Live from Los Angeles Fashion Week, Designer Maria Hildreth shares her story of growing up in poverty. At the age of 12, Maria took to the Yellow Pages, searching for a way to give her family a better life. She thought if she could learn to model, it'd be the answer to her prayers. Her journey evolved from modeling to acting to securing a small loan right before the world shut down for the pandemic. As scary as it was to start a business amidst the rest of the world putting their companies on hold, Maria used the money to create Bellaria, an affordable activewear line for women who aren't basic.
Maria showcased her Bellaria Spring Collection at The Majestic Downtown during LA Fashion Week 2022, with her family beaming with pride in the audience.
