There was a time when I went to the supermarket three to four times per week. Now I go maybe twice a month. It is astounding how much I used to spend on groceries compared to what I spend now.

So how exactly did I drastically reduce my supermarket trips and how do I now save so much money. My success is a matter of growing a lot of things at home, having access to organic game meat, and being very careful not to waste anything at all.

You may think this success is because we live on a homestead. But, many of the things we do can be accomplished no matter where you live. There are numerous ways to be creative including growing vegetables from scraps that you commonly throw out. So join me for E161 Don’t Pitch It Out! Plant It!
