The Duke men’s basketball team is preparing for the Final Four. It’s the 18th trip to basketball’s biggest stage for the Blue Devils, but it’s the first time for Jon Scheyer as a head coach. Freshman Cooper Flagg was named the National Player of the Year and the National Rookie of the Year by the National Association of Basketball Coaches on Monday. Scheyer is one of three players to lead a Final Four team in scoring, rebounding, assists and steals. Last year, Duke advanced to the Elite Eight after beating Houston. On Saturday night, the Blue Devils will face the Cougars again, this time in San Antonio. Steve Wiseman, Duke beat writer for the Durham Herald-Sun, joined Jeff Hamlin to discuss the Blue Devils’ trip to San Antonio and the matchup against the Cougars.
