I've got moms on the brain. Yesterday was the 9th anniversary of my mom's death and I am so bummed she isn't here to see how well I am doing, how much my daughter is growing and how the world is changing for the better. She would 100% be my biggest cheerleader in my work.
I even talked a lot about moms in this week's podcast. I interviewed Calvina Nguyen of Your Brand Spark. Calvina was born in China and moved to the US when she was 9, which brought a whole new conversation around self-care and one immigrant family's experience.
