A recent consultation paper by iMDA and MAS proposed a framework for banks and telcos to take a share of the responsibility in scam victims’ losses. Why was this surprising to us? Elsewhere, Manchester United player Alejandro Garnacho was caught up in a furore over a gorilla emoji he used in a social media post praising his Cameroonian teammate, André Onana.
