Episode 008 Finding Your Work Life Balance
We had the opportunity to sit down with Sarah Hopkins a Social Work Educator at Winthrop University. Before coming to Winthrop, Sarah taught at Binghamton University in the College of Community and Public Affairs. She believes in developing the whole student. Due to this belief, she incorporates self-care practices into the classroom, making sure students develop and engage in self- care practice before becoming practitioners. Through this incorporation, Sarah hopes to help build social workers who are less apt to experience professional burnout. Enjoy this conversation with Sarah Hopkins!
