Phil Berger, the powerful NC Senate leader, trails challenger Sam Page in the GOP primary for Berger’s seat. Berger wanted state officials to pay special attention to certain ballots in an effort to close a 23-vote gap. They declined. Patrick Sebastian, Post Election Advisor for Sam Page, joined Jeff Hamlin to discuss the decision by the elections board.
