The first Christmas of WW2 sees brutal fighting between the Soviet Red Army and the Finnish defence forces. Stalin's invasion has stalled in the snow, with underprepared and ill-equipped Russian troops dying in droves to outnumbered yet experienced Finnish veterans. But under clear winter skies, a bigger threat is that 'sweating means death...'
