The two discuss sensitive topics covering infertility, IVF, and freezing one's eggs. Although these topics aren't always discussed openly, Katherine and Erin felt others could benefit from the conversation. With men and women waiting until they're older to marry and start a family, to women putting their careers first, to societal pressures, these topics are relevant.
Recently comedian, Amy Schumer, shared about her struggles with infertility on social media. The vulnerable post gained notoriety and lead to an interview with Oprah on her 2020 Vision: Your Life in Focus Tour. Although everyone may not be destined for motherhood, bringing a child into this world is a gift, and these issues are a reminder to have empathy for those who's journey may be more difficult than others.
