Some good news for those lovers of our state parks in Western North Carolina. Earlier this week South Mountains State Park in Burke County has partially reopened after being closed since last fall due to damage caused by Hurricane Helene. With Chris Edwards to talk more about this and other topics of note around our state parks is Brian Strong, Director of the North Carolina State Parks.
