North Carolina’s Democratic representation is reacting to Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as the choice by presumptive presidential nominee Kamala Harris to be her running mate. Harris says Walz has “delivered for working families” in his Midwestern state. It was her biggest decision yet as the Democratic nominee and she went with a broadly palatable choice. State Representative Zach Hawkins, from Durham County, joined Jeff Hamlin on the WPTF Afternoon News to discuss what he likes about Tim Walz as Harris’ running mate.
