Ep 50Two Mid-Production Discussions of the Season 8 Theme "Words Matter" | Season 8 | Summer Media Intensive 2025
In early July our Summer Media Intensive cohort members sat down with SMI facilitators (Youth Media Collective members) for two separate YouthForum-style conversations about the season we were working on, and the episodes they would all have done by the end of the summer. This was a training on how to use the podcast studio we share with our friends the St Paul Neighborhood Network, and on how we run YouthForums at Listen Up. When we do these trainings we always say "if it's content worth sharing, we can share it! If we decide not to, it was still a good conversation." This time folks thought it was worth sharing!Whether you've already listened to the whole season or not, tune in to hear cohort members and our youth facilitators were thinking about the importance of words and language while they were in the midst of pre-production!
