Today, they allow DW to discuss his account of being the first commercial airline pilot to be cleared to fly into New York City after 911. He gives an account of flying over the wreckage of the World Trade Center and seeing the smoke and fires or molten steel glowing below him. He also discuss how he and other experienced pilots attempted to fly into the WTC in a simulator in Atlanta and, although they all tried several times, no a one of them could do it! Great conversation regarding a major turning point in American history!
