Sinners is a movie with grand ambitions and Coogler delivers on it top to bottom. While the advertising might give off big tentpole vibes, the reality is that this film fits in the mid-budget range and it works perfectly. This is a movie that isn't trying throw constant action moments in your face. This is a film that builds up to those action beats to where it feels impactful. You truly end up feeling for what happens to these characters and the decisions they make. Go see this film now! 3BG rating: 9 out of 10
