Hundreds of nurses and nursing students are converging on the North Carolina General Assembly on Wednesday, as part of Nurses Day at the Legislature. The biennial event from the North Carolina Nurses Association is designed to showcase the importance of advocacy for policies that increase access to quality, affordable healthcare. Attendees will gather at the Raleigh Convention Center for an exciting agenda before walking up to the General Assembly for a rally on the Halifax Mall. Trish Richardson, with the North Carolina Nurses Association, joined Jeff Hamlin to discuss the rally.
