ストックホルム国際平和研究所（SIPRI）が発表した年次報告書によると、世界の核弾頭総数は減少したものの、一部の核保有国、特にロシア、アメリカ、中国が大部分を占め、核軍縮の時代が終焉を迎えつつあることが指摘されています。
中国は最も速いペースで核弾頭を増強しており、AIの軍事システムへの導入も核紛争のリスクを高めると報告されています。
