S4 Ep 106Trust, Interbeing And Sacred Sanctuaries with Bayo Akomolafe, Charles Eisenstein & Manish Jain - E106
What can we do to honour those that hold the world together? In this episode entitled Playing In The Wild Fields Of Trust, Amisha brings together Manish Jain (E39), an un-educator, giftivist, writer and co-founder of the Unschooling movement in India, Bayo Akomolafe (E13), a poet, philosopher, psychologist, professor and curator of the Emergence Network and Charles Eisenstein (E98) a social philosopher, author and public speaker; three leading thinkers and visionaries seeking to understand and shape the fabric of our earthly communities in new ways. In this life-affirming conversation they share their observations and insights of what is unfolding in their respective cultures during the current season of change. As invisible 'secrets', rituals and mythologies that bind or polarise our communities are revealed, they invite us into exploration of how we might change our worldviews relating to death, education, power dynamics and trust. They talk about how with care for community, village economies and mutual aid, we may form life experiences that counteract our sense of separation and the fragile hostile global systems we have constructed. They reveal our current transformation as an opportunity to ask new questions about how we hope to shape this moment and how we might grow new fields of trust honouring the exponential possibilities we could seed. Their heart-led approaches encourage us to envision these possibilities as sacred sanctuaries where we might encounter things that are greater than ourselves. Their deep bond of brotherhood invites our spirit of playfulness to seek out wilder forms of thinking and education, wilder forms of coalitions, wilder forms of communication and change to shape new patterns of interbeing. How can we step with a clear heart into the responsibility that comes with privilege? In this episode entitled The World Needs To Be Loved Not Saved, Amisha sits down with serial entrepreneur, author and teacher Swaady Martin. A former award-winning executive at General Electric, Swaady has gone one to found a series of socially conscious enterprises, as well as teaching mindfulness and yoga and writing spiritual tales for children. Her parents - both very different and from different blended cultural backgrounds- instilled in her a sense of responsibility that came along with the privilege she was born into. Swaady shares with us the inner process of deconditioning that we must go through in order to reconnect with our authentic selves, the earth and each other. By deeply questioning every one of our beliefs and values, we can clear space for the quiet voice of intuition to become louder, and to step into sacred leadership led by our intuition and our hearts. S3 Ep 81Nina Simons on Leadership, Diversity and Restoring the Feminine - E81
How can we restore the feminine within ourselves and society in order to lead from our hearts? "One of the systems errors that we as humans tend to make, is to think that people who think like us are smart and people who don't think like us are not - and actually nature shows us over and over again that the most resilient ecosystems are the ones with the greatest diversity of species." ~ Nina Simons In this episode entitled Nature, Culture and the Sacred: Listening for Leadership, Amisha connects with award-winning social entrepreneur and visionary thinker Nina Simons. Nina is Co-Founder and Chief Relationship Strategist of Bioneers, a nonprofit organisation that highlights breakthrough solutions for restoring people and planet. Nina speaks about what she has witnessed, experienced and learned over 30 years working with change-makers and activists. Nina speaks about learning to lead from the heart rather than the mind by decolonising our inner world, learning to value difference, feeling our communal challenges and prioritising the love that can carry us through them. Together Nina and Amisha discuss the importance of ritual, how to build, sustain and grow with relationship, and reclaiming the feminine in ourselves and in our cultures. They enquire into the nature of activism - how we can each find our individual assignment and role in these times, and what - if anything - is truly worth dying for. The most precious resources we have are our creativity, intuition and the untapped human potential that lives in all of us. Let's be both bold and sensitive and use this to create the most beautiful future." Amisha Ghadiali We were made for these times, and each one of us can dig a little deeper into our excellence, our resourcefulness, our humanity and our hearts. S3 Ep 76Layla Saad on Self Reclamation, White Supremacy and Understanding Privilege - E76
EHow does white supremacy show up in our lives and what is our work to do? "I really believe our primary work is to do the work of healing and self-reclamation, because it has taken so much away from us in ways we cannot even fathom. This is why I do this inner work right alongside the outer work. Before we go out and change the world we deserve to get the healing, to reconnect with that source inside of ourselves that feels worthy and is good. That is very revolutionary because it's remaking the world." ~ Layla Saad In this episode entitled Being A Good Ancestor, Amisha shares a moment with author, speaker and teacher, Layla Saad. After her open letter "I need to talk to spiritual white women about white supremacy" went viral on the internet, Layla has gone on to write and publish a book called 'Me and White Supremacy'. In this interview Layla speaks about her own journey of awakening into the full expression of herself as a black woman, and unravelling the ways in which external and internal white supremacy and conditioning has kept her light low until now. She talks about the pivotal moments that catalysed her own awakening, and how she began to change the way that she showed up and reconstruct her internal universe. Together, Amisha and Layla speak about their experiences as women of colour, of working and living in predominantly white spaces, encountering deeply ingrained white supremacy in spaces that they had expected to be free of it, and of the ways they have had to adapt to survive under these conditions. How can we be truly present to ourselves, to each other and to earth in these times? "The first spiritual practise for me is to listen – to really listen. To listen to ourselves, listen to our pain – not ignore it. To listen to each other, each others pain, joy, fear – to listen to the earth. The moment that we open ourselves up to that it's clear that the earth is in pain and she is calling for us to listen. "This evolutionary doorway that we have the potential to step through is about interbeing, and that means not separating anything out - not separating ourselves from each other, ourselves from the earth, the inner from the outer, the dark from the light. You can't step into that place without also doing this work of embracing all of it." ~ Justine Huxley Links from this episode and more at https://allthatweare.org/2019/09/19/e66-justine-huxley-on-interbeing-deep-adaptation-and-regeneration-deepening-darkness-and-the-regenerative-spark-holding-the-wholeness/ For Amisha's book INTUITION - https://amisha.co.uk/intuition/ Be part of AllThatWeAre community by using this link, https://love.allthatweare.org/membership To work with Amisha one on one, visit https://amisha.co.uk/leadership/

S3 Ep 64Jemma Foster on Alchemy, Plant Consciousness and Vibrational Medicine - E64
In this episode entitled Joining the Dots Between Plants, Planets and People, Amisha climbs aboard the good ship Xanadu to meet with forager, chef, and plant alchemist Jemma Foster. Jemma stepped out of a career in journalism to train in vibrational healing and plant medicine, after becoming fascinated with quantum physics and the vibrational nature of reality. Jemma walks us through the tapestry of interwoven healing and medicinal modalities that make up an experience with Mama Xanadu - from astrological botanical elixirs infused with planetary sound frequencies to private musical performances from plants - and explains the origins and intentions behind each element. She shares some of the latest research into plant neurobiology and introduces us to a breathtakingly beautiful technology that allows us to listen to what our plants have to say and track how they respond to the changing environment. "Once you have a relationship, it's the same with a person. You can bring a person to mind and connect across time and space, and that's the same thing with the plants and with the remedies. We have many tools with which to work, but in its purest form we have that direct perception, direct communication." ~ Jemma Foster Links from this episode and more at https://allthatweare.org/2019/09/04/e64-jemma-foster-on-alchemy-plant-consciousness-and-vibrational-medicine-joining-the-dots-between-plants-planets-and-people/ For Amisha's book INTUITION - https://amisha.co.uk/intuition/ To work with Amisha one on one, visit https://amisha.co.uk/leadership/ Be part of AllThatWeAre community by using this link, https://love.allthatweare.org/membership

S3 Ep 62Phoebe Tickell on Systems Change, Courage, and Apocalypse - E62
EHow do we overcome paralysis in the face of complexity? "We all have something that we came to do. If more people were doing that soul work we would be in less of a mess. When we ignore that, it is where the numbing begins – the giving up of wanting to participate." ~ Phoebe Tickell In this episode entitled Striving to be Consistent in An Inconsistent World, Amisha meets complex systems designer, social entrepreneur and educator Phoebe Tickell. Together they explore what it means to bridge several different 'worlds' in your work, facing the paralysis that can come when faced with complex crises, and how to connect with our 'soul work'. S3 Ep 59Ed Gillespie on Going Beyond Sustainability, New Technologies and Systems Change - E59
EWhat innovation is needed now to steer us towards a beautiful future? "It ain't just a techno fix. It's not just about shifting an energy system into renewables. it's not just about shifting from fossil fuels to green energy. It is actually about reimagining how so many of these systems can and should work… The size of the solutions have to fit the size of the problems. If what needs to be done doesn't fit within commercial and political realities, then we have to change those realities." ~ Ed Gillespie In this episode entitled Building a Bright Green Future: Handicraft and Spacecraft, Amisha sits down with environmental entrepreneur and author, Ed Gillespie. As a twenty year veteran of the sustainability movement, Ed shares his perspective on where we stand today with regard to climate crisis and the sustainability of our major systems, examples of what has already been achieved and is already being done to change things for the better, and where he is placing his energy now to support that transition. Together Ed and Amisha discuss 'flight shaming' and slow travel, little robot farmers called Tom, Dick and Harry, and the end of our civilisation. They speak about how and why the Extinction Rebellion movement is finding success where others have not, the pressure imbalance between individual citizens and the behaviour of governments and businesses, and how we might reconnect to create a fertile, fun-filled future for our planet. S3 Ep 58Lex Empress on Improvisation, Presence and Surrender - E58
What happens when we let go and trust our voice? In this episode entitled Medicine Songs for the Soul, Amisha spends time with transformational coach, consultant and singer of soul songs Lex Empress. After a childhood spent "in the blackest dark", carefully concealing her innate gifts, and an early career laced with the promise of pop stardom, Lex followed her intuition away from the path laid out for her and onto a new track all of her own - touching hearts and changing lives with the penetrating profundity of her one to one song sessions. From the boardroom to the beaches of Ibiza, thousands have come to sit before Lex and hear the song their soul needs now. Lex shares with Amisha the journey to finally living and expressing her gifts through song, the leaps of faith and great silences along the way, and how she became her own medicine - singing herself sane. You made it!"~ Lex Empress Links from this episode and more at https://allthatweare.org/2019/07/25/e58-lex-empress-on-improvisation-presence-and-surrender-medicine-songs-for-the-soul/ For Amisha's book INTUITION - https://amisha.co.uk/intuition/ To work with Amisha one on one, visit https://amisha.co.uk/leadership/ Be part of AllThatWeAre community by using this link, https://love.allthatweare.org/membership
