Furry Friends Friday with “Eva” from Paws of Hope – Friday, May 6, 2022

It’s Furry Friends Friday, sponsored by The Mason Jar Cafe, with Eva from Paws Of Hope! Eva is an elegant little Brown Tabby Cat, believed to be almost one year old. Sassy and tough best describes our Eva who, as a kitten, was living on the streets with a compound fracture to her right front leg. Eva’s bravery and intelligence kept her alive. Eva’s broken leg was causing her to be in pain, so it has been amputated and she is maneuvering well. She is learning that people offer comfort. However, being around other cats makes her feel anxious, so her perfect home will not have cats, dogs, or young children. Give Eva your love and patience, and you won’t be disappointed! Eva is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FeLV-FIV. Please contact Paws of Hope at [email protected], or send a private message to our Facebook page, to learn more about our beautiful and brave warrior princess, Eva. Furry Friends Friday with “Apollo” from Cass County Animal Control – Friday, January 14, 2022

Apollo is an American Pitbull Terrier and Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. He is just under 3 years old and has been at our shelter for about 4 months. When he came in we were told that he is skittish around new people, however, in the time he’s been with us Apollo has begun to open up. When you spend time with Apollo, he will show you how goofy and playful he can be, as well as his desire for attention and love. Apollo would really thrive in a home with an owner who is patient and willing to show him that new things are not as scary as they seem. Apollo is house broken, crate trained, and knows basic commands such as sit and shake. When Apollo visited the veterinarian he was very friendly with the staff, and was even well-behaved while his toenails were being trimmed. He has not had a meet and greet with another animal, however, he is very curious about other dogs. Apollo is not yet neutered so his adoption fee is $65.00.
