Called Lightnet, the remittance provider company  wants to replace underground banking for remittance services by leveraging blockchain and connecting current financial systems with its network of cash agents. The company was co-founded by Chatchaval Jiaravanon, whose family runs the Charoen Pokphand Group, one of Thailand's largest companies; and former investment banker Tridbodi Arunanondchai, Vice-Chairman of Lightnet. Tridbodi shares how it is aiming to create a low-cost and convenient remittance payment solution for 10 million immigrant workers in Southeast Asia.
