We like to visualize our ML output, so when we loaded up the new Arduino TensorFlow library, we wanted to try adding a screen. Here we take an X coordinate, pass it through TensorFlow model that has learned what a sine wave is, and get a Y coordinate back. Here we are plotting the X & Y on the display as a red ball. Create a growling, barking Fizzgig puppet with a moving mouth and animated OLED eyes. He's fierce and fancy, with sound effects and animation, and he's surprisingly easy to build. The MonsterM4sk board does all the work. Installing software is as easy as copy/pasting a few files. Then, plug in a servo, speaker, and hook up a trigger button, and you'll be growling at passers-by and protecting all the Gelflings in no time. This is a great build to do with kids since most of the work is in building the craft-foam mouth and getting his hair just right. This dress was created for the Reinvent the Runway 2019 show in Rocklin, CA. It's made of plastic grocery bags and bubble wrap, and powered by Adafruit's Circuit Playground Express. The dress is motion sensitive and puppeted using fishing line connected to bracelets made of plastic soda bottle rings. The necklace is also made of soda bottle rings, and the fascinator hat is a small turtle made of a soda bottle. The theme was Science, and all the entries needed to be made of recycled materials. This year we’re tricking out our candy bowl with Adafruit’s HalloWing M4. This animated eye looks pretty realistic and you can use the touch pads to trigger LED animations. So get ready to win this years Halloween with animated eyes. The HalloWing M4 has everything you need to add an animated eye to your projects. It features a new IPS display so it looks great at just about any angle. It’s also has built in NeoPixels, so you create some really nice lighting effects. In this project, you can touch the pads to cycle through four different LED animations. It’s really easy to setup the HalloWing M4 with new software. With Adafruit’s firmware, you can install new programs without having to setup arduino. Just download the UF2 files from the learn guide. Plug in over USB and double press the reset button to load the BOOT drive. Then just drag and drop the UF2 file onto the USB drive. The board will automatically restart with the new software. This makes the process so much easier so you can quickly get your projects up and running. It’s never been easier to add electronics into your projects.
