The Story of Camp Candy The number of celebrity based cartoons Gen-Xers and early Millenials had to choose from was certainly astounding. Some enjoyed a great measure of success, while others were just bizarre choices (lookin' at you, Laveren & Shirley in the Army!). It seemed hard to make them land, but when they did we took to them well. One managed to last 3 seasons, with nearly zero supporting merchandise, only coming to an end when its parent station decided to call it quits on Saturday Mornings.
