Joel Embiid is Dragging the Sixers to the Finish Line featuring @DavidEarly
We have seen the movie before Sixers fans! The Sixers cannot figure out how to survive without Joel Embiid on the court and they need to figure it out fast before the playoffs. But hey at least they're shooting a ton of threes now?? Dave Early from Liberty Ballers and Clutch Points App joined me to talk about a lot of things including the weird parallels between the 2018-2019 Sixers and this year's team, Tobias and Maxey becoming more willing three point shooters, and Doc Rivers ruining my life by playing the corpse of Deandre Jordan 10 minutes every night. Next we talked about Doc to the Lakers or Jazz rumors and why he could be the perfect scapegoat (and a justified one) if the Sixers flame out early this year in the playoffs and potential beef between Morey and Doc discovered due to a member of the You Know Ball Discord. Then we discussed the first thoughts of doubt creeping into my brain about James Harden due to his passive play and potentially declining skillset and wonder if the Sixers are having buyers remorse or whether I am just panicking over a few bad games. We also talked about why the Brooklyn matchup doesn't seem as concerning for the Celtics, Sixers and Bucks as it did a few weeks ago ... Finally we closed out the episode ranking my Dreams and Nightmares scenarios for the Sixers in this year's playoffs. Enjoy!
