learned with others and some of the obstacles people face on their journey to embracing flow consciousness as a way of life. He sets out the conditions - both internal and external - that can support us to step into flow consciousness, how to rewire our perceptions to achieve an ongoing state of flow and how we can perpetuate the experience once we have accessed it. "We tend to only be consciously aware of the macro decisions - the big ones - but they make up the smallest percentage of the decisions we make each day. It's the small decisions that make the most impact collectively." ~ Justin Faerman Links from this episode and more at https://allthatweare.org/2019/01/24/e49-justin-faerman-on-flow-consciousness-intuition-and-effortlessness-finding-our-way-to-flow-consciousness-and-staying-there/ For Amisha's book INTUITION - https://amisha.co.uk/intuition/ Be part of AllThatWeAre community by using this link, https://love.allthatweare.org/membership

How can rediscovering our creativity free us to thrive? In this episode entitled 64 Million Artists: Unlocking The Creative Potential of a Nation, Amisha meets creative consultant and entrepreneur Jo Hunter. Jo grew up very creative, but as the pressures of adult life kicked in, like so many of us she became focused on being fast and being perfect, rather than being creative. When the hectic pace of her 'dream job' began to take its toll, Jo took a month out to slow down and reconnect. She asked people around her to set her some creative challenges, and working through them one by one she rediscovered her own creativity - her capacity to take risks and to play - and it changed her life. S2 Ep 45Jem Bendell on Deep Adaptation, Climate Change and Societal Collapse -E45
How can we adapt to the inevitability of climate-induced societal collapse? In this episode entitled Acceptance and Evolution in the Face of Global Meltdown, Amisha sits down with strategist and educator Jem Bendell. Jem published a paper in July 2018 introducing the concept of Deep Adaptation and stating his belief in the inevitability of climate-induced societal collapse within the next 10 years. Jem first became an environmentalist as a teenager in 1988 and went on to train as in climate science during his degree before moving into the field of sustainable business. Alarming data on melting ice and permafrost drew Jem back to climate science, where he soon realised that what we see today are many signs of runaway climate change, which has already gone beyond our control. Through his work on Deep Adaptation, Jem offers three questions for humanity at this time: what do we most value, what must we let go of and what must we restore that has been lost? Jem speaks about sharing his message with school children and sustainable development professionals alike, the fascinating responses he has received to his work and the resulting existential and spiritual shifts in his own life. "The big challenge of our time is to make sure that when our hearts break we stay open and connected and curious rather than coming up with stories to justify ourselves being violent to others that we have othered more than those closest to us." - Jem Bendell Links from this episode and more at https://allthatweare.org/2018/12/27/e45-jem-bendell-on-deep-adaptation-climate-change-and-societal-collapse-acceptance-and-evolution-in-the-face-of-global-meltdown/ Visit this link to learn more about The Green School Bali For Amisha's book INTUITION - https://amisha.co.uk/intuition/ To work with Amisha one on one, visit https://amisha.co.uk/leadership/

S2 Ep 37Daniel Pinchbeck on Ecological Crisis, Systemic Change and Collective Action - E37
EHow can we collectively act now to dramatically shift our course to a better planetary future? "We are in this process of disintegration - an accelerated meltdown of what were stable aspects of our planetary support system- expressing something within us that has to die, change and be reborn." ~ Daniel Pinchbeck In this episode entitled How Soon Is Now? A Call to Action, Amisha meets New York Times bestselling author and speaker Daniel Pinchbeck. His most recent book "How Soon is Now" looks at the ecological crisis as a rite of passage or initiation for humanity and proposes a "blueprint for the future". Daniel speaks about the disruptive breaks and shifts in consciousness required to address our global crises and the technological, systemic, and social solutions that will support them- including blockchain, gigantic kelp farms, and planetary terraforming. We hear why collective mass action is our best hope for change, how Facebook offers the potential for collective action but thwarts us from having the power, and why we must prepare now to act quickly when the next breaking point comes and what stands in the way of committed, collective action. How do our stories shape us and how do we shape them? In this episode entitled The Stories We Tell in Order to Survive, Amisha meets author and journalist Tyler Wetherall. Together she and Amisha take a deep dive into our understanding of truth, lies, secrets, and stories. By the age of 9 Tyler had lived in 13 houses in 5 countries and she believed this to be normal. Tyler shares with us the story of her childhood and the circumstances and decisions which led to her unusual upbringing. But more than anything this episode is about the power we have to reconcile our past, and change our future. "I genuinely believe it is almost impossible to choose one version of the truth, one version of a story that stands alone... I like to think of everyone's different stories all together like threads in a plait, you chose which thread to follow when you tell a story." ~ Tyler Wetherall Links from this episode and more at https://allthatweare.org/2018/10/25/e36-tyler-wetherall-on-secrets-story-and-identity-the-stories-we-tell-in-order-to-survive/ For Amisha's book INTUITION - https://amisha.co.uk/intuition/ Be part of AllThatWeAre community by using this link, https://love.allthatweare.org/membership

What must we understand today to make good choices about the technologies of tomorrow? In this episode entitled Sustainable Superabundance or a New Dark Age for Humanity?, Amisha sits down with futurist, technologist and author David Wood. David was among the earliest pioneers of mobile phone software in the days before the dawning of the world wide web. He has worked in mobile and emerging technologies for 25 years, and now acts as an independent futurist, consultant, and writer. Together Amisha and David dive into the ethics and morality of technological development, how to live in a world with no work and what we need to learn today to be ready for tomorrow. EHow can changing the way that we approach parenting create a brighter future for all of us? In this episode entitled Birthing & Raising a Better World, Amisha takes time to connect with birth worker and parenting consultant Roma Norriss. Roma believes that parenting is the most potent form of activism available to us, and that if just a single generation of children have their emotional needs met, we will see a very different world. She shares stories from her own journey as a parent and explains how we can actively support our kids to stay with their feelings and use their body's wisdom to heal. "When parents respond to their children with connection, we will see adults who have a lot less hurt to act out on, and it's that hurt that drives us to plunder our planet's resources and make off-track decisions and fosters greed and consumerism and lack of consciousness around the planet. So when we are building humans that are less damaged, we are going to start seeing a world that is less damaged, and I really don't think that is going to take a long time." ~ Roma Norriss Links from this episode and more at https://allthatweare.org/2018/09/13/e30-roma-norriss-on-parenting-listening-and-relationships-birthing-raising-a-better-world/ For Amisha's book INTUITION - https://amisha.co.uk/intuition/ To work with Amisha one on one, visit https://amisha.co.uk/leadership/

Peter tells the story of how he became Mayor of Frome by accident and rewrote the rules to return a sense of ownership to the community, putting 40% of council taxes back in people's hands and inviting children to vote on council budgets. He explains why manifestos inevitably end in broken promises, why he favours removing party politics at the local level and the need for epic facilitation skills in local government. "This is about trying to create participatory democracy not representative democracy….It's saying elect 17 people and then their job is to build a community where whatever it is you want to get done, you can - or at least have a good try at it - and there will be money and support." ~ Peter Macfadyen Links from this episode and more at https://allthatweare.org/2018/08/09/e25-peter-macfadyen-on-democracy-community-and-local-government-rewriting-the-rules-for-local-politics/ For Amisha's book INTUITION - https://amisha.co.uk/intuition/ To work with Amisha one on one, visit https://amisha.co.uk/leadership/

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Nimo received an Ivy League education, found fame as a rap star, and enjoyed a successful stint working on Wall Street. After the horror of 9/11, Nimo realised that despite his material success, he felt unhappy and unfulfilled. An unexpected phone call from a friend planted the first seed and later painful health challenges finally drew him to India where he began volunteering at the Gandhi Ashram in Ahmedabad. Together with a group of children from the local community he produced an album of songs. This first project marked the beginning of working closely with underprivileged children and their families to bring their voices to the world. Nimo shares with us some powerful lessons received from the children, their families, and the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi during his time in India. "I like the idea that we come empty handed and we go empty handed. She explains how the current epidemics of anxiety and depression, climate change, and plastic pollution are caused directly by the actions of multi-national corporations and how a shift to localism holds the antidote to what ails us. "We are swimming in a sea shaped by corporate desires. They are not thinking beings they are structures shaped by blind reductionist thinking and ever larger scale and greater speed." ~ Helena Norberg-Hodge Links from this episode and more at https://allthatweare.org/2018/07/19/helena-norberg-hodge-on-corporate-control-systemic-change-and-localism-escaping-the-jaws-of-hungry-giants/ For Amisha's book INTUITION - https://amisha.co.uk/intuition/ To work with Amisha one on one, visit https://amisha.co.uk/leadership/
S2 Ep 21Jeremy Lent on Patterns, Integration and Meaning - E21
Why and how do we create patterns of meaning out of the vast expanse of existence? In this conversation, Jeremy and Amisha explore the world history of our separation from nature, the human instinct to bring meaning and pattern into life, and how we work with the emotions that arise from this, so we can create a flourishing, beautiful sustainable future. "Optimism and pessimism are both cop outs, but hope is a state of mind that things can change. Whether we think they will or not there is that possibility." ~ Jeremy Lent In this episode entitled Humanity's Patterns of Meaning, Amisha sits down with author and integrator Jeremy Lent. Jeremy's recent book 'The Patterning Instinct' explores the way humans have made meaning from the cosmos from hunter-gatherer times to the present day. From psychedelic awakenings in Cambridge student squats, to fleeing Britain for California to "see something great", Jeremy followed a deep knowing that there was something much more to life than what he was experiencing. Jeremy's current research, writing, and teaching is driven by the desire to marry his intellectual understanding with what he feels in his body to be true. He seeks an integrated understanding of the rules that govern the cosmos, inside and outside of us. "If you can work with nature, we can flourish together." ~ Jo Royle In this episode entitled Remembering The Ocean – An Urgent Call to Reconnect and Save our Seas, Amisha meets up with skipper, activist, and ocean campaigner Jo Royle. Jo's work with Common Seas is focused on reducing the threat from plastic pollution, working with industry leaders to eradicate single-use plastics and address the cultural and economic root causes of the problem. Despite growing up landlocked and suffering a crippling autoimmune disease during her teens, Jo spent much of her childhood in a dinghy in Devon. After studying at university and making a determined recovery from illness, Jo set sail as a young adult to work at sea full time for over a decade, skippering a variety of vessels and leading projects across the globe. On her travels Jo saw first hand where our relationship to the seas is out of balance and this fuelled her determination to advocate for oceans and marine life. Jo shares with us some harrowing stories and heartbreaking statistics from ocean expeditions to the front lines of climate change. She offers straightforward solutions that we can all implement now and ways to become ocean activists in our daily lives. "Most important is for more and more of us to have good times on and by the water. The more you connect with nature, whether the sea or a forest the more you will learn about it and the more you want to protect it." ~ Jo Royle Links from this episode and more at https://allthatweare.org/2018/07/05/e20-jo-royle-on-marine-science-ocean-plastics-and-environmental-activism-remembering-the-ocean-an-urgent-call-to-reconnect-and-save-our-seas/ For Amisha's book INTUITION - https://amisha.co.uk/intuition/ To work with Amisha one on one, visit https://amisha.co.uk/leadership/

How to bring people together for experiences that change lives. In this episode entitled Fuelling Creative Fire to Inspire Culture Change, Amisha is in conversation with William Etundi, a curator and creator of "events that touch the world". From jubilant mass political protests to mind-expanding mansion parties, William's events blend social commentary, art and public spectacle. Together Amisha and William discuss their experiences of race, difference, place, belonging and embodying cultural bridges. William speaks about his experience growing up as a mixed race man with African heritage in both America, as well as his early childhood experiences of activism as the son of a politically engaged pastor in a proudly gay district. From taking days off school to attend protests as a child, William grew up and moved to New York to immerse himself in the community of activists and culture creators of the late 90s and early 2000s. He describes the energy and hope of young people reclaiming the streets and speaking truth to power, and the crushing disillusionment that followed the brutal police suppression of protests around the 2004 Republican convention in New York. Amisha and William share stories of entering inside the mainstream political and judicial system, getting burned by what they saw and experienced there and how this led them both to turn their energies towards the soft, small, interpersonal actions at the roots of society and the call of the creative fire inside. William Etundi's work has been featured in the pages of Vogue, i-D Magazine, Paper Magazine, and more, with the New York Times proclaiming him "an impresario of the underground." In 2012 he launched SeeMe, an international artist network that grew to over 1 million members. He is also the founder and creative director of You Are So Lucky, one of the most sought-after tickets in New York City. "I think it is essential that when you feel that creative fire inside to be true to that. It doesn't mean it's going to save the world but it might save you and that could be just as important". In this episode entitled Raising Vibrations and Starting Conversations with Food, Amisha meets Lucile Yaney, a psychotherapist and visionary restaurateur. Lucille shares the story of how the Inn of the Seventh Ray was born of a mystical encounter with the "last eyesore in Topanga" and a year-long commitment to following her heart. Everything at the Inn, from the vibrant food to the meditation gardens, is rooted in a set of principles which infuse the experience of fine dining. Lucile offers guidance on how to transition to a diet that allows your body to detoxify itself and be able to attain a higher vibration. S2 Ep 17Aviram Rozin on Reforestation, Compassion and Volunteering - E17
How to create an open sustainable living community, rooted in compassion and regeneration of the land. "To come to a place where people are willingly here to serve you, to give you a safe and transformative experience, that by itself is healing." ~ Aviram RozinIn this episode entitled Growing Forests and Community Off the Grid, Amisha sits down with Aviram Rozin, founder of Sadhana Forest - a reforestation project and sustainable living community, which was established in 2003 on 70 acres of degraded land just outside Auroville. Unschooling and Gift Economy are some of the compassionate ideologies that underpin the social aspects of the project, and the community nurtures a culture of non violent communication and service. What began as a way for a family of three to live in alignment with their chosen principles, has blossomed quickly into a vibrant transformational community with two further projects being established in Haiti and Kenya. Aviram shares stories of daily life at Sadhana Forest and how the project brings people into greater contact with what nourishes and supports them, both within and without - carrying buckets of water for their daily use, charging their phones and laptops with the midday sun and discovering lifelong talents and passions. He goes on to explain some of the rituals and practises that create the foundations for a thriving sustainable living community and underpin the transformational effect reported by visitors and volunteers at Sadhana Forest. Finally, he shares a little about his newest project, the University of Compassion, which launched in February of this year and aims to bring compassion to the forefront of human thinking."I treat love as a resource that is never depleted. So sharing my love with people, animals, plants, water, this is the recharge- it is like a two way stream all the time. I don't feel like there is energy flowing out of me that will finish - it is all the time flowing in and flowing out." ~ Aviram Rozin Links from this episode and more at https://allthatweare.org/2018/06/14/e17-aviram-rozin-on-reforestation-compassion-and-volunteering-growing-forests-and-community-off-the-grid/ For Amisha's book INTUITION - https://amisha.co.uk/intuition/ To work with Amisha one on one, visit https://amisha.co.uk/leadership/ Be part of AllThatWeAre community by using this link, https://love.allthatweare.org/membership
S2 Ep 16MARTI on Climate Change, Community and Transformation - E16
How can we better respond to the challenge of climate change by moving beyond denial towards graceful, united action? In this episode entitled Facing Climate Change with Grounded Optimism, Amisha is in conversation with environmental activist, writer, and photographer MARTI, who gave a keynote at the Copenhagen climate conference in 2009 and more recently has been working with indigenous groups across the planet at the front line of the climate crisis. MARTI and Amisha discuss how the proximity of significant climate change so often gives rise to denial, why community is crucial to finding our way forward amid climate chaos, how the most humble acts can have incredible quantum impact, and why we must reclaim the wisdom of previous civilizations to unite and face our future together. "When you hear a glacier melting, the rivers of water emerging from beneath it, it is enough to make your heart break. When Ice from a glacier breaks off into the Fjord it takes about 6 weeks for it to disappear into the ocean. A glacier takes 150,000 years to form." ~ MARTI Links from this episode and more at https://allthatweare.org/2018/06/07/e16-marti-on-climate-change-community-and-transformation/ For Amisha's book INTUITION - https://amisha.co.uk/intuition/ To work with Amisha one on one, visit https://amisha.co.uk/leadership/ Be part of AllThatWeAre community by using this link, https://love.allthatweare.org/membership

In this episode entitled Why Yoga is Much More Than Moving Your Body, Amisha spends time with teacher, Vedic astrologer, and all round wise man Anand Semalty. S2 Ep 13Bayo Akomolafe on Reality, Post-Truth and Sacred Activism - E13
"Dancing with my daughter and singing my son to sleep is just as cosmic as a star exploding and expiring in space." - Bayo AkomolafeIn this week's episode These Times are Urgent, Let Us Slow Down, Amisha takes a deep dive with poet, philosopher, psychologist and professor Bayo Akomolafe into the nature of truth, reality and activism. Bayo offers observations on how our responses in these urgent times may well perpetuate the crisis we try to escape and what the alternatives might be. He expounds the opportunity that lies in the depths of confusion, the indigenous wisdom found at the heart of quantum physics and how caring for our children is as cosmic as an exploding star.At the heart of his invitation lies a simple but radical shift of perspective and a new question to walk with, that might lead us to new forms of activism and new ways to serve the times we are living in."If you find yourself right all the time, then look around you you are probably alone. To be flawed, wrong, wounded, is to recognise that we are in a world of other beings. We live and thrive and emerge in the orbit of other beings, and that is beautiful and tragic all at once." - Bayo Akomolafe Links from this episode and more at https://allthatweare.org/2018/05/17/e13-bayo-akomolafe-an-aesthetic-of-entanglement-and-the-sacred-gift-of-stopping/ For Amisha's book INTUITION - https://amisha.co.uk/intuition/ To work with Amisha one on one, visit https://amisha.co.uk/leadership/ Be part of AllThatWeAre community by using this link, https://love.allthatweare.org/membership

S1 Ep 8Sally Kempton on Meditation, Authenticity and The Goddess - E8
Cultivating inner power and understanding the tantric perspective of the divine feminine. In this episode entitled Awakening the True Blueprint Within, Amisha sits in reflection with writer, teacher and former swami Sally Kempton.
