New Federal Trade Commission data show consumers reported losing $10 billion to scams in 2023, marking the first time that fraud losses have reached that benchmark. The FTC received fraud reports from 2.6 million consumers last year, with the most commonly reported being imposter scams. With us now to talk more about this is Natalya Rice, Attorney with the FTC's Southeast Region.
