After years of negligent behaviour and lack of concern for our environment, it has raised many major red flags in climate change, especially in the past few years. The Maldives in particular are at risk with rising sea levels and coral bleaching affecting this beautiful and iconic destination. Maria Andersen, Marine Biologist at InterContinental Maldives shares what the newly opened InterContinental Maldives Maamu-nagau Resort, Manta Trust and Ocean Group are doing to protect the environment that surrounds the resort.
