Meet Pepper! – Furry Friends Friday
Furry Friends Friday is brought to you by The Mason Jar Cafe! In the Heart of the Benton Harbor Arts District. Local, Organic, Farm Fresh! Meet Pepper! Found originally as a stray, poor Pepper was very lost and confused. Being so small and afraid, he at first would not let many people pet him. Since coming into our care, Pepper has slowly come out of his shell and is getting more comfortable as he learns his surroundings. Pepper would best fit in a home with no children as quick movements still frighten him. He does well around smaller dogs and has not been cat tested. Pepper enjoys being a little shadow to his person and being able to nap in someone’s lap. Pepper’s adoption fee is $65. Please reach out to Cass County Animal Control (323 M-62 North, Cassopolis, MI 49031; Phone 269-445-3701) to learn more about sweet little Pepper. Meet Rico! – Furry Friends Friday
Furry Friends Friday is brought to you by The Mason Jar Cafe! In the Heart of the Benton Harbor Arts District. Local, Organic, Farm Fresh! Meet Rico! Rico is 2-4 years old and is a Terrier-Mix. He is up-to-date on his shots and has been neutered. Rico tested heartworm + when he first arrived at our shelter on December 10th, 2021. He has completed his heartworm treatment. It took awhile to get Rico to warm up to us and to not be afraid. He is a completely different dog now, and loves his people! Rico may need a few minutes to warm up to you, too, but once he does you will be best friends and cuddle buddies for life! Rico loves to play with toys. When he first came in it didn’t seem like he knew what they were, but now that he understands the concept of them he will play. He is a sweet and quiet dog. He would do well in a home of any type: dogs, cats or kids. He is around 80lbs but is a gentle giant. Please contact Berrien County Animal Control (1400 South Euclid Avenue, Benton Harbor, MI 49022) or 269-927-564 to learn more about sweet and handsome Rico.
